Being a 48-year-old guitarist who's been playing since he was 8, I can honestly say that this is inspiring as it opens doors to the instrument's possibilities. I can sit down with this and open myself up by adding new elements to everything I have learned and played over the last 40-years. Thanks for opening that door for us, Tim Henson. :)

Tosin Abasi taught him this exact style. He took a lot from Animals as Leaders, and classical playing, and adapted it to his vibe. In our times, there's multiple artists just as talented or more. What makes Tim influential is really not his guitar playing. it's his dedication to putting himself out there, his tenacious marketing, and a vicious commitment to his own way of adapting learned modern guitar techniques, and "how can I do things differently." The luck of the draw with having a popular vibe helps. Many are talented. Few survive and leave a legacy like Tim. This game of music is cutthroat as fuck.

He’s found a way to infuse it with modern studio software technology and says well it sounds good time to learn how to play it and just works so hard man. He has absolutely raised the bar, you are right.
