Birthday Surprise, What Did I Get For My Model Railway?

Well folks I have made it to 60 despite getting Covid twice ! My Lovely Wife has treated me to this fantastic present . The Mightu Mallard Train Set. What a lucky boy I am ! #hornby #modelrailway

Since I live in the US it's harder to find hornby, but I've a good couple of find like a flying scotsman set and a hornby operating ore wagon set.

The HORNBY old mallard is stunning but (seeing as I own one) I will always prefer the wrenn one

Amazing present! For an 89' product it holds up very good! I honestly prefer Mallard in BR Green rather than LNER Garter Blue, bit tacky for me with the red wheels, BR Green is a perfect mixture between maintenance and beauty, especially the lined variant
