- After months of upgrading my Wall-E neck, arms and drive system, he finally gets his first test drive! Was it a success?? Or wasted months of R&D?? Let me know! ** I’m calling it a win ;-)
OMG is so good. Keep it up, you're doing a great work!
Thanks!
This is so cool
What are your plans for the suspension? Is it going to be passive or do you plan to add some controllable tilt, roll, and elevation to the body?
At the moment it will start as just a passive spring suspension. Then down the road I might add a front “lift/tilt”, but not full on elevation or multi axis roll or anything.
Well done! Looks great.
First
WoaaaWAAAAAALLLLLEEEEEEeeeiiiiyyyyy
Wow im super exited fo see him done!
This is so cool, like everyone else here, I would love to see this go further, definitely get some suspension so it doesn't shake, I love this project
Is that… gonzo in the top right?
Yes it is, good eye! I have the Master Replicas of Gonzo and Kermit 😀
Are you going to keep the track plastic or will you cast rubber truck?
It will stay with the tread caps that I created. I don’t want to go to all the trouble to do the castings for all the treads plus all the extra weight it would add.
Might need some shock absorbers there
Yeah, I mention in the video that I’ll be adding a suspension system. It will be next on the list.
Now program him to be kind
very nice, looks like an original, do u have schematic for this?
Literally looks like the movie!! Keep us updated for sure 👌
Beautiful work I think the wobble in the head works really well with his character.
I agree that it adds character but I think it might be a little too much. There will be no way to remove it totally because of the track drive, but I can make it a little smoother.
How many transmitter channels do you need for Wall-E am guessing 12?
Hey I got a question how tall is the wall-e?
