It's true. It sound like he's been practicing to do new things with it too. We've heard him change the pitch of his breath, add vibrato to it, and deliver it with different textures. We haven't yet heard him use his breath as notes in his soprano register...or with staccato...but I'm almost afraid we'll hear it one day. Sometimes he's so innovative it's scary.

Always listen to the end of the songs, Dimash usually thanks the musicians and has something interesting to say.etc. That last run was 23 seconds full belt. The Middle East sound was put in by Dimash out of respect to the original band member who had died. It is done at funerals.

    • @inciwillard991

That's not true. This ornament is an artistically macam-styled onomatopoeic lament, but it is part of the structure of the song (it is an element in the story of lost love), not a tribute to the long-deceased first singer. This is not how a song is singing.

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than nine languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "Popera" he also has a very pleasant, Humble and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, Tenor, Soprano, against Tenor, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a D8 live at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from Venezuela🇻🇪, "Dears" Forever ❤️👍🏻 Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends. OMG, yupeee, finally I found some reaction from the cellist!!! 😍😍 Hello, I'm Kate from Poland, I'm a cellist (with master degree) and I truly LOVE this instrument🎻🎶❤️ Unfortunately, I don't play the cello professionally now, only amateurs, but I work in the library of the Academy of Music (I love this job too)💖😋 So, I'm still inside of music world🎶
It's great that you discovered Dimash, this guy is really a gift from God🤩🔥🙏 Welcome to Dears, this is a great family 💖 Sinfull Passion was my first Dimashes song I heard in my life, it was in May 2020, so I'm also young Dear, but very committed, I even bought a ticket to Dimashes concert in Prague in March 2021, but it is not known if it will take place - by Covid of course 🙄
I have a little advice for you: before you listen to the song, read its story, look for the subtitled version (Dears will help you) or read the lyrics beforehand, it will help you a lot in its reception and review👍 Dimash is famous for conveying the content of the song with his "whole himself", hands, body, gestures, He's pouring the whole soul into the performance. This causes a real infatuation in the audience, even if they don't understand the words... 😍
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year🎁🎄 Best regards from Poland🙋‍♀️🇵🇱

That is such good advice. Many of his songs have important back stories that make the songs so poignant, and when you know what they are about, they break your heart. The guy in white giving a standing ovation at the end is composer Igor Krutoy. After hearing this performance he came out of retirement to work with Dimash and together they have an ever growing collection of amazing performances. In addition to reworking some of his back catalogue for Dimash (i.e. “Love like a dream”, “Mademoiselle Hyde”, etc.), he’s also composed or co-created several interesting brand new pieces for Dimash: “Ogni Pietra”, “Your Love”, “Passione”, and Dimash’s newest “I miss you” released about 2 weeks ago.
As you continue your Dimash journey you’ll see Mr. Krutoy from time to time.

He said that Dimash won the Voice in China, but he did not win. It was a show called "The Singer 2017". His first song was SOS, which was your first reaction video. He won second place for them to save face. Dimash was the first foreigner and the youngest to ever participate in the show's history. I hope you react to all of his performances on the show because you will hear how he progressed and that he was really so much better than the other singers. So, of course, they had to save face and have one of the adored and professional & established singers win. He was second. He may have lost the battle but he won the war. The other singers were 12-39 yrs. his senior. Please listen to him sing "All By Myself, and Adagio from that show as well. Watching your reactions is such a pleasure. Your expressions are like those of someone getting the gift they really wanted but didn't expect.

As a music teacher, I think you'd be interested in the 'vocalize' version of the song Know. Here it is performed in Kiev : ruclips.net/video/UCbpt48KntY/видео.html : Dimash just sitting down for the majority, letting his voice play in beautiful ways, wordlessly. What's very impressive here is the way the musicians with him on stage support these riffs throughout the song, the percussionists really getting into it at one point, and then a sort of grungy guitar lick in there, too. It's one of those instances of magic, alchemy, that comes when musicians collaborate. Yeah, I'm in love with it.

He sings in 12 languages, is a multi instrumentalist, he sings opera, rock, pop, jazz and he raps. But most important of all, he is the most humble, sincere, authentic, grateful, amiable and loving person on earth.
Next songs you should listen to are the episodes from The Singer contest (2017)
    Opera 2
    Adagio (he plays the piano)
    Autumn Strong
    Confessa & Diva Dance
    All by myself
    Give me Love
    Daididau (he plays the Dombra)
    Hello
    And after that:
    Love is like a Dream
    Ogni Pietra
    Passione
    Daybreak (Bastau)
Unforgettable Day (Gakku) (he's going into a D8!)
    Samaltau
Screaming (idol hits version; he raps!)
Know (New Wave version + vocalise version)
Give me your Love (he dances!)
    Ok, Good Luck!!!
Because you will get a lot of support for your channel from the Dimash "Dears" (that's how he calls his fans, there is a lot of deep mutual love between Dimash and his Dears)
    Enjoy the ride!!!

Yes I'm a 55-year-old man and suddenly became a dearest too. I actually cry many times watching sometimes people first react because it takes me to when I first saw and reacted. Yes thank you for being yourself and honest with how you reacted and feel about him. I even started laughing thinking he's the perfect person because you read about him if you do and discover what a great human he is and attitude and everything, including looks. He is like a magnet to any human and it doesn't matter about their positions. And since he is so perfect in everything he does singing it seems which is in human practically. I'm starting to believe in aliens more because of them being in the news again and now I'm trying to figure out if they maybe one of them invaded his body.
By the way, just in case, on the condition, if any Real Aliens are reading these comments (usind advanced AI word search in YT) I am very willing to be invaded anyway you want provided that it's not too much pain and you can also take over all decisions and give me a talent as well if you'd like; I hope I don't disappoint you.

Hi teacher! Dimash is so amazing that one don't say what more to say!
Maybe he's fantastic? He's the best? I don't know. All this is truth, surely.
    Sorry my bad English...
And cello is my favourite instrument!!
Well, thanks to react to Dimash the great...
Have a nice weekend and greetings from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 👋
This vibration with his vocal cords is a yodel, a lamentation in some arabic songs, because the dead of someone. In this case I believe a singer of the band who sang this song.

Mr. Kudaibergen use his own "Turkic Melismas." This is not middle-eastern style. For "Sinful Passion": "The little run" is a Turkic Tuva/Sakha style. Dimash got inspired of an old antic Kazak singing technique. You can hear it from the all Turan group. Sakha people ( Russia) uses this technique too. Tuvan throat singing (Khoomei,xöömei in Tuvan) is one particular variant of overtone singing practiced by people in Turkic Tribes (one of them Tuva), Mongolia, Inner Mongolia and Siberia.
      Examples for Khoomei:
      An epitome: ruclips.net/video/qx8hrhBZJ98/видео.html
      ruclips.net/video/LcNgWXgyM88/видео.html
Some of the Dears says "Joqtaw" for this song's voice style, but I don't agree with them.
"Joqtaw" is just a name for recited laments and poems for dead people by Kazakh women.
      *livingotherwise.com/2017/08/11/singing-back-steppe-kazakh-poetry-battles-contemporary-xinjiang/
This link is an Arab man's Sinfull Passion reaction:
      ruclips.net/video/70VeMogTyEI/видео.html
Basic and clean. Arab Man said never heard it like this thing, because these are NOT Arab yodels.
Music was a one of the "Big Sins" to arabs for long centuries. And, sory, laments? If you died in Mecca, you did not have even a tombstone. They (wahhabis) will say "sin" and "pagan".

Don't worry, he will blow you away for a while yet.
Next up for me would be The Show Must Go On from the The Singer. Some will want you to jump ahead but Dimash should be a journey, not a destination. Others will want Opera 2 as that was his 2nd performance on The Singer and it is pretty amazing. If you are familiar with the original with Vitas, yeah Dimash is better and it is a playful Dimash, but we have to keep your journey moving along so I'm going to his 3rd performance on The Singer and it's Dimash doing Freddie.

Keep listening and reacting, please. That throat thing is his glorious glottal stop, we all do it when we say uh-oh, Dimash just does it better!!!!!!!! I wonder if Dimash can overtone as well?

Hello, please react to the song "Your Love". It was writing for him. There are also another great song that was wrote for him "Olimpico". Please, react to these songs. He sings a song that he begins very low, at a A1 or something, I don't know if the reaches 6 octaves at this song, but I believe it is the lowest he goes on songs "Ascolta La Voce Know".

Hello, I’m from Brazil! The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.
