I was a question. When we file the i129 our lawyer only put the petitioners criminal record and didn’t include the beneficiaries. However the beneficiary has a shoplifting crime of an item that was worth $10 and was let go on a warning. Is it okay that we’ll include this on the d160 form ?
The I-129F focuses more on the petitioner's criminal history and not the beneficiaries. At the DS-160 stage, all questions should be answered truthfully.
We included it on the ds 160 form. The beneficiary just got their police clearance certificate and it says that they have a theft conviction and the sentence was a warning. Will this automatically cause denial?

From the information I am gathering, it may not be a good idea to say you are divorced. Why? Well, once again you will be lying and that will be dangerous for you. Also, apparently if you say you were divorced, then you MUST provide proof of that and how would you do so if you are being dishonest about it? Added stress, NOT. A good idea 😮

In 2019 I applied for a tourist visa and I made a mistake by saying I was married and I was Denied for that because they know I was lying
And that same 2019 two months after i applied gain for the tourist visa and this time I put single on my application and the visa officer said that two months before I said I was married and now I’m saying single and I explained to her that was mistake, I totally explained to her that was mistake because it was an agent that helped me with the application and i really don’t understand how it works, I actually accepted responsibility of my actions and I apologized to the visa officers, and I was denied again
And in 2022 I applied for a student visa two different times and I was denied and all both application it’s single on my application.
I have an American boyfriend that I met online since 2021 and we plan getting engaged in January 2024 and apply for the k1 visa.
My question is the made I made 2019 on my tourist visa by lying by saying I was married when I was not , do you think it will affect my k1 visa application being denied because when filling the k1 visa there are sections that asked if I have been divorced and I choose single will it contradicts what I said in 2019 on my tourist visa that I lied by saying I was married when I was not which I later explained later on my other visa application by saying I was single.

From the information I am gathering, it may not be a good idea to say you are divorced. Why? Well, once again you will be lying and that will be dangerous for you. Also, apparently if you say you were divorced, then you MUST provide proof of that and how would you do so if you are being dishonest about it? Added stress, NOT. A good idea 😮

@richardbabs4825 No, I'm saying she must just be honest and indicate that she was single. If she were to dig on the divorce lie because she accidentally said she was married years beforex it will make the situation far far worse. Stick to the single story
