I was the 5th one in the the world to buy a SmittyBilt SCOUT Trailer...it was a PAIN-N-THE-ASS to assemble, especially when you have to rewire the whole thing because it came with the wrong setup...I HIGHLY advise to buy it directly from a dealer already assembled. With ALL the issues I had with the service and assemble, they didn't offer me a SHITtybilt free tent or anything else.
If you know anything about off road trailers you’ll realize it worth every penny. I’ve own one for about a yr and it is awesome off road
I really want one of these but the assembly part is a big turnoff. Not to mention where it can be delivered to. I don't have a truck, so even if I have it delivered to a local warehouse, I still can't get it home to assemble lol. Also, as others have pointed out, what do I do with all the metal crate pieces? lol. Thanks for sharing.

you can tow it behind anything you want! Well, I wouldn't suggest a Prius, but it would look great behind a Scout.

Box it in with a wood box and custom finish it, as "My Bunkhouse". Then put your table, chairs and step ladder in it. :)

Do you have the smittybilt scout trailer and a RTT?
The added height allows for the addition of the "annex" under the RTT.
But PLEASE DON'T mount the tent off-center as shown. You need to have the RTT exactly centered on the support rack or you will bend and ruin the RTT support frame base.
I like these because they are constantly getting cheaper. There are people who are paying $24,000 dollars for little tow behinds! People are even paying as much as $40,000 for a tow behind. It blows my mind how they will pay as much or more than they paid for their new car for a tow trailer! It costs them $4,000 to build it and then they sell it to them for $25,000!! It amazes me how stupid some people are. It's nice to see that there are more and more companies coming out that are competing and bringing the prices way down. We looked at one a while back that was sold for $6,000 that was VERY nice and built like a beast!! Black Series builds nice trailers and are now being sold locally as well.

These "overland trailers" are for jack asses with no concept of money.
The hell, 750kg dry weight? Typical South african offroad trailer with 2 popups, 4 sleepers, toilet and shower have the same weight as this thing with just a roof tent.
