It’s been interesting to see the evolution of this guys music. I’ve been following Polyphia since Muse came out and I wasn’t initially a huge fan of the post-Renaissance stuff but it’s grown on me a lot. You’ve truly created your own style!
I really dig the technique and how each and every wisp and scratch that happens flows into the melody rather than sounding sloppy. It's also interesting that one of the best guitar players the world has ever produced turned himself into what can only be described as a hentai pin-up a 7 year old found and doodled on...that became a person. I don't think anyone could/would ever claim that Mr. Hensen isn't original. Keep this stuff up, man. In make the less talented among us strive to want to be better.
I received news a couple days ago that my mom will be passing away soon (two weeks, or less). I went out to Sacramento (61 miles/1hr 1/2 drive ) to be with her for a few days. I think his current influence may be like more classical genres of guitar, and music overall. Like flamencos, bossy nova, you see some renaissance influences in there too. He’s found a way to infuse it with modern studio software technology and says well it sounds good time to learn how to play it and just works so hard man. He has absolutely raised the bar, you are right.

Its so amazing that someone can just come and invent a new way to play the instrument. Thank you.
I love that you play nylon... its beautiful! the spanish guitar is under appreciated and you are helping to correct that my friend!
You would here this when the hero slowly turns into the villain.

This had a very nice spanish acoustic feel to it, very lovely!
I listened to this for the 1st time yesterday and I absolutely love it. I woke up with it stuck in my head and could not wait to listen to it again. Well done! 🤘
I could listen to this forever
Played guitar for 8 years, 25 now and its beena few years without playing. Got stuck, less motivated. Sick of what I know. Tim just motivated me to pick it up again :D Thank u bro u rlly are the GOAT
Edit, 25 Y/O rn
The effects are amazing! It’s ethereal!
This is actually hypnotizing (in a good way) i could listen to this all day. Great job :)
It’s been interesting to see the evolution of this guys music. I’ve been following Polyphia since Muse came out and I wasn’t initially a huge fan of the post-Renaissance stuff but it’s grown on me a lot. You’ve truly created your own style!
Some real King's Field vibes for me on this one that i can't explain. Could easily listen to this on an endless repeat just like the OST.
That fretboard is sick, watching you play gives the sensation of the strings making a wave motion.
That's the way classical nylon string guitars behave because of the lower tension of the strings, the E A & D really dance around.
A guitar meditation? I forgot where I was. This guy is one of the best guitarist of ever heard, if not the best…
Been while Tim, great to have you back here in RUclips land 💜
I really dig the technique and how each and every wisp and scratch that happens flows into the melody rather than sounding sloppy. It's also interesting that one of the best guitar players the world has ever produced turned himself into what can only be described as a hentai pin-up a 7 year old found and doodled on...that became a person. I don't think anyone could/would ever claim that Mr. Hensen isn't original.
Keep this stuff up, man. In make the less talented among us strive to want to be better.
hes always been good at perfecting the texture, the boys got the touch haha
He's magical the less you know. For his age meh debatable.
I received news a couple days ago that my mom will be passing away soon (two weeks, or less). I went out to Sacramento (61 miles/1hr 1/2 drive ) to be with her for a few days. Last night I made the difficult decision to come back home, to spend a day taking care of some business. So right now I am doing what I need to do before going back up for the final trip. I woke up with "Quintuplet Meditation" on my mind this morning, so I have it playing right now to help me focus on the task at hand.
Courage 🙏🏼
I am truly grateful we have treasures of the craft posting on the reg. accessible to all.
Killer tone! That Neural DSP Archetype: Tim Henson plugin worth every cent it costs!
This is the first guitarist I've heard in years that actually moved and impressed me with originality. Ok I'm from New Orleans, fukn the birthplace of jazz and one of the most important places for the blues and rock. I've seen so many bands but as a musician I've seen a multitude more guitarist and this dude is hands down the only one I remembered the next day in years. TIM YOUR WELCOME TO NAWLINS ANY TIME
Taking things in a nice direction for the times. This man is astounding. Love to watch him play.
Damn this is magical Tim! Thank you for a gr8 start of my day 🔥🙏🏽
this feels 10x better after learning the whole etude, thank you tim
This instrumental literally plays with my head i feel so calm and relaxed and the same time i feel like i have to go for an adventure to explore myself.
He's raised the bar across the board. Does things I've never heard anyone do before. Completely original and off the charts technical!
I listen to alot of meditation music/frequencies and this is up to par and better than a lot of them. He’s not sticking himself inside a box, he’s experimenting everything and letting his creativity and knowledge just shine.
This music tells us a real story ! I am in another world !! I would love to find it in a movie with the same quality, or a video game ! ❤️
bro ur sweaters are always so nice
so, this is very crazy man, wtf. just a song made by tim henson make me literally cry because i hear this music in a good moment of my life, and hearing again now that my life not going well. tks tim. u is very important to me, probably here in brazil u don’t have many fans, but im here.
Ibanez needs to release these guitars. This and the pink one from your other videos are absolutely gorgeous.
i wish...
I know!!! it must really be difficult to do that custom fretwork though, beautiful!!
SERIOUSLY!!! Theres nothing on the market like these... I thought he just bought them. Lets hope for a 2nd Tim Henson Ibanez in THIS style. NEED NEED NEED
Prob the sickest nylon string guitar I’ve ever seen
@@DruNature frets are normal frets....the fretboard inlay is a design they've been doing: " tree of life" or "vine of life" whatever it is, since the 80's..
check out any Steve Vai Jem ibanez from '87 onwards lol..they have it down
Passaria dias dentro desse som. Incrível!
Absolutely divine! Thank you!!🖤🤘
Played so emotionally and perfectly that it just bends... keep coming up with new ideas bro I share good luck with you
If you didn’t know, when u say something “blows” that means you think it sucks haha
@@joshuabrint4078 🤣🤣
@@joshuabrint4078 I could say it bends as a guitar reference my god I feel stupid
I use to think to myself how could I ever possibly be as prestige as Tim Henson and countless other players. I questioned my ability at first, that was until I fell in love with the practice. Now I’ve reached a point where I don’t doubt my ability. Tim Henson I thank you for your ability/Mastery of guitar because there are days were I lack the enthusiasm or motivation to play but after seeing this you’ve only reignited that passion. I shall master this technique and continue on the path of Knowledge…

Very fuck, indeed
@@Proppur_ bro ya I'm confused

@@Bentley_turley 'MUITO FODA, BRO - Awesome, bro.' It's just slang
The way you innovate with every new album... It's just freaking crazy! Your creativity goes far away from what's known.
how do you make literally everything sound so good
This has a 1960s cool movie feel about it - love this. I think Tom could write write a film sound track every bit as good as the compose who wrote for good, the bad and the ugly .
What’s fun about guitar is that by learning this rhythmic feel, it shows up in completely different ways.
Ie. Jimmy Eat World ‘The Middle’ solo was the first one I learned with a quick triplet run. Once I learned that, triplets began showing up in blues phrasing, fingerpicking, strumming, etc. without realizing it.
I watch alot of youtube, and keep up with alot of peeps, but when i see a new video from Tim, I RUN to it!!! Loved the vibe on this one! CANT WAIT for album 4!!!!
I genuinely think I know you, if so, hope you're well and glad we share the same taste in music
This whole video has a vibe that Tim survived living under Soviet oppression and all he wants is to provide a better life for his beautiful wife and two young children. Your safe now Tim. you can put all the terrible things you had to do to survive behind you.
The return of the king 👑
Just wow, I got lost in the music and in my mind. How you pluck those strings to make this melody has amazed and haunted me. I already know this song will be stuck in my head for a while. Thank you again for the music Tim.
When do we get to see you compose a score for a film or video game? This melody would be perfect ambiance for exploring a mystical area of a game.
