If anything, I see Archie and Maxie getting one over Giovanni, heck even Guzma, Lusamine and maybe Rose. They’d make more sense since they’re reformed in a way. Giovanni is the same as he’s always been so he’s out of the running

Yeah, Giovanni's been getting his way for way too long now. Despite every setbacks, he's been able to make use of resources scrapped off from one plan to another. I'm betting on Volo being a few levels above of him when it comes to scheming.

Giovanni sure is a crafty strategist, he cares for his pokemon (Maintains them well) while also using them for his own ambitions. 7:43-Crafty use of words there makes it hard to argue with him. Since some pokemon are destructive by nature like Eternatus or Guzzlord. They have a right to live too.
i'm kinda surprised that red and blue isn't around to see what giovann is up to even ethan and brandan (well even though brandan never met giovanni in person)
And his ruthless thirst ways for pure power AKA pure strength is also even more insane as well as: off the charts and then beyond, even if it also truly means over and over again

Understandable for Plasma over Flare since they oppose him more as competitors for the same goal. But fact the group KNOW where Plasma's hideout is yet do nothing to drive them out given Ghetsis' evil is worrying.
