All my videos are filmed using my iPhone 13 Pro Max and edited on CapCut app’.
For those that don’t know me I was popular on RUclips despite only having my channel for just 8 months.
I had over 540 videos nearly 1 million watched hours, several thousand subscribers and was gifted products to review from companies.
Unfortunately in April 2024 I felt compelled to take it down due to my personal safety was compromised.
However since then safety measures have now been put in place allowing me back on RUclips.

That made me laugh, l've been to Manchester 3 times in my life, l live near Leeds. 1st time, my works van was stolen, 2nd time it was broken into & the stereo nicked, 3rd time my motorbike was stolen from outside a shop in the time it took to buy a mars bar.😂 That was 25 years ago, Manchester can do one.

Your taught from a young age to get into the system. Institutionalised from cradle to grave.
School is the first institution. You sit together, eat together, learn the same things.
Teachers will stress the importance of passing your exams....
Exams that nobody will ever ask to see a copy of ever again in your life.. Thats how important they were!
Then you can go to college, thats your second institution, where you sit together, eat together learn the same things.
Then maybe University where you sit together, eat together etc...
Some join the Army where you sit together, eat together...
Some go to work in a factory where you work together, eat together...etc
Your actively herded like sheep on to the hamster wheel, where your encouraged to get hold of some liabilities, a car, a new sofa, a holiday, a credit card, a mortgage... all of these purchases allow the government an opportunity to collect taxes.
Then they've got you...
You spend the rest of your life paying taxes and paying off those liabilities
Individuality is not taught anywhere in these institutions, neither is sound money management, budgeting, investments or taking responsibility.
Why would they? Its more profitable to herd you into jobs where most people will spend their lives paying off debt.
The vast majority do not understand fiat money systems...
Which is very profitable for governments and financial institutions.

Individuality cannot be taught or encouraged, it's an internal natural trait of the few.
I did most of the things you mentioned, yet I was always an individual and black sheep of the mainstream. Travelled and explored extensively across 100 different countries on a shoestring... and truly loved it. Been living in a car for the past 5-years and absolutely love it. Life is meant to be enjoyable, happy & stress-free...mine certainly is.

Having a mortgage and lots of bills, you live in constant fear if you were to lose your job. Van life is something that interests me.
Left my rented place as i literally had no money for decent healthy food. My van is a broken down piece of crap but im able to cycle to my job and save for a new one 😊

Just found your channel Mark. Loved the vid. I’m living a very unfulfilled life. One without hope mostly. Congratulations on living life on your terms, looking forward to seeing where your adventures take you.
I did a mobile car wash & vac service for a while. Half hour leafleting small office or business units at night the phone would ring the next day & I'd usually pick up 2-3 cleans at the same place, using their electric & water. Perfect little business for van life & travelling, I'd do it again if my current work dried up
Mark wish i had the money to buy a camper and insurance i cared for my mum for over twenty years at her home i have disabilaties to she went into end of life care then i was evicted from home i now live in a bedsit full of mould and damp i have nothing lost it when evicted im depressed to death no life they moved me twenty miles from where i did live hate it so much would like to travle in a van with a dog too just canot find a way of getting the funds to do so i try lotto ect but waist of time and have no family to ask or freinds just prey for another way lol but the love for a. Open road and less stress of been tied down in a concreate box suits me more you inspire me to keep hopeing the dream god bless

Hi Mark, newish sub here. I saw you on Liveration. If you’re ever near the SE of the country I have some small jobs. Shed base, fencing and some painting. I have a driveway for your van. I’ve been looking into van life for a while and would like to escape the system as much as possible. I feel it’s the only way I’ll be happy in this world. I always knew it wasn’t what it seemed!

Even part time or without any work at all, it's very easy to live comfortably on the road just on basic UC. A pensioner has it even easier.
Life is glorious for people with no mortgage and just a vehicle van/car to live in 😂

Hello Mark its Skippy, great video mate. Best take away you said was you work 16 weeks a year, if you have your overheads down to 16 full weeks of the year you are a success. My one suggestion for you would be to build a brand, business, and web site. Then get reviews from every client. Google will love you and you can then have as much perpetual work as you want. You could turn work on and off like a tap. You know how to contact me if you want to grab a beer and go over this. I am 64 and have my 2 year escape plan, then I will work for the highest paying customers, and pick which ones I want to work with. More vanning, fishing, inventing, and biking. Best of all the government can go uck themselves. I am not relaying on them any way in the future. Kind Regards Skippy.

I work 4 months driving a truck, im kind of lucky that work never really dies down for me so if I need any extra then I can do another month, as long as iv got enough to live on, pay the normal van running costs, a bit of food and making sure I never run out of milk and winter trip for 3 months to France then im good to go
Curious, because I have back issues. Do they expect you to do any manual handling or heavy lifting loading/unloading the truck or are you strictly a driver?
@@cavemansam8400 No not really, just opens the back doors or the curtains to get unloaded, the work I do is very easy..

@@cavemansam8400 to drive the trucks I do then you need a HGV1, I got my license many years ago but I think now it would cost about £3000 to get and is no shortage of work either…

Very inspirational Mark , i am one of them in the "rat race" me and my Girlfriend are in our very late 50's and thinking of this life - selling up and just going for it , only thing worry's my girlfriend is if anything happens to me what would she do ? Also we have 3 dogs.
She gets a license and continues, leave a wee bit of money for emergency.u could rent your place out if u own it, just an idea. Go for it man.🙏

But above all material wealth, the main goal to happiness is to be extremely rich in memories.

Van life is not as cheap as people think it is. Insurance, gas, food, propane, etc. It all adds up.

If you work through an agency on packing, factory work etc you need to be aware you will be classed as employed but will still pay to get paid but they will also charge you employers and employees national insurance. its an even bigger rip off than working through them self employed where you are charged to get paid but at least on a way better wage

What about just making Facebook posts in the local city/area facebook Pages that you are taking in new projects, and tell ppl. What you can do. Ill Bet you someone out there is wanting work done, But havent taken the time to ask someone for a Price, for what they want done.
Get on my builder mark you will get loads of private jobs the customers on there dont use bigger firms who price for higher outgoings they are looking for cheaper labour mainly there a lot of driveways on there and patios and brickwork wall repairs etc

We are lucky to live in a society with choice and jobs. While many are encouraged into house and 2.4 children it does not suit everyone. The main aim for all should be F.I.R.E for financial independence mortgage paid off or van paid off 🙂
