Bruce may have always been a McMahon "yes man" and some of what he says should be taken with a grain of salt, but I love the chemistry between these two, much better than with Tony or Bischoff or Ross. I figured Bruce going back to WWE would spell the end for quality podcasts, but this episode is a return to form.

In regards to the question about WM30 not being in NY, the rumor and innuendo for it not being there that year is because the Super Bowl was being held at Met Life Stadium in 2014 so when WWE heard about that they had to get Mania there first so they decided to hold Mania 29 in 2013 there instead of 30 like they were planning on doing.

The comment about randy savage’s potential wwf return in 96 was news to me. In the savage episode I don’t recall this being mentioned. It just seemed like he left and was almost blacklisted from wwf for virtually the rest of his life, but this would be contradictory to that.

I like it when Conrad opens that mail bag. You never know what kind of questions that will be asked. Sometimes they are stupid as fuck. Other times like today they get good questions to stuff that I didn't know about to be completely honest. For example, I didn't know Randy Savage had been in talking of returning to the WWF 18 months after Randy quit due to Vince telling him he was too 'old' to wrestle. I think the success Randy got in WCW got nervous. At that point Randy was already a 2x WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

I always see comments people write about Bruce on here about how he will never speak out against the WWE or against Vince & I always gave Bruce the benefit of the doubt & just thought everyone writing that stuff was wrong, but I
just got done listening to part 1 & 2 with Bruce as the guest on the The Jim Cornette Experience & come to find out that everyone was right about Bruce being Mr WWE. There were a few times that Cornette busted Bruce on a few negative things about the WWE, but Bruce stuck to his guns & refused to say anything negative about Vince & tried to twist the story around to make Vince look like the good guy. There was one time during the show that Cornette had Bruce dead to rights about Vince doing something wrong & all Bruce could say was "I forget what we were talking about. I wish I could remember the exact details of story. I still like Bruce on this show & I'm still a fan of STW, but he is without a doubt Mr. WWE. Bruce should make a t-shirt that has a picture of him dressed as a super hero with a cape, like Superman, only instead of a S on his chest it should say WWE. Superman defends all mankind, Bruce defends Vince like no other.

I always just assumed that Vince was a genius when it came to the buisness because of the huge success of The WWF/WWE, but after listening to all the episodes of STW & hearing some of the ideas Vince had & to hear the way he thinks from Bruce, now I'm wondering how the WWF/WWE became the #1 promotion in the world. Small silly things like changing Tito Santana's name to The Matador just because he went to bullfighting school, eventhough he was already established & was over as Tito Santana is just one small, tiny example of the strange mind of Vince. You could probably make a list of tens-of-thousands of examples of things that make no sense, but to Vince's credit he did give us fans many years of entertainment.

The reason I thought russo was an idiot was because as a writer/ part of creative...we as fans aren't sposed to know who he is let alone see him, and then making himself champion PFFT! "Idiot" why and when is a writer so important that they need to become part of the kayfabe story line, oh right, Russo always thought the world revolved around him... again, "idiot!..." Awesome show! Coming from a person that says what is that and then immediately calls it garbage. I'm fine with that. Because you obviously have no clue what you're talking about. All I offered was to give it a chance. Buuuuuuuut that would be entirely too easy apparently. #wwefanboysrunningscaredoveronelittleshow LOLz there's a big difference between WWE fans and wrestling fans... I love it all for the most part. In reference to the Sid-Hogan RR '92 question, the reason why Hogan got booed and Sid got cheered was because, even in mark terms, Sid had done nothing wrong eliminating Hogan. It was Hogan's fault he was distracted and the Royal Rumble was every man for himself. Hogan looked like a sore loser messing up Sid right then. And I'm 99% sure Hogan himself had eliminated distracted opponents from at least one previous Royal Rumble (if anyone remembered that it'd make Hogan look like a massive hypocrite).
It was tone-deaf to assume fans would always cheer Hogan no matter the situation because Hogan was definitely in the wrong on that one.
