    You are a wonderful instructor because you take the time to explain and illustrate better than most. The illustration on the bed jacket is a good example of what I mean. Thank you.

    Laura - this is so BEAUTIFUL! Talk about glamour! Your tips are amazing! Great job explaining how to cut and piece the faux fur strips- it looks seamless (literally!)! Love that you show how to sew the fur to the black Cuddle also. I've never heard of sewing a "dimple" on the curve- that's great too. And your hand stitching tricks at the end look easy to do! The little collar is elegant, fun and adorable too! Hugs! and THANK YOU! Ellen

    Laura,.....awesome video! How about making a hat to go with this if you have left over fur? That would be awesome to have with the Wrap too. Would be a great thing to wear when going out on New Years.....or you could make an all white one for a bride for winter weddings etc. ( if you could find fur to trim ( in your bridesmaids dress colors ) you could make a Wrap for each one of your attendants for that cold winter wedding!!!

    Where was this when I volunteered to make a wrap for my friend's daughter for her wedding? How hard can it be, I asked myself? 😨 So, without a pattern I set out to make that wrap. I used ivory minky, ivory satin and ivory wedding lace to match the wedding gown. It's a good thing I'm not a drinker. 😅 It turned out to be beautiful, but that's the first and last one I'm making. The minky was the lining to keep the bride warm. It sounded like a good idea. 😂 Anyway I love your wrap. Not lining it was a very wise decision. Champagne for everyone! 🥂

    • @Sharon-pb7so
      @Sharon-pb7so 5 лет назад +1

      PS.... If you want to make money, make a few of those in off white and sell them to winter brides. They'll pay plenty for such a wonderful wrap. I'd charge at minimum $200 each. My friend's lucky I love her daughter, I did hers for free. 💕

    If you sew a seam with some fur trapped in & creates a bald spot along the seam, like you mention here 6:58
    I was wondering can I use a brush to release the fur from the seam or will that create any even up worse problem.
    I'm asking because I've brought a faux fur jacket at the thrift its awesome but on one side of the jacket's collar theres a section of fur that was sew into the seam, thought I should ask before I do anything.
