I was impressed by a middle school art teacher years ago who made "faces" in clay..it always stick in my mind and I have never forgotten the desire to try it myself.I am 61 now and finally have the time to experience and try do many things in the art realm that I couldn't before! Thank you for this great video! I was so glad to come across it and I think I may try to sculpt smaller versions in air dry or "Sculpy" clay..I'm so excited and inspired! I have recently taken up so many interests and it is wonderfully fulfilling, such as watercolor painting, small woodcrafting projects such as making a small sailboat and origami! SO much joy!
I'm just looking for a way to tackle making bas relief... not something I've tackled as yet and its hard to find an affordable class on this in UK. I'd roll out clay personally to aviod getting air trapped unless there is a viable reason not to if firing this in a kiln as a tile ... always welcome advice so please feel free and i really enjoyed watching face being made. Thank you so much for posting image created is amazing .
반갑습니다. 영상을 아름답게 잘 찍으셨네요. 저는 한국의 예술가 입니다. 앞으로 자주 방문할게요. Nice to meet you. You took a beautiful shot. I am a Korean artist. I'll visit often in the future.
Grazie!
Hi! I'm glad you like it! It has no name...I didn't copy a sculpture, it's an original subject, I just took inspiration and some references from photos.
This just proof how primitive and complete lack of perspective the Egyptians had. Was it not for the great statues and monuments the "inherited" from pre-flood times they were nothing.

Yes Kim, we all should 're-invent' ourselves, every few years. Kudos John 3:16
Hope your journey is going great
So nice to see people that are still so amazingly skilled
Your work is an inspiration. I like when you stop the time lapse and show your strokes. It gives a chance to learn how to use tools.
Thank you! I'll keep this for the next videos ;)
Nice work, is this clay dries, I get confused with which clay to buy and process…
Very nice really enjoy watching your videos thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
