Vitaly is just a normal dude from another middle class Russian family neither of us brought endless wealth into our marriage. We managed to make some good money through the surf sch business we started together in Vietnam and we saved that to invest in some property overseas n that helped a lot in us achieving enough passive income for covering our monthly expenses in Bali :) @@SuiGenerisAbbie

The best thing you can do is have place with good land that you can live on for free. This rules out most of the West. Provided you have food, water, and health, live simply and basic power, you don't need much money. It's a hard life but you are free.
He is not counting monthly expense the way most people count expense. HDB flats start at SG$2000 (or US$1450). Does he own his apartment? Maybe he has a video about that.
Health is the best thing you have. Without that, you have nothing. Singapore is a place to work not to live. It's an expensive place to retire in. If you want to work 24/7 and enrich the government, go for it. If you want to enjoy life, provided you are not materialistic, it's not the place to be.....money is worthless

I only have one view to share - if everyone thinks that by doing investments, you can stop working and earn passive incomes - don't dream as only a few can make it. So investments whatever they are comes with risk!
Building a “long term investment portfolio” and “don’t care about it for the next 10, 20 years” may sound attractive to a novice but is not sound advice. More so when an individual goes all in and expect to live on an expected 4% yield annually.
Depending on entry points, a long term portfolio has the potential to be “wiped out”. The wait for the market to crawl back (which may take years) can then be painful.
On Tesla, when the Japanese automakers go full force into manufacturing of EVs (incl high end versions like the current Lexus) survivability of Tesla may then come into question.

If survivors tell the stories for just one time, it's experience sharing. If survivors sell their stories in series of videos and live on it, the story is doubtful and hard to say it's still useful for people.
Placing bets at the crypto casino is not investing Jean, it's high risk speculation. Surely this should be evident to you by now given the market cap of crypto market has fallen $2 trillion dollars in just 7 months and the high profile collapse of UST, Celsius etc. Tesla is actually down almost 50% in the last 6 months, trades more like a high risk tech stock. This is not the type of investing one engages in to generate an income stream, that would be quality dividend stocks. As an options trader I can assure you that only investors with a professional mindset make money trading such derivative instruments. Executing an options trade is "easy" consistently making money doing so is not. If you sell a covered call and the underlying stock falls 50% you keep the premium as income but your net worth took a dive. Most get wiped out trading derivatives. It's a zero sum game, if you make money someone else is losing it. Sorry to say Jean but your content here is at best just misleading information and generally bad advice on how to invest to generate income.

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, we are finding it impossible to replace it. We can get by, but cant seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree I'd suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following his advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets,Up 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

The best thing you can do is have place with good land that you can live on for free. This rules out most of the West. Provided you have food, water, and health, live simply and basic power, you don't need much money. It's a hard life but you are free.

If you want to work 24/7 and enrich the government, go for it. If you want to enjoy life, provided you are not materialistic, it's not the place to be.....money is worthless

“Stocks and crypto long term for 10, 20 years so I don’t really care”. “Yeah, me too.” Aforesaid statements are far from the truth.
Uhm so what’s the truth according to you?
Building a “long term investment portfolio” and “don’t care about it for the next 10, 20 years” may sound attractive to a novice but is not sound advice. More so when an individual goes all in and expect to live on an expected 4% yield annually.
Depending on entry points, a long term portfolio has the potential to be “wiped out”. The wait for the market to crawl back (which may take years) can then be painful.
A most recent example is crypto. ETFs or individual stocks investments (into coys like Tesla: a perceived blue chip) are no exceptions either.
On Tesla, when the Japanese automakers go full force into manufacturing of EVs (incl high end versions like the current Lexus) survivability of Tesla may then come into question.

Always great to watch and be inspired by brave souls like Kelvin for taking the unconventional way of 'making a living'. I have followed him almost from Day 1 when Kelvin first started. He is a down-to-earth, honest, humble, transparent and humorous guy! It's amazing that within 2 years, he's able to support his lovely family on multiple streams of income. Placing bets at the crypto casino is not investing Jean, it's high risk speculation. Surely this should be evident to you by now given the market cap of crypto market has fallen $2 trillion dollars in just 7 months and the high profile collapse of UST, Celsius etc. Tesla is actually down almost 50% in the last 6 months, trades more like a high risk tech stock. This is not the type of investing one engages in to generate an income stream, that would be quality dividend stocks. As an options trader I can assure you that only investors with a professional mindset make money trading such derivative instruments. Executing an options trade is "easy" consistently making money doing so is not. If you sell a covered call and the underlying stock falls 50% you keep the premium as income but your net worth took a dive. Most get wiped out trading derivatives. It's a zero sum game, if you make money someone else is losing it. Sorry to say Jean but your content here is at best just misleading information and generally bad advice on how to invest to generate income.
