      Exactly! A noise of disbelief and outrage escaped me when I heard those words. No offense to anyone but when I heard that the police were trying to reawaken "repressed memories", I knew these kids were going to be wrongly accused. It should've been very clear before that, that these kids were making stuff up and it never witnessed anything. I'm so sorry that these kids and their family had to go through that. Not to mention Kevin's family going through additional, unneeded pain and confusion. I'm glad that at least the families involved found some degree of peace.

    • @nopamineLevel100
      @nopamineLevel100 2 года назад

      Yeah I thought the same thing, it's like using 'truth serum'. It's so easy to implant memories, even unintentionally and use leading questions to influence the answers from the accused. A lot of these repressed memory techniques are just pseudoscience resulting in confirmation bias for the investigators.

      @@SpicyTexan64You don't know that and the amount of times that children have been given false memories by child services and police around that period is high. It obviously seemed like a good idea at the time which later blew up in the faces of many. A lot of people's lives have been ruined because of it, innocent people accused of things they didn't even do.
      As seen so many times, someone gets a thought in their head about a crime and they twist the case completely to fit their narrative, including failing to follow other leads that include different people.
      How many innocent people are in prison and how many innocent people have been executed?

      Felix or Jamal which is his real name.
      Yes I do think it was him and the police kind of knew but dident wanna look like a bunch xenophobic fascists they persued the mind ghost theory of the head of investigstion.
      Jamal had at least two times r-word or try to r-word two miner boys. And it's a culture thing, just watch "The Kite Runner"
      In Sweden it's called cod 291.
      The police keep the facts about refugee crimes secret
      Under the code "291", the police keep secret investigations into violence, threats and other crimes that can be linked to the refugee wave, writes Dagens Nyheter. No cases are submitted to the media. "Nothing should go out", it says in an internal directive with the police.
      * SvD *
      _Updated 2016-01-20_
      _Published 2016-01-20_
      The police keep the facts about refugee crimes secret
      This article has been revived on social media and is being shared extensively right now. However, we want to make our readers aware that the article is old.
      Previously, SvD has been able to report that the police in Stockholm have received internal directives not to report alerts when a crime is committed. In the letter, the press manager in Stockholm emphasizes that the police can be perceived as racist and that it should therefore not report information to the public.
      Dagens Nyheter now writes that the police also refuse to say how much resources are used to handle the refugee wave and the increasingly tense situation in many asylum accommodation.
      The National Operations Department, NOA, is leading the "Alma" operation, which concerns everything from border controls to law enforcement linked to the influx of refugees. All regions within the police have allocated staff to work with "Alma".
      As early as 26 October 2015, emergency calls for alarms about violence, threats, arson and other crimes at the Swedish Migration Agency's accommodation had become so extensive that Noah introduced a special so-called code of conduct for all cases “concerning the migrant situation” - code 291.
      Any report where the plaintiff, the suspect or an interrogator is a migrant must now be marked with the special code.
      But no information about the cases for that code is provided to the media.
      - The police authority makes the assessment that the information is working material, says press secretary Stephan Ray to DN.
      He says that assessment is unusual and that "normally there are no problems" for the media to have access to similar information.
      DN has read an internal directive to the police's communicators. The document, which has never been recorded, states the following:
      Regarding resource code 291 which has become known to the media. The code is used as working material for the daily situation picture. The daily picture of the situation is classified, so what is written there should not be disclosed /.../ Nothing should be published on paper regarding the Alma command as long as it is ongoing.

    Too many people are going on the misguided assumption that all children are innocent and incapable of harboring feelings of anger or violence.
    These two sound no different to Jon Venebales and Robert Thompson. It may have been the first time in modern Swedish history two juveniles were accused of murder, but it wasn’t the first time in either Swede history nor even recent history that it’s happened. Children can absolutely be detached from an incident like another kid in their neighborhood or school being killed to the point of talking about it in a very bizarre and insensitive manner. But kids can also start on the path to violent crime early, too. The fact that one of the two boys was divulging details that fit before the kids body was even found is too suspicious. This doesn’t seem like a West Memphis 3 scenario, it sounds like Swedish authorities just mishandled a case where they had two viable suspects that happened to be minors.

    Also Kevin’s family deserves the scrutiny they received for allowing a FOUR YEAR OLD to wander unattended in any way. That is neglect. That is why the child fell victim to whomever killed him. Just because people are grieving doesn’t mean they should be granted every allowance known to man and that their shitty parenting should be ignored. What kind of idiot let’s a four year old wander loose? He could have easily drowned on accident in the water if he wasn’t murdered. Gotten hit by a car. Anything. It’s pure negligence to let a child that’s months older than what we classify as a toddler wander around town with no chaperone. His mother SHOULD be ashamed.

      They should be jailed for child neglect and abandonment pure and simple, they caused their child's murder so should also be charged with accessory to murder
