I have been on a Paleo diet for about 17 years. Recently I have had a lot of stress and a number of food sensitivities, etc. I am currently on a low FODMAP elimination diet. After "hitting the wall" out of frustration at the beginning of the week. I realized that I really needed to focus on finding recipes and a variety of foods to eat. Great suggestions! But as someone who has purchased a lot of these items before, they can be quite costly. Not sure everyone can afford the brands suggested. What should people be prioritizing if on a budget and want to do Keto? Nitrates? Sustainable? Ethical treatment? Organic? Etc.
I need to know the answer to these questions, also. I've had diets fail before due to not being able to afford the specialty foods.

@@candiceteeter9757 True, the actual trick to keto, from what I have been reading, is making sure to actually count one's macros and take in the number of grams they need for their caloric needs. Many people like organic foods because they do not like all the additives in normal foods. Frankly, I cannot blame them. Some studies have shown a possible link between these additives and dementia causing diseases, such as Alzheimer's. Still, there is not a lot of research on that, yet. Honestly, if I could afford to eat solely organic keto foods, I likely would. That being said, I fall into the category of people whose financial means simply excludes that. For us, I return to my prior statement. Focus on the total grams one needs for each macronutrient to o0btain their caloric needs.
@@candiceteeter9757 Dr. Westman is such a blessing to the budget-minded who are starting keto! Thanks for sharing this - some people might not have heard of him yet! It's so much simpler than alot of people realize. No counting anything, just refer to his "Page 4"

Don't worry about all the organic, grass fed, etc etc etc blah, blah , blah. Not necessary. Just keep tatal xarbs at 20 or less.ook up Dr Eric Westman, MD at Duke with "low carb" clinic for 20 years. Most of his patients CAN'T afford such.
I love all of these products!!
Thanks for giving alternatives to Amazon. Great content in your videos. Just discovered you. What about mackerel?
Thank you! I haven't tried mackerel before. But that would be just fine.
I live in Sweden...we don't have all these products in our store...have to order through Internet. Thanks for the tips!🕺
Good information. Thanks!
New to Keto, so this was very helpful. Thank you.

Ooo those bone broth pouches look great! I’ll have to check them out! -Emily
They are so awesome! Seriously, my favorite in between meal beverage and so satisfying! Costco carries a brand too that I like (in pouch form). It's called Lono Life, I think.
KetoFocus thanks for the info! The kettle & fire broth is great but I’m looking for another option! ❤️
@@ketotwins You will love the Bare Bones instant stick packs - easier, less expensive, and same nutrition profile.
Ryan Harvey awesome! Thank you!

Love you & your information. Music is ok but turn it down it is distracting us contracting on hearing you. God bless you.
Where do you buy jars you keep your nuts in. Love the labels too. Love all your suggestions. What do you think of Lily chocolate that sweetened with only stevia?
Thank you so much for all of this! You're brilliant. I love you.
Such good advice. Thank you!! Life saver!
Great ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Check if you have a Grocery Outlet near you. I saw the Moon Cheese there. And there is a whole aisle of healthy choices.
Just now discovering you channel. Great content! I'm just getting started with Keto. Wondering what is a good brand of pork rinds? So far I have not found one I like.
The subtitles on this are so funny! IThey clearlycan't hope with your accent ( which is lovely btw, especially to a British ear).
Hi I love your channel, but have a question about pork rinds: aren't they deep fried? I worry the frying oils are nasty ones....
Bone broth is the only thing I could tolerate while going through Chemotherapy for stomach cancer
Bone broth is so healing to the gut. I need to remind my mom to drink that. She is going through chemo right now too. She has stage IV colon cancer. Prayers to you. 🙏
@@KetoFocus prayers to your Mother also.. God bless her and take her cancer away
Hope Your Feeling Better
Thank you! Have you tried Ketonia macaroons? So good.
You can also make the pepperoni chips in the microwave, takes about 30-45 seconds for a single layer between paper towel sheets.
In Texas many restaurants fry up pork skins and they are delicious with guacamole!
Good tip using the cheese chips when in your salad. 👌🏾
Hello what was the name of that flour, you made pizza with can not remember name ,thanks Peter
I love your videos! Thank you.
Thanks Colette!! 😘
I need to be able to buy products in the store, are any of these in the stores, or are they just Amazon?? Btw, new to your channel and LOOOOVING IT!! THANK YOU!
Glad you are liking the channel! I have seen that brand of tuna and the moon cheese at Costco. A couple grocery stores around me sell the Chomps beef sticks and the moon cheese.
@@KetoFocus darn, I was more interested in the broth, protein powder, Choc Zero products, and the PORK RINDS... (every time you show those my mouth waters, the rinds). LOL! I made your Italian meatballs the other night, EXCELLENT, can't wait to make many more of your recipes. I even started a new save to list just for these videos. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for all the suggestions! Good info.
Thanks Susan! Glad you liked the video!
