Such a genuine guy, my heart just about broke when he said, "Everybody could use two parents."
The highwaymen was awesome two gr8 actors on display no Bonnie and Clyde as people complain made it even better we have only heard that story a million times keeping it on the rangers was definitely the right idea

Just watched The Highwaymen a few days ago...one of the best films in my lifetime. It deserves multiple Oscar nominations.

Steve Fowler We’ve watched it twice! It’s a great movie..Kevin Costner and Woody made a good team. It was so well done with the focus on them and not so much on Bonnie and Clyde.
In terms of actors who might be thought of as American treasures, Woody would be up there with Morgan Freeman in my book. He's been killing it since Cheers and is just a good, down-to-earth person.
The Highwaymen was a fantastic movie BTW
One of the best actors out there. Very underestimated actor who always delivers. Just like the football player that gives a good pass and never takes the credit when the team scores.
Woody and Kevin nailed it in this. Superb acting and very historically accurate.
Frank Hamer was absolutely old west cowboy hero's not just on a silver screen. And Mauny was too.

I watched the movie because it was a story about 1930's America and Kevin Costner
Seems genuine, which is rare for an actor.
Anything he does I will watch.
He and Costner did fantastic in Highwaymen, Netflix really knows how to produce wonderful entertainment in ways that had almost been lost. Now all the rest need to pay attention on how best to do entertainment. Highwaymen still got all the feeling in the movie without being raunchy.
Woody is Cool.

The history probe was unnecessary, You don't do a piece on an individual and poke the injuries. Believe it or not, it is inappropriate to even bring it up. It is to my understanding that there was enough coverage about his father on media a decade ago.
I always liked Woody, but The Highwaymen was too long. Should have had more Bonnie & Clyde scenes. Then, the length of the film would have been ok.
