Thank you so much. Got my indesit washer dryer a month ago and only just started trying to use the dryer selection. My last one was so easy to use and this one had me scratching my head. I kept trying to put it on the drying section and it just kept washing my clothes because I was pressing the wrong buttons.🤣 Ur a star 🌟 for putting this information out to us .
Same here, my last Indesit washer dryer was the one with no digital screen, just buttons that were much more straightforward to use. This is just so complicated. Shame on these manufacturers, trying too hard to get into the digital age & not explaining things clearly in their instruction leaflets!!!
I need a new washer dryer. Thinking of getting this one? My old ones a Hotpoint washer dryer and SO EASY to use. It doesn't have a digital panel. Reason I bought it too. All the new machines seem to be digital. I'm rubbish at this. So I'm trying to get as much info on this one before I buy it. My neighbour just did 2 washings foe me today she's a star. Got someone coming tomorrow to look at my old machine and PRAYING he can fix it cos you need a degree to use these new ones. Mines over 20 years old and has been a brilliant machine. Just hoping it's fixable. All you who have this machine do you all recommend this machine. I know none of them seem easy to use these days 😢
Thank goodness I found this video. Have been trying to find out how to use dry only program on my hotpoint as instructions sent with it are wrong. Only comment I would have is instead of saying number 15 he should say put it on Rinse Spin program as my Hotpoint is different to the Indesit. But have at last got it working. Thumbs down to Hotpoint for getting their instructions wrong!!!
You can use these instructions with (almost) EVERY washing program. There is no need to use program 15. So you can dry Cotton using program 1 and the instructions Ste told in the video, the same for Synthetics (program 2), Mixed (program 3), etc. Now you're using the appropriate drying program for the correct type of clothing. Would be nice to not shrink your Wool sweater to the size of a tank top. ;-)

@Stecluz hi I'm thinking of buying this machine my old hotpoint washer dryer has just died. Your video on how to just use the dryer is amazing thanks But how do I use it to just wash the clothes. I prefer to hang my washing up to dry. But do like the dryer option if I might need it for something quick. Or recently I washed my winter coat and used the dryer option on my old one when it WAS working to fluff up the duck down filling. Do you have a video on how to use ALL the buttons on this machine. Do you recommend this machine or should I stick to the Hotpoint washer dryer. It is more expensive but which ones better?? I am thinking of getting it in silver. And Saw your video on the white paint peeling. Is the silver model painted silver or is it silver metal my old machine has just started rusting mainly

Absolutely amazing vid. ty so much. my last indesit washer dryer was a doddle to use, but i couldn't make head nor tail of the instructions (or lack of) with this new one. you're an absolute star!!
Cheers for your videos on this washer dryer. I've had Indesit washer dryers for years now, and always found them easy to use, even without instructions. This machine seems over complicated to me. I'm just trying to get my head around it, and i'm an engineer too! Looking at the instructions on drying only, it mentions that drying only cycle is not compatible with cycles 13 (wash and dry 45') and 14 (Air fresh) So i can only assume it will work with all other selected cycles? The thing i'm trying to work out now, is how to run a wash cycle without a drying cycle? Looking in the manual most cycles seem to wash and dry. It does however let you exclude the dry cycle in the Push and go cycle. (See manual push & go section. The first thing the manual tells you to do (First time use) section, is to run an Auto Clean cycle. This is done by Pressing the Dirty T shirt button and the Sun button at the same time for 5 seconds. this will then start a 70 min self clean cycle. You need to put some detergent in the draw first though. I have a really helpful tip for anyone with an Indesit washer dryer. This will save you either a hefty repair bill, or having to buy another new machine. On the rear of the machine, there is an oval access hatch fixed with six screws. When looking at this hatch from the rear of the machine, you need to remove the top left hand screw. Save it in your tool box incase your machine needs to be serviced in future. The reason for removal is that if the suspension legs get tired, you will not only have to replace those, but also a part inside the machine that the screw wears a hole though. Water will pour from that hole at a certain part of the cycle. I did manage to repair the hole in my last machine using Araldite Rapid, and plasterers jointing tape. The repair has lasted about 18 months so far and is still okay. The reason i have a new machine is that the main electronic card sits below where the water poured out of that hole. I'm guessing it took a bit of time for the circuit board to corrode. I was gonna just buy a new card, but then managed to snap a pin off the pump when removing the card. Lol..... bloody typical! Haha.... Hope this helps you in return anyway. Thanks again. Doug.
My model is similar, but excellent instructions. Mine worked on program 10 and I pressed the middle right button, then the bottom right button for the time on dry mode only.
Hi thanks your kindness on the video ! I did the washing machine as you said in the video, but I still hear that water gets into the drum of the washing machine during drying, which it constantly drains. this is normal? Thanks for the help ❤
I have the same washer dryer and did follow your instructions. Machine is still taking water - every few seconds. Not a lot but still doing and then draining again
It's using the water to condense the hot vapor that is circulating in the machine during drying. If you have water hammering noise from the machine taking water in fast bursts you can install a water hammer arrestor between the water tap and the washing machine hose. This will reduce water hammering and the resulting noise.
Thanks so much, installed yesterday and had uniform to dry, could I bloody sort dryer. Instructions it came with were really stupid and Argos ask a question simply said to answers yes has a dryer setting. Thanks this is working a treat

Thank you for sharing this. I have got new one like this recently but it does shake a lot and make a lot of noise during spinning? Is that normal Thanks
You have to level the machine with the feet on the bottom. You can turn them out to level the machine, get some help to tilt the machine so you can adjust the feet. I did it by myself, but I would not recommend it. Did you also remove the four traveling screws on the back of the washing machine?

Quick question for a new user of a washer dryer, does it actually dry ? Is it worth it ? Living in England makes it difficult to dry clothes so looking to buy an indesit washer dryer. Thanks !
@@Stecluz the manual isn't that great. Also, a lot of people don't get that the machine has a lower capacity for drying then for washing. Overfilling for drying will cause the time to be longer and the clothing to be still a bit wet en wrinkly.
Hi, do you have glass timer during drying? I have it all the time and its flashing during whole cycle.. Not sure if its ok... During the drying fase the washing machine takes short bursts of water which are causing water hammering, which result in the clunking noise you hear every 30 seconds. You can reduce water hammer by installing a water hammer arrestor between the water tap and the washing machine hose. The drying time is a lot longer than with a conventional vented tumble dryer, because it uses another technique to get rid of the moist in the clothing. Also the washing machine has a lower capacity for drying then for washing. You can wash 10KG of clothing, but only dry 7kg of clothing.

Thanks Ste ! Just wondering if i'm the only one who finds it squirts water into the drum when drying. (A little before it starts and a little every now and then during the drying cycle. Seems weird but I even opened the powder draw to see some water being squirted into it (which goes into the drum, i assume). The clothes don't come out much dryer than they went in because of this, perhaps as i've only tried on 60 min drying cycles, but the extra water cant help !
Just put the clothes again as u said, I just used it for the first time n since I moved in a flat there was no way I wanted to hang clothes all around my place. Can actually hear 👂 it's taking the water out. Hopping n waiting for the dry cloths. Will get back soon once its done.
@@valancianunes65 The drying function is limited, the machine will wash 10kg of clothing, but drying has a maximum of 7kg. So you maybe have to split your clothing, wash it with out drying and then start it again for drying only with half of the clothing.

Just put the clothes again as u said, I just used it for the first time n since I moved in a flat there was no way I wanted to hang clothes all around my place. Can actually hear 👂 it's taking the water out. Hopping n waiting for the dry cloths. Will get back soon once its done.
I expected it to be completely dry though.... but its similar to spin & dry.
@@valancianunes65 The drying function is limited, the machine will wash 10kg of clothing, but drying has a maximum of 7kg. So you maybe have to split your clothing, wash it with out drying and then start it again for drying only with half of the clothing.
You absolute legend! Have a lovely day! 😽
thanks
Mine seems to take water in for a split second, in 10 secs intervals throughout the drying cycle. Is this normal?
We’ll explain much appreciated for this clear explanation video. Thanks a lot
