So how do I make you a local photographer frand?! :D Awesome tips btw, checking out the Milanote thing. Planning a shoot for a cafe near eau claire on saturday :D
One of the things I’ve always appreciated about you is how resourceful you are, you’ve always found interesting ways to find ways to elevate your photos. I always learn something from you!
Irene, you are a true artist. No ego whatsoever and consistently producing superior images. Wow! Thanks for the inspiration you are to so many of us. :)
I am impressed with your delivery, diction, and with the level of detail you go into on each facet. Moreover, I truly appreciate you taking the time, and putting in the truly hard work it takes in providing your audience this video and great links, as well.
The props and DIY advice is so true. I recently started investing more in flowers, baskets, unique accessories for my photos and it makes such a huge difference. A lot of the times when the model doesn't know how to pose, you can easily use a prop to guide him/ her through the photoshoot. Thank you for being so inspiring! Loving all your content and always looking forward for more!
Not many "10 tips" videos can pump up the viewer, but this one did for me. Well done. You didn't go down the usual one or two rabbit holes (such as lighting, modifiers, etc.) but covered an amazing range of topics that can inspire us ordinary photographers. And your skill in crafts is right up there with your skill as an artist and photographer. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. A fan is now on my shopping list.
I love tip number 7 very very much. Very few youtubers show direct side by side comparison of great photos (not test photos) taken from both a budget camera and a high-end camera. I really appreciate you because of that
I agree with many of the others, your tips are so original and fun and inspiring! Thank you for sharing these.... my biggest take away, do things that are scary! I really need to do this more! You are so awesome...
I enjoy all of your videos and have followed you for years but this may be my favorite so far. So many good, practical tips for improving photography. Thanks so much for putting together!
Loved tip number 7. I always felt discouraged for not being able to afford the best gearbox seeing your comparisons and your photos from the rebel definitely puts me at ease
Irene i just found yiur channel and it's a m a z i n g .. I've took photography as a hobby for years now i think it's time to level cuz many people told me why u don't start a business already
Irene you are such an inspiration! I want to get out of my comfort zone and try new things. Thanks so much, your tips are so helpful; please keep creating your tips and tutorials.
i'm impressed by the simplicity and minimalism of your setup in contrst of the quality of portraits. absolutely amazed great work !!! without 239283928w lights and 2398239 accessories. I also notice the quality build of the lens and camera... this is something expensive but i understund
Brilliant tips videos both of them ,, you are my favourite Photograher to watch on you tube by a long way ,, i am always glad when i see u have made a new video ,, thanks for being you :)
Thank you for your video! Very interesting ideas! Also, I will concur that Photographer groups are great! I wanted to learn how to better capture Portraiture, and so I contacted a group through Meetup, and the organizer of that group is now one of my better friends. I've learned so much from him, and met more models willing to work with me on TFP shoots. So, I wholeheartedly recommend Tog groups!
These videos are so helpful! I'm starting photography a little later than some. I'm in my late 30s and have had a carrer in cosmetology for 17 years but I'm ready for a change. I'm definitely dealing with imposter syndrome with photography and I'm introverted so it's going to be tough but I'm also so excited and would love to find some photography friends. Thanks for all the tips!
Hi Irene, how do handle models who are wearing glasses? How to avoid reflections in the glasses? Can you do a video on this subject or give a workable reference? Thanks!
What camera should one buy to do self portraits? My basic eosd1100 does have the autophoto with some seconds delay but I cannot connect the camera to a different screen like a mobile phone or tv screen to see myself while it does the photo, nor does it have a separate button or app for phone to press to do the photos when I want it.
Wow! What an incredible video. I love your content. Gonna check out more now. Thank you. I'm just getting into photography. I'm planned to have my first two portrait gigs this week and came on here looking for tips for them. I've known about the colour wheel, but this is the first time I really saw chartreuse and vermillion. I sketched patterns into my notebook. The idea of meeting and photographing strangers on the street really intrigued me too.
