You're lucky because the timing window is twice as big in the remake
The spot where you timed it is how I timed it back then in the 'ol SNES when I got to 100 Jumps..
Super Nintendo is harder for sure, however its not simple on either version
Guys. Press the button as you see Mario's shadow collide with the enemy's shadow.
Would be great if there was a switch up program to do this.
I just pay attention to mario's boot and hit a when it touches between the red and white part of the spiny. Took me two hours but I did it.
I tried all your tips and I was able to get it on my 5th attempt once I got more comfortable with your timing counter. Thanks for the great advice!

I don’t have a wired controller and it’s been difficult. I might just go out and get one for this and return it afterwards. I got up to 80 as my highest.
Wired helps but handheld mode can work almost as well
I did it on Handheld and it was way easier than doing it with a wired controller@@COIFISHGAMING

@@nicohalt3165has nothing to do with getting good. The game just doesn't work for some. I do the same exact button push and will get 30 on one attempt or 13 on another. Same exact button pushing. It doesn't work.

You are pressing the attack button on each jump

Joy Cons work in handheld
Wired has 1 Frame more input delay but yeah do whatevs

I try it, doesn't work, this thing cheats i push it the right timing, shoot this harder then the entire game make the culex 3d boss look like a joke compared to getting 100 jumps man just like mario odyssey jump rope 😂

@@COIFISHGAMING yeah still can't do it lol thanks for helping but yeah I already beaten all the bosses of the game and pretty much did everything but this, so idk if I need the power suit and acttck scarf would be nice to have but it's too difficult to do
@@retrogamer9362I know what you mean! I got the attack scarf. That's not too difficult imo. But, anything over 40 super jumps is just too hard & tedious! Btw, I got the SNES mini just to get the original Super Mario RPG before this amazing remake gem came out, & on the mini you have save states (suspend points) you can use to cheat the count on Super Jump! 😅 😂 it's the only way imaginable that I could ever get -& got- the Super Suit! Probably never gonna get the Super Suit on the Switch remake lol, but that's ok! 👍 my biggest challenge rn is learning how to consistently get Star Rain in this new one to do 17 bounces! 🌟🤬

Over a minute
I’m not gonna go waste money on a wire controller to get a worthless, endgame item. This sounds like they set it up that way to get you to spend more money typical Nintendo money, making Ponzi scheme.
Totally doable with just handheld and the Joycons
