Amazing track, so unique. Pretty good the way the music is played, and the lyrics are simply divine. Sent this to my son, and now he's pestering me....oh well, if he needs a guide....
People still know what the TABs are that were scored? What is so cool about the lyrics of this song are all the double meanings. My dad was swimming and buzzing; he was electric eel. And a wonderful bridge with those harmonies. This song still holds up.
dada is my past. Just re listened and is my go to memory of the great friends and times I had . Old school rock guy , but this is classic music composers. Hope i spelled things right, cause I really feel this music in my soul.
I’ve always heard it as “Two know that three is a crowd”, which is so much more poetic than “You know...”. Not really sure which is what they wrote & sing.
Son and I driving to St. Louis from KC, to see Dada 2/10/2013. Since I raised him on Dada. This will be played at least once along the way !! Wish I could score some tabs !!
Dang! I am so glad this song is finally online. ThanX. I was really close to David (the dad), and miss him terribly. I've left message after message for Phil (the son), but he has never written me back. :( Awesome THREE MAN BAND though, and I guess I can understand that he just didn't understand the friendship I had with his dad since he was like 30 years older. LoVE ya anyways, Phil... ~*~KiKi~*~
mike the guitar player grew up in saratoga cal not related to anyone he is just one dam awesom player of the strings so is joey i got old video of them on tour with marys danish just two guys makeing the sound of a whole band grew up with these guys good friends and just real good guys never to big to stop and say hi to anyone there the real deal
I wish there was a live video of this around. The "Official Live" version smokes! What a great song! "you know that three is a crowd" ...what kid of the late 50"s can't relate to some kind of similar story. And the guitar playing...unreal!
KiMi Cassedy Phil may have written another biographical song involving his dad with he & Joie’s band 7Horse, called “Two-Stroke Machine”. Another great song - check it out (if you dont already know it).
"The road was our planet, and we were the apes" 😂 Brilliant. dada Rules 2022!
Best lyric of the song for sure
I still fucking love this song! These guys should've been huge, way underrated. So talented
Favourite song of all time! NO contest!!

God those vocal harmonies...
I said they rivaled Queen and Crosby Stills and Nash when I 1st heard them in 1992. Still is not an overstatement 28 years later...

Yep! .... This is Phil's song. I knew Dad. He was the one that stole money in the counting room in the movie Casino. He was awesome.
