ikr im 10 and im really light weight and almost fell off multiple times never go on the front or the back i hate theses rides my dad didnt even go on with me he was so scared i think if he would have went on it would have even the weight out

There’s nothing more horrifying or uncomfortable than this ride. I rode it back in 2009. I was screaming and crying! It is so scary!
Interesting that you say this! I reluctantly boarded in 1998/9 as an 8 or 9 year old, because my dad insisted and I didn't feel the assertiveness to turn back (after asking the Ride Operator: "does it go fast"?)
Fortunately I was laughing not crying. But the negative G forces were at the very border between bearable and overwhelming.
I do not think I should have been urged to go on it - especially due to my heightened sensory perception, as I'm autistic.
It would be much better for there to be similar rides that you control - so that you can gradually increase the height reached. It would help greatly, I think, for acclimatising to rollercoasters. I never rode on a pirate ship this size again, nor did I want to go on any rollercoasters ever.

I remember going on one of these at cedar point and nearly pissing myself when my ass would fly an inch above the seat going backwards and screaming "I'M GONNA DIE Y'ALL!!!" A few times 😂 (T_T) it was fun tho

It doesn't look scary at all but the fact that it doesn't have seatbelts is horrifying. It's the only ride I ever thought I could actually die on. I was getting mad at the kids enjoying it lmao

Went on one of these this week, and I was screaming “HOLY CRAP” so much. I legitimately almost died. I remember clenching my hands so hard. And cried. My butt was almost sliding off the seat. I was at the very end. When I got off the ride, I was trembling so hard. And then I went on the highest roller coaster 5 times. Never again.
Yesterday, I rode this ride for the very first time and it wasn't bad at all. It was actually really fun and made my body feel good
same for me! I recently rode this, and while it was exhilarating and scary the first time, I got immersed in the thrill and had a great time ^v^

It was the complete opposite for me, i sat with my siblings at the vary end and i felt like i was about to fall of my seat it felt like torture and i was flyi g of my seat (a little) i couldnt sit down😭

Omfg I remember my cousin going inside the cage while me and my aunt sat on the ship. My cousin didn’t flinch one bit, meanwhile my aunt fainted two times on my shoulder 😭 I just stood there like 🧍♀️

I first went on this Pirate Ship when Oakwood was a much smaller family park (pre-Megafobia). As it was starting the operator joked that this was the one time a day that the ship would go upside down and I cried my eyes out for the entire ride.
I don't have motion sickness regularly, but these pendulum ship rides at fairs or amusement parks destroy me. I tried it a few times to see if I could overcome it, but I always turn pale white because I feel like I'm gonna fall off since there's nothing strapping you in place and my palms are blistered red gripping the metal bar. Takes me like an hour to recover after.
I tried this ride earlier this month and I thought I was going to die on top of it giving me the worst motion sickness I've ever had. I've gone on plenty of moderately sized roller coasters and simulator rides that are known for causing motion sickness and been fine, but this is the only ride to make me so sick that I broke out in a cold sweat. I don't like to say "never again", but yeah, never again.

Bro here in India we don't have those safety bars as well !! It's just you holding on to the front seat for your life with sweaty palms - and I sat in the last row! The way I was getting lifted every time it went up I cannnooot describe that feeling of literally holding onto my life so tight - if not that it's straight final destination bro

Personally, i don't mind these attractions- but the ship's bumping when it goes around makes me feel like they're always about to break.
I remember I was a kid my family and me went somewhere to a fair and they had a big pirate boat like this. I did not like roller coasters or other rides besides this. I actually road this by myself over and over the whole day and I was the only one on it. Was fun I got a ride to myself until later
I still remember this ride were I screamed my lungs out and everybody in the ride were terrified at the way I screamed. My friends requested the operator to stop inbetween just for me and they had to deboard me from the ride😂😂😂😂

Yess it’s really fun!!! But I recommend sitting in the middle if you. Are scared still! I go here every summer!! And it is said that all of grade sixers are gonna come to playing in June!! For our field trip!!! Im hella excited!!

I don't want to seem edgy but this sort of ride really relaxes me. Something to do with the weightlessness. I get the same on swings that I can lie down on.
Just rode this today and sat at the last row the worst part is when it is all the way up and u look down preparing for the drop

Me and my 15yr old aunt went on this ride on the back. (I’m 16) And I felt the seat lift us up and I started throwing up.
It was called "jolly Rodgers" here in Atlanta's SixFlags. Watching my 4 boys riding it was one of the hardest laughs I've ever had. My oldest boys face literally changed, he didn't even look like himself. I cried!!!! When they got off the ride, they were upset. One of the hardest laughs ever 4 me, hands down!!!
I went on this when I was 5 with my friend who was 8 I loved it so much, it was my favourite ride we went 12 times. I want to go again.
This is the worst ride I have ever been on 😂😭 istg I would go on any ride but this, I was scared of ALL rides after going on the ship 😢 but I got over my fear again and I’m ok now but this stupid ride stopped me going on rides for months. I was SO scared :(

I was confident going on thinking its nothing just a swing thats all but than it got high thats when i was yelling my ass out and i swear i started to have a siezure on this ride but most importantly the safety precautions are horrible literally a bar it should be a seat belt i swear i was close to falling off and breaking my neck
