I won the name this ride contest for this coaster. My suggestion was the canyon flyer. It was the name the park picked. As part of the prize pack, I got to be the first costumer to ride the new coaster. It's a lot of fun. I rode it a dozen times.

We stayed in Aspen many years ago. It was in June and l think we were the only people in our hotel. It was spooky. I went to find the drinks machine and nobody was around, just empty echoing corridors. Having read The Shining it was scary.......but our room was very nice but we kept the door locked!
It used to be way cooler. Now we have a state law that states no alpine coaster can go above a certain speed, so they had to install governers on all the sleds.
Colorado used to be really cool until all the liberals escaping California started turning Colorado into the same kind of hell hole from whence they came...complete with many of the same nanny-state tendencies.
Agreed. Now I wouldn't be surprised if Jared Polis becomes governor, and then the nanny state will get even worse. The whole state will become Boulder.
