That's why I like the song so much, the lyrics are so clunky that it's absolutely believable that a simple bard without particular musical genius created it. It's not polished or free of cringe, which makes it fit in the world so well.

Peter didn't have to go this hard for us, but he did. Absolutely amazing, especially that body percussion. The drop in the second verse absolutely hit in the best way.

can nobody appreciate that jaskier is literally one of the only people who wanted to show the world that geralt wasn’t the butcher and was a good person and helps everyone and is just epic and what he does
I felt that with “toss a coin to your Witcher” jaskier was trying to teach people a much needed lesson in gratitude. He saw the hard work Geralt was doing and felt people were ungrateful and unfairly hostile towards him. He felt bad for Geralt and Decided to help him.
As I was watching the episode, I actually said out-loud to my wife, “Can’t wait for the Peter Hollens cover of this.” And here it is.

I literally judge these covers by the part with "Now pour him some ale" part, if it doesn't have that "rough" sound, then its bad for me. This one does have it, and the rest of it is just magnificent!

I disagree, he didn't have that rough "pour" part like the series. However literally every other part was perfect for me, which is something to say cause he sounded just like Jaskier. Little disappointed he didn't straight up cosplay as him.

I have to share a story, because Peter is not just talented but kind. Five years ago, my daughter's 3rd grade music class composed a list of questions for him and he took the time to answer those questions for them. He could have said no for a myriad of reasons, time, privacy, policy, whatever. He didn't.
