I decided to pick my TOP 3 Fighting Fantasy Gamebook cover art from Gamebooks 51- 59. Beers and Gamebooks what could go wrong!

Magehunter, Knights Of Doom, Revenge Of The Vampire, Island Of The Undead, Curse Of The Mummy, Deathmoor, Legend Of Zagor, Night Dragon and Spellbreaker.

I remember some of these the most vividly as they were still quite new when I’d just started high school. I remember getting Night Dragon from the School library, could never complete it, even when cheating! Similar with Curse of the Mummy, there was a puzzle where you needed to know the reference number to go to (something to do with a map or something?). Even with cheating I never figured it out. I think I found the correct reference just by checking every single one in the whole book and finding the one that seemed to continue on from the puzzle, but I was never 100% certain. I’ll have to play it again soon, see if my adult brain can work it out. If not there’s always the internet 🤣

Great vid as ever... As a simular idea to what you're doing here, and as a follow up, you could do your favourite top pictures within all the books (obviously you'd need more than a top 10... say a top 20, 30, 40 or more, and perhaps limit yourself to so many pictures per book and per artist!) Anyway, just an idea to mull over.
