Wow... I am so happy that you did a video on Glenwood Springs. I planned to come but broke my ankle about 2 weeks prior to going, so couldn't go on the trip. I didn't know about Vapor Caves or Riple Falls which looks beautiful so will be adding those places when I go. I also really like that you mention the prices which is very helpful for those making plans. I was one of the winners of the give away and was wondering if you got my email?
I'm sorry to hear you had to cancel your trip! But I'm glad this video can help you plan your redemption trip! The caves and waterfall are awesome. And I received your email and got back to you, your package is on the way :)
I'm on the train to there from Denver on Tuesday (1/30/24) in a sleeper car. Fun town. Some thoughts... Hotel Denver is off my list. It has gone really downhill. Iron Mountain Hot Springs has $3.00 junk fee you have to pay when you buy a pass. Anyway, the town is very walkable. There are NO convenience stores or Starbucks downtown. The hike up to where Doc Holliday's grave might be in fun.
I'm so thankful for this comment, and that you noticed this. Bri and I spent 4 days on a stay/workcation filming this video (plus archival footage shot over the years). And it was so much fun, much more hyper niched to a location rather than something like a state overview. We also filmed a Top 10 Breck on this same trip that should be coming out soon!
You can make it happen on a budget! But some of the activities can add up. There are some bundle packages for the amusement park and gondola. We have also found great deals on hotels here
@@KevinEassa Thanks. I'm planning an Amtrak trip out there this spring. Are all the hotels usually full? I'm debating whether to make reservations or not.
This is such a beautful city, would go again!
Me too, love it so much!

Glad you liked the video!
You should do more videos where you just visit a certain area and explore it’s surroundings like this video.

What about activities in December for families besides the hot spring pool ?
Does everything cost money
Not if you're an illegal immigrant
Not everything! More of an activity-driven place than hiking like some of my videos. But it can be done in a budget friendly way
Sounds great, but you need tons of money.

What's it like now. Are there illegal immigrants laying around everywhere like in Denver?
It’s a beautiful place!

Not nearly so bad. Just left there this AM.
