That little kid strangling a female cop. With that cheesy metal music. This is the 1st thing I remember when recalling all of the RoboCop movies. Hob is one of the best characters in Robocop. At the time of this films release it was very controversial. With many critics and audiences condemning it. Being shocked & mortified. But this is the reality of gang violence and the underworld. Even in war! Believe it or not, but many members that are recruited into this life are just mere children. That have become brainwashed into criminals & ruthless killers. An some children are just born evil & psychotic. Prime examples Henry Hill in Goodfellas, Lil Dice & Benny in City of God, Smiley in Sin Nombre, Ciro Di Marzio in Immortale. Just cuz you dont want to hear or believe something doesnt mean its not true.
Batman hangs you from high buildings and occasionally bangs your head on a table. RoboCop just beats the crap out of you and throws you into everything in the room.

Yeah, he should've been fired by SGT. Reed right about now after Murphy beat the daylights outta Duffy, although it's against his protocol not to assault a fellow Police officer, but he does have a good point. Duffy is as he said he was, a rotten cop who sold them out.
The place reminds me of the Foot Clan hideout from the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie...or the monster underworld from “Little Monsters”.
It's certainly a cool looking bad guy hideout much like the Foot Clan's lair in the TMNT movie. It has arcade games, a snack bar and other things......
Yeah, but this arcade doesn't even have N.A.R.C.!!
Azrial Alaria oooh, I love N.A.R.C.!
Didn’t you know? Those were the hip places to hang out in the ‘80’s and the early ‘90’s! Especially for wayward kids! Nowadays they’re called “Dave and Busters” and you gotta be at least 21 or older to go in without an adult of that age or older. But yeah I felt the same when I first saw that scene.
They both came out the same year, too.
Lol that kid was in Star Trek TNG and played the role of an innocent kid. Way different than this
Gabriel Damon's a fine actor. He was also on "The Commish" tv show and was in Tequila Sunrise with Michelle Pfeiffer
I think I remember that episode. Wasn't that the one when homegirl had a baby and it grew up super fast?
@@jasonserna8762 no it was the one where his mom was accidentally killed and the entity that did it felt bad and posed as his mom.
no that was 'the child' from season 2. good episode though.
Gabriel Damon was also in the land before time as littlefoot too..
The Data East product placement is cool. They made the Robocop video game.
Love the neon in this scene!
I used to play Bad Dudes in the skating rink. Data East was the premier game developer back then. Good times

Too bad. That looked like a cool place to hang out. I miss the old arcades.
Gabriel Damon should have won an Oscar for this film.
Don't get me wrong, he was great... but not THAT great.
I Like Him Better In "The Land Before Time (1988)"
@Giorgos He was the best thing about the film.
Wouldn't go that far. And he's the sole reason I even watched it
3:17-Officer Duffy have a seat 😂😂😂
3:16
3:31 You sold us out, Officer Duffy!
“Come on Duffy I know you need it.”
I've been watching both this movie and Seinfeld multiple times throughout the 90s, and I just saw that the actor who plays Officer Duffy is the same guy who plays the irritating cabinet installer who renovates Jerry's kitchen! How did I miss that?!
“Good eyes Murphy”
Murphy: “Good as money could buy”
Me: “I’ll gladly buy that for a dollar”
Isn’t it a school day? Kids throw trash at Robocop 😂😂😂
Never have I seen such disrespect kids throwing trash at a officer.
3:16 Officer Duffy...have a seat.
3:30 You sold us out, Officer Duffy.
As scary as the scene where duffy gets his is.....he had it coming
but the vivisection is too much (even Hobbs likely isn't willing to do anything like that.)
Robocop voice:isnt this a school day lol...this was when data east konami etc ran the arcades during the 90s...
Also Data East did RoboCop arcade games 👍
@@mikereyes2488 truth and 💯….👍👍
Totally brings back the 90's!! Arcades!!!
That little kid strangling a female cop. With that cheesy metal music. This is the 1st thing I remember when recalling all of the RoboCop movies. We still have main stream fictional violence depicted on media today. But back in the day it was darker and more shocking than modern attempts. Rob Zombie and some others excluded.
The music makes this scene bad ass
@@sicwititdimeful 4 years later I reply, a little busy, lol = Babylon A.D.s song, The Kid Goes Wild. I was there, long hair and all, age 19. Good times.
The way ROBOCOP asked the whereabouts of Cain, there were times I wish The Undertaker from WWE back in 1997 could've done the same thing to Paul Bearer when he mentioned Kane was coming to WWE.
"WHERE IS KAAAANE?!!"
😂😂😂
"You look a little out of breath bitch"ha ha ha
(robocop steps on Duffy and said) robocop:"you sold us out, officer Duffy!"

RIP Data East arcade machines
3:11 Clever product placement with all the Data East games in the background. (Data East at the time was the first game company to make Robocop Arcade Games during the '80s.)

the kid goes wild
Glad to see Robo in top form in rouge city
Now I know if I ever choke someone I have to say “You Look a little out of breath bitch”! 😂😂
I'd like to say that in jiu jitsu class
I guess Murphy was doing Bad Cop, Robocop.
Bad Dudes did not deserve that
Also, a different game is being played in that Bad Dudes cabinet.
Robocop gives Batman a #RunForHisMoney.
Batman hangs you from high buildings and occasionally bangs your head on a table. RoboCop just beats the crap out of you and throws you into everything in the room.
The first draft of this was written by Frank Miller, they changed a lot for shooting.
this statement is very funny when you realise that Peter Weller voiced Batman in the Dark knight Returns
@connextro "robocop is owned by marvel"
Not anymore; Robocop is now owned by Amazon (which bought MGM).
Robocop:"Officer Duffy, have a seat!" (Robocop pushes Duffy)
Forgotten Weapons finally did a video about the UC-9. I don't care if it's pointless, I still want one.
Ahh,the boom box gun.
Robocop goes from funny to smashing a guys face in an arcade real quick
Robocop rocks
Who's only here for a look at the oldskool arcade?
"Isn't this a school day".
Me, as a college student: i got classes two days a week. Its my day off
Poor Bad Dudes arcade cabinet 😢
Anyone else notice that Duffy attempted to punch Robocop, with obvious results
But I'll admit, I admire the attempt
Plus,he lasted longer in the interrogation than the gun store robber.
That kid can bury a recoil from a .50 Desert Eagle.
Gabriel Damon is the actor, retired.
He’s a real estate broker lately.
"The Kid Goes Wild" is a pretty rad song!
The one part of this scene that still makes me laugh to this day was when Murphy grabbed Duffy by his face and Duffy stupidly punched Murphy in the chest forgetting he has a titanium/kevlar laminated skin man talk about dumb but then again it was probably the nuke that fried his brain that he forgot about with Murphy.
I love the music. Who plays that song ?
Babylon AD - The Kid Goes Wild.

A good Irem classic (which was licensed to Data East in the US)
