Looking forward to seeing this live in Bristol. Any plans for a European headline tour later next year?

SOUTH AMERICA PLEASE
Видать вдохновение брали у Тима Хенсона......мне не очень, не из за сложности, я не люблю такое количества Тепинга и рваных Нот.
The way he taps, its just so unique. Ive never seen someone tap and lok so tense and relaxed at the same time. Hes crazy
They are tapped harmonics
@@dracoslays3542 I dont think thats what he meant
Yes, we know what a tapped harmonic is. He was commenting on the execution.
@@yeetyfreety6938 Not everyone knows what a tapped harmonic is, so I stated that in case they or anyone else didn't know. Tapped harmonics at that tempo definitely require an aggressive but precise execution, and I agree with the original commenter describing Manuel's calm and focused demeanor. I did not intend to come off as condescending or telling them they are wrong. Was just trying to help any homies out who might not be familiar with the technique.
@@dracoslays3542 Understood, pardon my misunderstanding.
2:14 - 2:17 I hope we get to see this part live!
Question, how do the guitar switches happen in live settings?
@@VijayMarshalleither forces it on one guitar or maybe have the other on one of those stands you can play on.
@@VijayMarshallSome guitarists have one guitar on a stand, so you don’t have to wear a strap, and the other one on their back with a strap, and they like swing their guitar in the correct position once they need it. Tim Henson form polyphia also does that when playing Chimera. I hope this explanation is clear 😅 (English isn’t my native language).
@@VijayMarshallBtw you can see it in one of Tim Henson’s videos; ‘pov it’s time to practice guitar’, in the Chimera part. Hope this helps 🙃
This goes hard 🔥 It's perfection ! People will lose their minds when they see this live 😮 Make sure to do the eyebrow wiggle every time 😏
LOVED IT
Manuel's challenging himself a lot too to play all these live lol I wonder what he'd personally consider the hardest section to play off of the new album.
I'm excited to see Unprocessed as the opener for Periphery soon. It's gonna be dope
@@wavewithus4081I really respect him for that . I wonder as well . Most of what he does is hard for most people so it's probably something we wouldn't expect . I'm going to the show in Cologne . 😊. I'm really excited too ! ❤
@@Kokorino I bet it's something unexpected or seemingly 'minor' like at 1:28, switching back from thumping to picking (pick recovery) that fast during like a 16th note run or something like that lol.
Also have fun at the show :)
@@wavewithus4081 Thank you :D Can't wait ! You too , have lots of fun !
Let me tell you! I always liked Unprocessed but this new album is my new favorite album and I did not expect that to happen. It's a masterpiece gentlemen
the switch to the 8 string was smooth man!
Can’t get the opening riff out of my head 😊
I am fast asf
you are
Boy
@@Sycrxw
this album is the perfect mix of the old and new Unprocessed!
also wonder how will manuel play this live with the guitar switch and pick/thumbing🤔
Probably the same way Tim plays chimera live
That 8-string guitar tone has grit and bite to it. I like the way it tries to clash with the lower frequencies.
Since 1991, Tom Morello was my guitar god. Manuel takes that title. Watching you work is life saving. Makes us feel alive inside.
Tom morello in 91? I thought his sound was killer, and what he did simplifying zeppelin riffs. Something I never even thought of. My idea was if you play classic play exactly as good or better than original. Nobody did that back then. They would play main riff, then half ass everything else. Later on bands were playing closer to original, basically cover bands
How is he doing that pitch down at 0:14 ? Is it automated?
I think yes, but could also be done with a pedal I guess
Whammy bar maybe
I’m sensing a Manuel signature 8?! Possibly a sig 6?!
i can still hear the lyrics what the hell this is truly the best gift i could get for christmas thank you!
Thought the same thing. Brain playing tricks.
Wtf is that bend ah sound at 0:14 ??? Someone please help I'm learning this
TBH...I laughed hard after I saw his facial reaction at the end😂...manuellll!!!!!!!!!
Why the F*** this man doesn't get his signature guitar like right now
Does he play slap as well? That was sick asf. Also, that Ibanez!!!! Damn man. I play Bass on a Ibanez. But that 8 string is sexy asf.
Your videos are really getting better currently! Just letting you know that people notice the effort and appreciate it! P.s. the song goes hard AF
So aside from this technical riffs, he also sings and screams. 🤔🤔🤔
Great Channeling of Mr. Abasi. Well done !
Ben Shapiro’s growing list of talents never ceases to amaze me.
I really like how we can still hold his pick even when he switches to thumping.
Loving the album!
Manuel, that tapping intro is sooo damn good. Is that a pitch shift for the last bend note? Every one in the band is 190 out of a 100, blows my mind
yeah has to be, he doesnt actually bend it
Tus tapping armonicos estan a otro nivel 👏❤
Th einterface in the background fighting for its damn life during the chugs hahaha
This dude a bad mf 💪💪💪
Absolute legend
Trung Quốc thật sự có khá nhiều thiên tài âm nhạc với những thể loại phức tạp và cắt nhỏ, tôi khá bất ngờ.
I'm convinced Manuel is one of the best guitarist on the planet right now...
You are aware this is mimed and sped up right?
@@shawnsmith2241 damn bro, that's crazy...
Do you have any proof?
@@D.Ku_03 Look up levi clay fernandes miming in search.
@@D.Ku_03 Look at his right hand. If you are a competent guitarist seeing the mimicry and speeding up is blatant. If you aren't? Look at his audio interfaces peaking gain levels and how they ramp up hyper fast to clipping in red, that doesn't happen naturally on most. Look at his clothes and hair, look at the reflections of light amongst the metallic objects, literally take the video and slow it down 15% in a production suite and see how it looks normal. Man, some of you are so blind both aurally and visually
@@Manley156 look, I just woke up, but I'm gonna do it later
Unprocessed would be as good as Polyphia and Animals as Leaders if they lost the vocals...
This would make for a great fight scene.
Just after my birthday! Thank you for the unexpected release of a FULL instrumental song, Manuel. Just what I wished for!
* and of course it is beautifully NUTS \m/
... EDIT: I have to admit, you made me drop some tears. :')
This isnt the full version and it isnt instrumental, its a song from his band (Unprocessed)'s new album and it has TIM HENSON AND SCOTT LEPAGE FROM POLYPHIA
@@giorgiobertoldo Wat? No need to clarify any of that. Nevertheless, it's a complete song from beginning to end (not a few secs - 1 min riff) in his channel, and it's an instrumental version ;-D
I know about his band and that collaboration. Thanks.
All I want is Scott's solo and then its max level cream
1:27 not only do you need god-skill guitar playing, you need to know sleight-of-hand tricks to switch from pick to finger/thumping 😭😭
0:31 how da fuk do you did that pitch shift on single harmonic? Postprocessing or unprocessed? ;d
Btw I'm trying to figure that intro out. Boy it's hard. Especially after years of not playing.
I got into u thru Polyphia. Incredible skill and nice vibes.
Really feel bad but I feel the mix on the new album wasn't really good. If you got the stems, it surely deserves a better mix.
It just sounds too boxy.
well fuck me :)
i didn't listen to Manuel and i don't really know why his style is as amazing as ichika, marcin, jin san kim, tim, luca, and all the other goats
bright future you have :') in two years you will book a staduim to do your shows fr
I wish I could hear this song with an actual metal distortion guitar tone rather than this compressed overdrive. love the song otherwise.
*nuts*
Sick playing, terrible desk cable management 😆
omggg Glass or Abysm next please! have been obsessed with the new album
that looks way harder than i thought... i guess this is gonna take me a little longer to learn...
Why is this song not available on Apple Music any more 😞
I'm suprised you don't have your' own page in Ripleys Believe it or not.
@1:52 did we just get like a split second of slam? lol ok don't threaten me with a good time x)
This whole album is sooooo f*kin' good ever. Every track goes insane, dude.
present you prize of Best album of the year
I looove the crazy automated effects!
Is there like a tutorial anywhere for something similar?
??
@@keepyoursins I mean, it's just putting midi in a DAW like Logic?
This guy is next up in line.
rock am ring will go insane if you play this live together. Hope for you guys that your schedule will be at night
the intro riff is so insanely hard to play. gotta see this live some day
Bro imagine a edit with Tim and Scott in the video, it already went hard asf that would just add fuel to the flame
Да братиш, ты стал настоящим гитарным маньяком 🔥🔥🔥🎸🤗
Yes!|
Anyone have a tutorial for the tapping going on here?
Do you have a tutorial for reattaching my face after it melts off? Send help
what is that pink and gold guitar
I would be the martyr for these skills!
Bro, i saw that stank face Mr Gardner 😏
This a rich musician with a focusrite
👍👍👍👍👍
Smell the blue fart of the lost charter.
1:10 to 1:30 is my favorite part of this song by far
Man can tap faster than I tap on my calculator!!
Duuuuuude the 8 string solo is so fucking firrrrrre. Also, the pick in the hand while thumping and then sliding it out to switch to picking was smooth asf
god have mercy when you play live lol
Well done sir
perfect❤
Was really hoping he'd release a video of his part after hearing the song.
Come To Brazil !!!!
my name is barry allen
nice danny yau cover
Already loving it ! :o
Could honestly see this on a DOOM game
The first track on the album really reminded me of a mick gordon song
chacka chacka
god
That's amazing. Thanks!
Crazy playing! Only dislike the pitch shifting.. I have no problem with production of any kind but actually changing the intonation of the played notes seems kinda meh to me.
This whole albums fucks EXTREMELY hard. See you in Virginia in the spring!
It has echoed of King Crimson "Elephant Talk."
Sounds good 👍
He’s got such a hard bass face he must’ve forgot he was playing guitar
someone somewhere: pfft you can't make your guitar do screamo
manuel: hold. my. fucking. beer.
😮😮😮❤❤
fucking amazing cant believe what im watching. the perfect harmonics, thank you for this
Fuuuhhh. The chugging part was one of the Meshuggahist chugs I've ever heard. Super sick! 🔥🔥🤙🤙

Foda tá? Peraí bicho...
Album of the year. Song of the year. Solo(s) of the year. Man crush of the year.
tapping so fast that you can't even see what notes he's playing. What a time to be alive
I am so ready to see Unprocessed live this upcoming February
1:29 the way he transitioned to the pick was CRAZY
for the love of god play the abysm solo!!! new album is sooooo good congrats!!!
I really love how it's going from discovery to trauma to termination.
I play guitar for 25 years and hamster lost a cat who loved this song... but, frankly that intro is pure gold!!!
That was… pretty fuckin amazing
Is this being played with Polyphia??
Speed it up the more, the right hand almost looks natural
Crazy nobody can cover it perfectly 😂
