This movie kinda makes me sad in the way it turned out...like it didn’t have to be this way. They coulda all gotten along just fine if everyone remained “decent”...I know it’s just a film, but still. You always wish for the best. And it’s too bad when things go south so quickly.
You don't remake a Clint Eastwood movie, you simply don't. It will never hold up to the original. This was probably the best scene in the whole movie, and the writers completely ruined it.
yes it was called by the same name . it was done in 1971. but unlike this vershion it was pretty sympathetic to the Corprals point of view. this vershion stuck more to the book and gave the story from both points of view symoltainiously.
