I really enjoy your videos. You come across as so energetic and honest. The video quality, framing and editing is very superior. (Vitaly has improved so much. ). I have been watching a lot of videos on Costa Rica to get ready for my trip, I over research and plan heavily. So I can enjoy my adventures to the max. You guys are very entrepreneurial. You recently did some interesting interviews of people living in Bali and people running business. So a long story short, I saw a RUclipsr in Costa Rica who makes videos for hotels and brings models to help with advertising videos. I know there are a lot of hotels and travel tour operators in Bali that can use a helping hand. I also know there are a lot of people like me. Who are frugal and want to maximise a short stay on a holiday. Also some of the Costa Rican RUclipsrs affiliate themselves with the businesses. (Such as car rentals). I guess what I’m trying to elude to, is that people who are planning to travel to Bali on an adventure would love to see places and hear the stories of the people who run the hotels, restaurants and tours. I still vividly remember my mountain biking tour down the volcano into villages and meeting the families and rice farmers. Just an idea for you, to do what you love and help others.

Everyone should be doing this. It makes a huge difference to how we live life. Good luck u!
Thanks for sharing your experience and assessment on these side businesses. My wife & I started investing in real estate as side hustle 20+ years ago. Our main focus was positive income on each property, we did flips (re-sale) only if the market was fast enough (in Alberta & Saskatchewan, Canada, this has not been a frequent occurrence during the time span). We have been traditional, relying on the model of "buy, improve and rent out". In the first 10 years, net income per property per month was like $100 - $200, but the main money contributor during this period of time was the loan principal pay down ($500+ per property per month, PPPM), which led to a total monetary contribution of $700+ PPPM. Whenever there was a rapid value rising market, we would select our lower income generating property(ies) and sold them for profit and then immediately bought some with higher income potentials. We have experimented with owning single houses, apartment units (condos), entire apartment buildings, retail spaces, residential land and an institutional building. All these were happening while my wife & I were earning modest income in our jobs. Lending policies were more lenient back in time, making it easier when we first started. As time went on, our portfolio of ownership grew and so did our real estate related liability. Banks started to see more us more as contingent liabilities. Luckily, we were able to convince secondary tier financial institutions to finance us based on simple ownership structure, squeaky clean credit history and networth. Somewhere in our second decade of RE investment, we shifted from portfolio growth in quantity to rapid loan pay down/off on what we owned. And this shift improved the quality of our lives a lot. From that time onward, we were not under the pressure of cash deficiency constantly. We are planning to move back to Asia and would love to experiment with side hustles as suggested by you and with creative real estate hustles. All the best Jean.

@@JeanVoronkova hmm... interesting problem.
how about if you try putting 00:44 instead of 0:44?
i.e. making it 2 digits
see if it works. Because that's how I make my timestamps on my videos.
for eg
00:44
01:20
05:17
Im an artist, focused in Graphic design....i love art too., Please make video about Art and Bussiness, Thank you
Thanks for stopping by! Not sure I’m qualified to talk about art and business but I’m sure many artists based out of Bali can share better tips n advice!
Thanks a lot! I’m trying all that you’ve mentioned except the last one. But still life in Singapore so expensive, especially with kids😁
thank u Liza for the vote of confidence! just dropped by your space you're in my home country! I do think its a very popular choice w russian speaking expats so there may be a good niche there to corner - all the best for that! Maybe you can try teaching Russian language private classes - tutoring has always been a very reliable side hustle for me :) i hope it works out good for u too. plus the Tube of course!
@@JeanVoronkova Thank you for replying and checking my youtube channel, Jean! I'm a big fan of yours:) Yes, I've been teaching Russian for a while here in Singapore, I'm trying new thing right now
These are some very good tips on how to make a extra income
Thank you Jean sweetheart for sharing you're experience
How are you doing?
I'm looking forward to the next video.
hi Dom, thanks for tuning in as always! We're ok... its turned rainy here in Bali! since just 2 nights ago... so its gone from very sunny and dry to suddenly oodles of rain and even thunder and lightning. My dog's gotten so freaked out she's just staying right next to our butts all the time cos i think the thunder frightens her terribly... but yeah... fun to observe the changing of seasons :) I do hope the weather will be nice and dry for your visit though!
Hi Jean watch this with amazement, I'm always inspired with your content, very interesting and helpful, thanks for sharing 💝😊👍
tx sista! xoxo
Very useful video, especially with the rankings! Thanks a lot for this. I've got a question: so far I've probably seen 1000 ads about " the best remote work / digital nomad job out there " being some sort of Affiliate marketing program. I'm kinda skeptic about it, what are your thoughts on this?
thank you!
cheers mate!
We are travel around Bali and haven't watched many RUclips videos at all. Currently in Ubud and having a tour today.
congrats on your bali hols! ack teh weather has somewhat taken a turn for the wet in the last 2 days hope you guys are finding some dry corner somewhere to enjoy Bali vibes!
@@JeanVoronkova yes we are on Gili Trewangan and it hasn't rained today. Hopefully it stays like it.
15:00 The corridor for rent cracked me up 🤣
IKR! how enterprising are me fellow singaporeans some of em!
You cracked me up with the scary troll and over the top when you mentioned multiple attempts... 🤣😆😜😂😅 Nahhh just pulling your leg.
they didn't want to take me lor lol! my jaw dropped when i kena rejected first time ok haha.... but seriously about the real estate rental part... it's not just corridors enterprising Singaporeans are hawking these days lol.... apparently there are people renting out their bomb shelters for storage space too haha i thought that was very clever!
Wow, your videos are so well done, so articulate, so logical. And if you’re reading anything, I don’t see it. Nice top too.
thanks Paul! hope your week is going lovely :)
Your voice is so smooth you could make ASMR videos.
Wow, thank you! 🌸🤗
Hello jean
Lots of scammers here....fake names to fish your money, unfortunately I learned the hard lesson... There's no free moola.
yep so true - that's why we all hustle. Real work brings results.
Started working at 18, strived and grew my portfolio to $600k by 33. Recently, lost over 30% and want to mitigate risks. I'm planning on buying a home soon and want my portfolio to grow to a 7-figure ball park I can retire in 9 years. What should I do?
Adding JEPI and JEPQ is smart for retirement. When it comes to staying committed to low-risk investments, it's all about balancing your risk tolerance with your long-term goals.
@@jonathanxxxx876 I believe a healthy portfolio has 3 things, at the bare minimum: Its Exposure to ETFs for increased diversification, Exposure to assets that generate cash flow like dividend stocks and Exposure to market-leading tech. These are really important for a growing and healthy portfolio
@@LemonTwistSmiles Generally, I think a good number of people discredit the effectiveness of a certified fiduciary in planning for retirement, For the past 10years, I’ve had a CFA consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $3m in gains. It might not be a lot but then retirement doesn’t seem so farfetched anymore.
@@gwendymolly5953 Your CFA must be really good. How I can get in touch? My retirement portfolio's decline is a concern, and I could really use some guidance.
@@dannielleemarie There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Amber Kay Wright” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up
Thank you for the video, I have a you tube channel, my videos are crudely made, but I think the content is decent, but the problem is you are at you tube mercy, and who really knows who "runs" you tube.
😍😍🤩💖
thank u :)
with these side hustles you can get back to your lawyer job as they are pretty useless. you still need to invest lot's of time, same as your day to day job :))) plus, you don't have any medical insurance.
Sure sure, I actually still have med insurance back home in SG plus a nomads policy now, but hey u know best of course
