What I like about this season is that the show managed to rescue some of the teamwork that we had in the older seasons, and also the interaction between the characters that was lost.

Two things I thought were cool about the ep:
Kevin calls Torres "Osh" for Ocean, his 50-21 Ocean designation.
And how Torres says "five-zero-two-one ocean" when he found the car instead of "fifty-twenty-one ocean."
I'm liking the new guy. I like when he doled out that street justice to his neighbourhood bully.
Thanks cuz I watched the episode 2x, and didn't pick up on what Osh meant. I KNEW from his one episode last year, he was brilliant on it & by the end, he lays into Jay, telling him, "Why should I trust you?!?!" He's definitely smart & caught Jay tailing him home. BUT the whole episode, he never answered Jay's question from the beginning, "Why do u want to be cop?!" BUT...b4 leaving he tells Jay why, "That the last time he called the police due to his mom getting beating (not sure if he said it was his dad, I think it was a boyfriend) that they waited 4 hours!!!!! AND he also thinks that he would make a great cop. I think it was beating this man was why he was sent to juvy?! I was actually disappointed that he wasn't on another episode. BUT...I was EXCITED when I saw that he was coming on the show. He's like no other character & what he brings to the show!!!!
That episode where Torres went straight beast mode on that guy was 🔥. He had to give the new crews a refresher on why his block was off limits.
@@tinad7484 YEA ...I totally agree!!!!! I DIDN'T THINK he had a choice!!!!! A) To keep his family, especially his mom safe!!!! B) To also keep his neighborhood safe!!!!!! THAT just b/c they now thought they had an upper hand,. it was brutal I'm NOT gonna lie, but in his shoes, it was being protective for anyone who they were now going to try and prey on.
I thought it was interesting, that he took his badge and everything off related to be a cop. I feel like this is a bad comparison, and honestly only something I've seen on shows or in the movies, when ppl are sent to prison, they have to show they're dominance in fighting to NOT become preyed upon.
I like Torres too. I just don’t understand why he is absent from so many episodes.

I absolutely love kim burgess so much she been badass since season one of Chicago PD my favorite actress in the whole universe because she always gives outstanding performances on Chicago PD and this episode was by far my favorite episode ever in my opinion ❤❤❤❤❤

smh - 2 blocks away and still couldn't help. That's a shame.😔
I wish they would add more casts. If you compare it with S4, each detective used to have a personal vendetta with their friends and family who dragged them through the mud.
Now there is too much force on Hailey, and the others are leftovers. The plot is hard to stomach too. No side stories of officers patrolling.
When was the last time they have done a crossover with Chicago fire, med?
That's new, that intelligence cars have sirens. Because in the past, no sirens.
Chicago PD's not the same without Jay

I live here in Chicago and first of all, there ain't no parking garage on Addison & Western. Second of all, when Torres and Atwater were going West on Roscoe, the Sears Tower was directly behind them which is way off. The Sears Tower is at least 5 miles South and would be in line with Harrison, Jackson or Van Vuren......... Otherwise, a fantastic scene. lol

Women Power: Kim and Hayley should have more scene together right along with Trudy. Kim needs to talk about what happened to her and her feelings to someone maybe she can talk to Kevin sense they're best friends and all.
