For anyone who cannot get Zotero to appear in their Word ribbon: you need to enable the add-on in BOTH the Zotero 'Preferences>Citations' and 'Tools>Add-Ons' sections.

Hi Simon. In Zotero, go to Tools>Add-ons and make sure the Zotero Word For Windows Integration is turned on. Then restart your Word program and you should see it

Do you have the manually fill in the details of the reference ?

If you have the Zotero add-on for your Internet browser then you can download the citation from the NCBI website. This way you do not have to fill in the reference details yourself
