When I was a kid the parking lot jump scene was the "F Ya" moment for me. Now that I'm older I'm pretty sure the car would bottom out and Robocop would be in the sewers somewhere.

However, most of the time they make him a walking tank just soaking the damage. This showed his speed.

And no more seedy background scenes. 4) very elaborate building/structural explosions replacing gunfight scenes 5) not a drop of blood in any scene
