I’m a current driver for TMC and I will tell you, just the vibe that you get from the higher ups, they don’t give af about individual drivers. Right now TMC is hiring so many drivers they are in the transition from a big Carrier to a true mega carrier. I wanted to believe all the bs at first when I was new that you are treated like family and stuff but as time goes on you start to see through the lines. Yes you can make bank at tmc but in my opinion only if you stay out for a minimum of 2 weeks to get that good paying load that delivers the second Monday you stay out. There is no money in going home every weekend at TMC which is what most people do. Unless you live in a specific area with high paying freight. TMC is and has strayed away from their core values ever since the owner recently passed, now you have all the new white collar corporate owners who have never drove a truck before trying to fill as many seats as possible to make as much $$ as possible. Hell I even think in a couple years they will get rid of the black and chrome Petes and go with a freight liner outfitted with a aero kit since they are cheaper. TMC isn’t what it use to be, it’s suffering from its own success right now and in my opinion soon will be just another mega carrier with nothing special about it which is what use to bring good drivers in to TMC because they wanted to work for a company that took pride in themselves. Just my 2 cents as a driver

I’m going to the class in July and I already have plans of not staying long after I get my cdl with them. Idc about paying them back. I’ll send them money to keep them quiet. But I plan on driving for chick fila or some other place like that. You make bank at them places.

Hi, thank you for this information, I have a question after you got fire that first week, when you went out with the trainer, what happened to your class A cld, did you have to pay any money to Tmc? Because I read they want people to commit to work with them for one year.

The company stands for something n if you don’t live up your gone that’s the way it should be..it’s a dangerous job doing flatbed. I don’t work for them anymore.I worked for them for 4 yrs.
