    Canned Tuna salad wraps. Canned tuna with chopped celery and onions a hard boiled egg and avocado mashed and mixed together in a bowl. Add a Table spoon of mayo and a t spoon of mustard. I then picked up some egg white wraps ( tortilla style ) and make two tuna wraps with some pickle slices and a few pork rinds with tapatillo on the side for keto lunch/snack.

    If it's not been mentioned, Pork Rinds are great to use as breading, instead of bread crumbs.....like for Chicken Parmesan and such.

    Make your own jerky in your oven.
    Cut the roast thin
    Apply dry rub seasoning
    lay out on oven rack
    Set oven to lowest temp and prop slightly open with a spoon.
    Make a couple pounds of jerky for like $10 and a few hours of wait time

    For those complaining about "well rEAL kETO" listen, not everyone is doing the intense version of keto . We're humans, we like to indulge. Y'all make it seem like it's the only thing they are gonna eat. They are called "snacks" for a reason. On top of exercising im sure the person will still be perfectly fine.       I have to try that! Queso dip and doritos use to kill me, I craved it so bad. Now I eat "off the eaten path brand chickpea veggie chips" with guacamole, but pork rinds sound great.

    Try dropping a cube of cheese onto a hot non stick griddle until it browns and gets a tad crispy. You can drop a shard of bacon, ham, or pepperoni on top of it. Great chewy snack hot or cold but better hot.

    I buy the large size of most everything. I have also invested in a lot of Ziploc snack size bags.
    I portion out the whole container of whatever I have. It's all in a box and I grab and go. Works perfectly for me.

    I can't handle the parmesan crisp as a snack so what I do is I crumble them up over some salmon and bake the salmon and it's a nice parmesan crusted fish

      They are way too salty and I felt bad for buying three bags of them in preparation for going on this diet before trying them first. I don't like fish but I will definitely try your idea on some chicken.

      Whisps last a very long time for me. They are extremely tart to my taste. I can only eat 2 or 3 at a time then I have to close the bag and put away. I call it 'having the shivers' run down the jaw line when you eat it. If you like tart you will love Whisps -- especially the parmesan flavor. Those caused me to shudder. Great flavor, just super tart in my mouth.

    When it comes to cheese crisps, you can make your own, for a fraction of packaged product.
    You can use almost any cheese you like.
    Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper, then shred the cheese you choose. Bake at 350 degrees farenhiet until crisp. Watch closely. Baking time varies on the type of cheese and fat content.

    Great Video! This was so helpful. I started Keto 8 days ago and have lost 8 lbs. so far. But I really miss my raspberry Pop Tarts, french fries, and just a good old slice of cheese toast on white bread. Then I found this video a couple of hours ago. As soon as it finished, the wife and I went straight to Wal-Mart and dropped a quick $100.
    The best finds I bought:
    1. Those Mac's pork skins are an amazing deal. I'm loaded up and the value was much better than my regular grocery store.
    2. Those Quest Protein Bars. WOW! The chocolate brownie is pretty good but you were right. That birthday cake is off the chain!
    3. For those who said Wal-Mart needs a KETO aisle. In the health section, find the Atkins stuff. I have 18 bottles of Atkins protein shakes at around 2-3 carbs per bottle.
    4. The wife loaded up on those P3 Protein Packs.
    Between the Quest bars and the Atkins shakes, I can handle my sweet cravings. Tonight was a great night. Thank you!

      Sorry, but there's no way you lost 1 pound per day. You'd have to eat nothing, and burn twice the normal number of calories, both. If you did, it was water weight. Just don't get discouraged if you don't keep losing at that rate.

    I like the Quest PB protein cookies.
    Also, for anyone with a horrible sweet tooth like me... I love Halo Top in cookies and cream or PB cup flavor and drizzled in peanut butter and topped with Lily's stevia sweetened chocolate chips.
    I eat it every night because I cannot give up dessert.

      I loved the stuff until I saw that it has bio-enginered ingredients in it. Now I just blend heavy cream, monk fruit and vanilla into a Mason Jar and freeze it. Turning every two hours until frozen.

    Dude, you are a literal lifesaver. Still at the beginning week of keto and it is hard! I am so used to pasta and bread being such a core part of my diet. I love these snack Ideas because they seem like ways I can indulge in my old eating habits without ruining my diet in these trying times. These snacks may just be what push me past the first 2 weeks and into my body and mind getting used to keto. Again thank you so much, I wasn't aware I had such variety and you really helping me out.

    Some of my favorites are olives, kosher dill pickles, Pepperoncini, baking nuts (plain almonds, pecans, walnuts) hard boiled eggs sprinkled with Tony Chachere's Famous Creole Seasoning and my favorite thing of all... David ORIGINAL Sunflower seeds.

    In the diabetic section of the pharmacy area you can find all kinds of sugar free, low net carb candy. Butterscotch drops, chocolate all kinds of stuff

      Just be careful when first eating sugar free candies. 3 pieces are usually the max. After that you gonna wish you stayed near the bathroom. Seeing stevia doesn't mean that is the only alternative sweetener used.

I would add to your Wal-Mart low-carb list: 1) Sam's Swiss Dark Chocolate 90% Cocoa Bar with 1 net carb per 3 squares; 2) Russell Stover's Sugar Free (made with Stevia extract) Caramel Bar with 1 net carb per 3 squares. Two squares with coffee are a good snack for me. The Sam's bar was less than $2.00; the Russell Stover's was around $2.68.

      L ocke don’t worry about too much protein. I’m a T2 diabetic female and eat 120g of protein per day and it does not affect my blood sugar or my ability to lose weight. I remain in Ketosis. In fact 100K plus people in Ketogains eat that much protein or more and lose weight every day.

    Just to add Costco carries protein chips and Whisps. You can also get sugar free jerky and Archer brand beef sticks which are made from grass fed beef. You get more for your money there if you have a membership.

      Tuna in water(drained) mix with two eggs, whip up and fry on a pan like pancakes... Top with mayo or other keto friendly condiments. This was a staple in my Mex fam growing up and it's keto friendly. Do not knock it till you try it. Please. ☝🏻😅♥️

      eating keto i have eaten over 40, 000 mg of sodium in a weekend. so people like me need low sodium options! lol and daily if i dont have low sodium options i eat over 10k just eating 1800 calories. so yes we need lower sodium stuff.

      @@UnknownUnknown-yl1lt electrolyte minerals help your brain and nerves communicate, if your getting leg cramps or spasams you probably need magnesium but possibly potassium and sodium etc. as well since they act together in the body for specific functions. I like the EMdrops off Amazon, they are super concentrated drops you add to water and seem pricey but last a long time compared to other brands. If you have a head ache it may be dehydration and lack of minerals. Fatigue can even be a sign of mineral imbalance. It's pretty interesting to read about keto or not IMO.

    I like my keto root beer floats! Sometimes at night before bed I get a sweet tooth. Diet A&W root beer with a splash of half and half or heavy whipping cream! If I'm feeling sassy, I'll top with a squirt of whipped cream from the can ☺

    Microwaving the birthday cake Quest Bar for 20 seconds on a dinner plate flattens it out like a cookie. I don't know why, but I love it even more like that.
    My favs: Duke's Shorty Sausages
    Two Good yogurt (3 grams per container)
    So Delicious No Sugar Added Butter Pecan Ice Cream
    Mini guacamole packs (portion control!)

    Yep jello instant pudding mix ! 2 pkgs & 1qt of half and half , use a hand mixer it stiffens up pretty quick , caution ! On portion control ! Ya it's that good ! 😋

    I like to make my own chocolate barks. Using keto chocolate chips(Lilly's)
    add about a cup of chocolate chips a cup of heavy cream to a bowl and microwave until chocolate melts. Mix well, add some coconut oil, mix well again, speard on parchment paper, add shredded coconut, sliced almond, and some chopped up berries on top
    then freeze until hardened. Taste amazing! 🙂

      Be selective when choosing those seasonings - maltodextrin is not uncommon in those things (not deadly, but -iffy, some folks get a glucose spike). Of course, you're using so little, it may not matter. But pay attention.

    Just starting with the low carb / Keto Diet. So confused, and messing up on my carb count at times. Not understanding what I can and can't eat has been a bit frustrating.       Most people eat less than 50 carbs per day, others under 20. When calculating carbs, subtract out the fiber to get your net carbs.

    I honestly want to say thank you for this!! I am getting into the Keto diet and nervous because by 11am I'm already wanting a "snack" or around 2:30pm and now I see these yummy snacks that I plan on getting so I am READY!!! I myself love salty foods especially Olives!!! lol

    For my sugar free jello I use the great value sugar free whipped cream on top . So good and the enlightened marshmallow peanut butter ice cream so creamy. I also cut up cold peeled cucumbers and put salt lemon and tajin. These are my go to snacks from walmart.

      Shining Dragon keep up with it man. The first few weeks can be a little rough getting adjusted to low to no carbs/sugar but it gets a lot easier. If anything it’s taught me that I really enjoy avocados and other veggies I wasn’t eating before

    For the Jello, just because it has 0 Carbs in it, you also need to look at the Ingredients too, to see what they put in it, for the Sweetner.

    The whisps are good...my favorites are the parmesan and the bacon cheddar...a good snack when you want salty chips
    And everyone complaining about salt...while in keto you have to replace electrolytes..your not only loosing weight...your loosing electrolytes..you will become dehydrated if you don't

    Another couple of items I found is a large Value sized Great Value bag of pepperoni. Its about 5 or 6 dollars but it lasts for a really long time if your being moderate. Cheese sticks are a great pair for them. Personally I don't care much for pork rinds on their own or unseasonably so I've also found that some dips such as French onion dip and guacamole there are low in carbs in moderation and great to pair with them. :)

    Thank you for turning me on to the entire Quest brand! The protein bars and shakes are amazing and I'm ready to try the protein chips and pizza now! Also I'm stocked up on Whisps.     Atkins cookies and creme bar is only 4 net carbs and omg is it heavenly!! Taste exactly like an oreo and has a slight hint of protein, but not overpowering.

      Yeah I keep a box in the car for work. Portion control and easy. I also pick up macadamia nuts when on sale. Walmart usually has the Atkins bars on sale.

    You can purchase the original Parmesan cheese Whisps at Costco for under $6 , it's a pretty big bag and put them on my Cesar salad!😋

    I have the same issue with portion control, so when I get a bag, can or box of anything I immediately open them and weigh out servings into snack bags that way I can grab and go without trying to figure out how much I just consumed.

      Yes, my family does the same thing. We use the small zip lock bags and will buy the huge containers of nuts, and then will go home and weigh out the nut portions and break them down into the ziplocks, takes a bit of extra time in putting groceries away, but it makes them grab and go snacks for the family.

      Fresh whipped cream ( pour heavy cream in a grease free glass or metal bowl which has been chilled. Chill your wisk or beaters as well. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla and whip on high til peaks form. Add hersheys SUGAR FREE chocolate syrup and slice strawberries, blueberries or blackberries! Yum!

    Loved this video; great job. I would purchase everything but the sugar free gelatin, it's made with aspartame and food dyes. Best to go with a high quality dark chocolate for a dessert. 😊

    Target sells the Quest chips in a four pack for $7.99. That’s the best deal unless you buy the 8 pack, which is sometimes stocked at my local Vitamin Shoppe, but usually has to be ordered online. Sometimes they’ll have BOGO50, and I stock up. The taco flavor is my personal favorite.

    You can make your own cheese crisps. All you need is cheese slices, parchment paper and 2 minutes in a microwave. Much cheaper.

    I make my own cheddar cheese chips....Put cheddar cheese on a pan, heat it, once it gets all soft and gooey, cut the fire and let it cool down.

    Protein seems pretty high in a lot of these “keto” snacks. My favorite snack is found at Dollar General, they’re Bridgford All Natural Smokehouse Sausage Sticks. Per 6oz package, you have 7 servings at 11g fat, 7g protein, and 1g carbs for under $4, those are awesome macros! You could eat the 6oz pack for an entire meal for a total of 77g fat, 49g protein, and 7 net carbs, it doesn’t get much easier than that.
