I'm so glad I was a kid in the 90's and a teen in the early 2000's. I've been a makeup fanatic since the inception of RUclips and was there during the rise of Kylie Cosmetics. Tbh, I never saw the hype especially since 99% of her lipkits and palettes did not cater to black people (I am black so her makeup line wasn't even worth me checking for). In the beginning, I think Kylie was very involved however, as time went on, I think she lost passion for it and you can tell all the releases now aren't really her vibe.
I think this is a real issue with celebrity brands. because it’s heavily associated with her, there is less room for evolution. If it didn’t have someone that we know so will attached to it they would have that room to develop and change to what the customer wants, because there is such a huge name, it has to reflect that celebrity before it is able to react to the customer. It’s a real limitation of the Category
I agree. I think she just wants to do something else now. I think Kim's is a lot more successful and stable because she was older when she started, so she's a bit more settled in her mood and desires. Kylie was barely a 20-year-old when all this happened.
I feel like Kylie’s bored with life in general. Imagine having achieved everything a person could possibly achieve by like 25… having everything you could possibly want. There’s probably this feeling of having nothing to work for anymore. She was kinda handed everything too so must she probably doesn’t have that “this is my baby” kind of feeling with her projects cause ultimately she didn’t work thaaat hard for them. The second she sold controlling interest of her company I knew she didn’t care about it anymore. Plus the whole Kylie swim ordeal… there’s no way she was even awake during the production of those swimsuits. Also with her level of fame going down considerably as she becomes more and more unrelatable to her former fans (like come on they met her as a teen now she’s a mom of two who looks 38 and dresses like a mafia wife). She just doesn’t seem to have any passion for her businesses anymore.
I'm a darker skinned Mexican woman I'm 6 months older than Kylie herself so when I saw the kits I bought dolce and the darker one , was super excited to have gotten them and then upon trying them out , I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the lipstick and how it did not look great 10-15 minutes after applying it , dry and flaky and smelt weird but coming off of HUDA beauty matte lipstick I gotten as a gift trendsetter was the shade and my god the difference in how it dries and long wear it was night and day so then I figured out that KYLIE JENNERS JANKEY LIP KITS WERE BULLSHIT , just the hype on it I couldn't understand because it looked like horse shit after 10 minutes and reapplying it made it look even worse so dry looking it made your lips look like you put foundation on and forgot to wipe off your lips and it dried in clumps so yeah fool me once SHAME ON ME you know that was in like 2015 never bought anything from them again first and last time fucking with that families products
I will never get over how much older Kylie looks than her age. The thumbnail makes me forget she’s not 34, every photo she always looks at least 7 yrs older than she is…the makeup and lifestyle age her so rapidly from the time she was 18 on.
She just loved her life in such a hurry she was desperate to keep up with her sisters who are 10-20 years older than her. Her mom also encouraged this instead of making sure she was a child. That crazy La lifestyle for so long. Look at Miley, Lindsey. They all look way older than they are. It just ages people.
I do NOT understand how anyone could buy anything from someone who LIES ABOUT PLASTIC SURGERY , especially the Kardashian Jenner clan. Kylie looks like a whole different person irl than in pictures, that should tell anyone everything they need to know about the brand. I don't own a single product by her, I always thought it was overpriced garbage. I feel sorry for all the teenagers who were naive enough to fall into her marketing trap.
You gave yourself away with "especially the Kardashian Jenner clan" Just say you don't like them people and move around huh lol Y'all kill me with that BS ... They all GOOD I promise 😂 you not buying anything of theirs clearly didn't stop shit lol But you chose to air your grievances under a video of people who you clearly don't like, for what? Now that you got that off your chest, you feel better?
I always wondered why people wouldn't just save up their money for lip injections instead of a 'lip kit' - lip filler is only the cost of a few of those and then you don't even need the lip kit
I NEVER buy celebrity endorsed make up products. Buy, Dior, lancome, bb, Mac. Leave make up to the professionals. I would however try Rihanna's line. I think she really took the effort to make her brand work, instead of just saying buy me because I'm famous.
I think that unfortunately, because so many lower quality brands or questionably structured businesses have been used with celebrities it gave them this bad reputation. Wether it grew too quickly, was unsustainable, it wasn’t planned well from the beginning, whatever the problem was, it’s a shame that there isn’t enough people wanting to genuinely start a business from a point thats not just money, it reminds me of that girl, Nicola from Girls Aloud, I really believe that business was planned to from a different perspective, money was a secondary goal
I’m interested to know in what country did you try Kylie Cosmetics in Sephora? I happen to really like Kylie’s liners but I can’t find them at any Sephora in the U.S 😞 I vacation in Europe often, was it in France of Italy?
I think speculating as to why someone likes or wants to support a celebrity is a polarizing activity itself. What was really a niche activity has become a fully fledged economy at this point, and it is really quite disturbing.
You couldn't be as consistently successful as they are being polarizing. What's more likely is you're a member of a comparatively small but vocal subculture formed around hating this family for your own individual reasons, which I sure has nothing to do with the perception that they have a preference for black men, which is apparently very controversial with some.
@@bnwo I wonder the same thing about people who support other polarizing successful people such as Trump or Elon Musk. Someone in America is buying all those red hats and Teslas. And it’s weird to imply if someone doesn’t like Kardashians they are racist?
@@atomikblondee1 I would advise that you re read my comment, but clearly reading isn't something you excel at, so there'd be no point. Also, this video is about Kylie Cosmetics. Perhaps come back to this video and comment thread when you've refilled your medication.
Yeah the issue I feel was she released everything too too fast. It was always launch after launch after launch. She did lose her passion. She barely posts about her makeup.
@@emilyh2362 that’s the thing too she wasn’t having other models wearing her product. The brand now is so basic with just kylie. Makeup collectors don’t want something that says Kylie

She is a heavily protected celebrity, and much of her business is shrouded in secrecy because should the real information come out, it would shatter her very carefully curated image 3) Every celebrity has lip filler, so the focus on Kylie was just hate that failed yet again to impact them and 3) I guess you didn't watch her video on Rare Beauty
@@bnwo LVMH is publicly traded, learn how business works. Atleast fenty and rare had good products while it lasted. I’ve never ever ever seen someone pull out a Kylie product in the middle of a tutorial or out in the wild. And again, it’s not that she has lip fillers.. it’s that she LIED about it in order to SELL her product…. We need to fund the public school system.
@@amarjotsingh8455 Riri only owns 50% lol And that is still a little suspect. There's nothing that Kylie has done that any other company hasn't done as well. (FYI: it won't.) And once again, you need to watch the Rare Beauty video if you're so concerned about "lying."
I remember watching makeup guru’s from back when saying, “Kylie’s liquid lip formula is so drying.” Now I’m really into trying new makeup products and the nice lady at Ulta told me “Kylie is good buttt, it’s a **little** drying…..” I thought to myself, “How does she have the same problem from like, 2016?”
@@underskinYTthat’s not even true, she does care which is why she is trying to buy back the brand. Allegedly she doesn’t like how the new company is handling her products
I was a big Kardashian/Jenner fan back in the day. I wasn’t interested in makeup but I remember the Kylie lip kit being a big deal. Once the brand got into Ulta, I think people realized it was a merch line and an excuse for Kylie to do photo shoots.
Right?! And her photo shoots with makeup for woman are disgustingly over sexual used..like are you trying to sell me a lip gloss or are you trying to sell me your body? Because now I'm uncomfortable and your having sex with yourself in the camera and no thanks not interested in either one 😬
I think the only thing this video doesn’t make note of is the overall decline of the beauty industry/hype after the onset of COVID and the rise in skincare. Her business was absolutely not the only one to suffer. The beauty industry has been declining for at least a few years now
True. The person who made this video is clearly one of those who hates the Kardashian clan. But it was educational never the less. This kid Kylie is made for life under the age of 25. Theres alot of people selling crap, so she’s one of them. She did it smart and fast.
People are looking for a more natural look, too, now for a number of years . . . I think you are definitely on the money about make-up losing it's popularity . . . Now, we have INFLATION TO DEAL WITH TOO . . . So people have less disposable income.
@@SandraAnnEvansthis is very true !! Right now we are in the 2000’s makeup era very clean and minimal. But I feel 2016 makeup will make a comeback in a couple years
you’re so right about kylie cosmetics not having a product differentiator. nowadays (not back in the day as with the lip kits) kylie cosmetics isn’t known for any particular product or even a particular style of makeup or aesthetic. it’s like there’s no brand identity beyond it being a kylie jenner brand. and i imagine its sales would’ve been far less if her name wasn’t attached to the brand.
Smoke and glitter, like everything they do. The video of her in that pink set, doing a facial in full makeup and wearing rings, it's eye- rolling, like, just eff off. Its so transparent that it's a merch line, if her fans weren't teenagers, it wouldn't sell at all.
Amazing video! I have issues with this brand... it's so...cheap. From her image to packaging, logo etc. She doesn't seem passionate about it, i don't know. I don't like KKW either but I see it more refined than Kylie's. Oh, I remember when she tried to snatch the rights of KYLIE when Kylie Minogue has been using for literally decades 😭☠️ the entitlement of it all, just like Kim
@@underskinYT Yes I know, I was just making a general statement about Kylie, not in direct response of your video. I am a fan of the family, except for her
She is not a billionaire. They lied. A bit like they lied that you can get her lips from the lip kits. You need injections for that. The fact she has a lot of followers means nothing. It just means a lot of foolish people are worshipping someone who doesn't deserve it. The only reason to admire her is for success in business and I wonder how much she was actually involved.
I was a marketing student too back in the day, Im glad to see it translates well :) you should check out my fashion channel though, I post far more regularly there
there's no need to over-consume, but they have done very well over the years over many business models, they're clearly doing something right (its diversification)
It definitely had its moment thats for sure & i was just getting into makeup when her brand launched. my problem with the brand was that she did too many limited edition launches meaning none of her products stayed consistent & everyone felt forced to buy cos they didn't want to miss out. and then it was found out that she would discontinue a lip liner shade and bring it back, name it something else and sell it again with her new 'limited edition' launch.
The lip kits made sense because of the lip controversy. Even her 21st bday collection was such a vibe, but Kylie has changed which is to be expected. Her brand surrounds her which is a huge mistake in my opinion. Her lip liner matching the lip product was revolutionary at the time, but what else? I agree, she hasn’t done anything to captivate the market and differentiate herself, but maybe she can’t. There is so much that Kylie has to be profitable, like clothing, even hee swim collection had hype but the quality wasn’t there. She has the potential for sure. She just needs to move away from her being the image bearer. Even Kim’s skims line is authentic because I learned about spanx through Kim so the brand made sense (I still think spanx is better) but at least she did something authentic and her marketing is very diverse.
It’s a shame they didn’t really try to distance her as a celebrity from the brand, because there was so much potential for other products that may be not be necessarily linked to her so directly. Because they wanted that celebrity endorsement to make a faster amount of money, it really locked them in And made the brand dated quite quickly.
❤❤❤ REAL TALK. I have never bought anything from ANY of the Kardashians nor kept up with any of them as they have NO REAL TALENT aside from being rich and I will NEVER support them so I look forward to the day I can say GOOD RIDDANCE 💯
These girls are just jumping from product to product. It's all a cash grab. I use alot of skincare and cosmetics and I never bought their products. I usually do alot of research before I buy anything. I'm curious as to who really buys their products.
she has (or had) a huge customer base back in the day, but now the market is so saturated and her product isnt the most chemically interesting, so its just got lost in the sea
This family has a lot of instances of jumping into something they claim to be passionate about and then fizzling out within a year or so. Also, I’m sure a lot of fans grew up and saw she DID have lip fillers for a lot of that (which when she initially denied, many youth believed) and it wasn’t the makeup that was the secret, so quietly bowed out.
I do wonder is it because it can be a year or longer behind the scenes before it launches, then by the time launch happens and the company is a few years old it’s probably 5+ years. So not surprised they go through phases of being passionate for the produxtsb
Everything about Kylie's appearance seems flamboyantly fake and very high maintenance. She's established herself in the family trade of celebrity and product promotion, initiated by her transformation from average girl to photogenic enigma who might be 20 or 60, cis or trans and reminds me of a Japanese receptionist robot when her mouth moves. There's a point at which transformation becomes self-obliterating.
She was doing what was hot at the time. Now her look/as well as Kim and khloes looks looks dated. Heavy makeup, contoured face, fake tans , bbls, plastic surgery etc. The fashion is overly sexy. The new generation is more organic. Less makeup.
I love that we’re going into our ‘support small craftsman shops’ era it’s the best. People like kylie have everything by handed to them, no passion, no knowledge just cold cash.
I hope that continues for sure. I do have some doubts just because of advertising budget and draw (like my celeb or famous brands get 10x the clicks over my videos on small brands still on my fashion channel) but even then, I hope it translates to sales for these companies because they genuinely do deserve it more than

I’d love a deep dive into Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford if you are up for it…she seems to have a loyal fan base and still be making good money over all these years. I was gifted a random bag of her kit and it’s very gentle and light on the skin, I’ll definitely miss it when gone. Would just love to know more about the brand and how it does generally, I tried to help my landlord stop her subscription and was given the run around so that was a red flag for sure.
It’s based on a lie. If there were magical melons that just never aged everyone would have heard about it. Big Pharma would have found a way to sell us all synthetic magic Mellon extract, and melons would be the most expensive food in the world. I’m sure she has nice products, but it’s wild to think people actually believe the “never aging melons” bull.
I wish I could share the conversation between my and my friends when I was saying this to them couple years ago. We didn’t buy into the hype we were just watching from the sidelines and judging lol. Her first mistake was the continuous nonstop launch of the same products but different extravagant wasteful packaging.
He didn’t release in England in the same timeframe as it released in America, so I remember my friend is either having it shipped in for ridiculous money or having to wait until it came over (going into Topshop, but I couldn’t find any information on it). The hype was definitely hyping
At kylie‘s prime era/king kylie era I used to be a Make-up artist who bought A LOT of makeup, I never owned something of Kylie cosmetics since everything bored me af.. i could buy the same shades of her eyeshadow‘s in the drugstore.
They really were the pioneers of this new celebrity ownership cosmetics paradigm. And the fact that she owned 100%, which is still something I don't believe has been replicated by a major celebrity, is amazing.
@@kendi1417 she’s not “self made” like she claims to be.. and yea she already had capital so her owning a 100% is not an accomplishment. And plus when it got sold to Coty then the truth came out

You didn't mention the drama between the 2 Kylies during her cosmetic rise!! And guess what? Minogue only let Jenner use the name for a certain amount of time because Minogue owed the name Kylie before Jenner was even born!!

I think their honestly rebranding at the moment slowly. I think they still need to push it or it’s going to go really bad. I would change the name, logo and find a product that is a legitimate seller and a house name.

I feel like what made Kylie Cosmetics so big was because of Kylie and the hype surrounding the Kardashians as a whole now they’re not as big ofcourse the brand is gonna die…plus Kylie’s cosmetics as a whole have 1 specific look there’s no evolution it’s just that insta baddie look, there’s really no creativity or different looks & vibes…it’s really just a brand that worked with the trend at the time
@@underskinYT good point but I feel like that’s what ties the customer in. It was originally very exciting as a teen to buy a few of her products but I view it as a trend that’s died long, long ago. She’s not the it girl anymore.
I never really hope for the fall of anyone, I hope she continues to do well. But I would also like to see some spots open up in the limelight for new talent, people that could do with financial backing
I have no strong feelings about the kardashians at all. I don't watch reality tv and their lives have very little baring on my own so its all very whatever for me. But I was pretty into the beauty space here in youtube before it imploded and I remember the hype around the launch of the kits. It was massive. The beauty community was going crazy and the Fomo for fans of Kylie.
the haus of gaga rebrand was done very well. for kylie, it wld hv been a game changer to hv diff mascara wands for lash type, but they didnt think that far
There's a comment about this video saying the this Kylie make is no better than cheap drugstore brand at hyped up prices. Well, I've actually purchased both drugstore, department store, and cosmetic stores and have been more disappointed with the Ulta/Sephora brands than with drugstore brands. There have been some cases of buying mascaras that dry up within days, or they promise huge long lashes and I don't see anything that I couldn't get with Maybelline. Ive purchased eyeshadow from Sephora and Ulta that aren't true to color. To me, many of these cosmetic brands are hype and created to separate the fan from their money.
I definitely fell into the hype and bought one of her kits in 2018, but I had already discovered Colourpop around the same time and LOVED their lip products... I thought Kylie was a higher quality brand (not knowing they were essentially the same company). Colourpop was genuinely better formulas and it was half the price. That lost the trust for me as a consumer especially once I learned that they were owned by the same company
She definitely does need her companies though, for so many reasons, theyre something for her to do, a way she can find value in her day to day life, it helps legitimise her wealth status, in order to do her part in securing her childrens future. Theres a lot. Shes rich, but money is finite unless theres this kind of longevity plan
She is billionaire and I honestly don’t think she is sad her brand is flop I mean many brands from sephors and Ulta have been discontinued not only her but kkw was amazing I wish Kim kept it
She looks SO MUCH older than her age. I dont understand why you'd trust anything this family puts out, people have been shown over and over and over that they always rip people off, the quality is ALWAYS awful and its always stolen from someone else. But there are alot of idiots out here who would cut their arm off if pop culture celebrities told them it was the new thing so...
The trend at that time was to have that level of make up that one aged themselves, I remember being in school, and all of the girls looked significantly older than they were, that was just a trend of the time
Amazing video once again. I remember buying two lipkits back in the KingKylie era because i loved her snapchat life. I reckon she'd find success in launching a baby products line as thats very on brand for her and she obviously loves being a mum and has always wnated to have kids
Because what the world really, really needed was yet another celebrity make-up brand. Absolutely essential to the survival of Western Civilisation. What a stellar contribution by the Kardashian/Jenners.
I feel that Kylie lost interest because like the brand was constantly releasing and the passion went away which does happen and she always wanted to do other things. She did grow up pretty fast but who can blame her. The media and society constantly coming for her. I know she is trying to buy back her brand because she doesn’t like how the brand turned so who knows but her fashion brand is amazing the quality is good
I do feel for her, having to deal with all that pressure at such a young age. But I think its the price they are willing to pay for the privilege. They have enough money that if they wanted to dissapear they could.imo I think she lost interest because she started it when she was so young, I still love fashion and retailing like I did when I was that old but O cant imagine being a business owner in it from that age and still trying to find fun in a hobby that had been so heavily commercialised
@@underskinYT that’s very true but I don’t know if you 100% paid attention at the time she was super involved and before she got pregnant with stormi you were able to tell that she was starting to get less and less super excited with launches. 5:44 "Self made" yeah right 😂 I'm sure those family connections, family money, family name, etc didn't help at all was totally just her all on her own 😉
Around this time, I was also heavily into the beauty community but just in the cream blushes, and skin care type lane of make up community. What I did not understand looking at it now is that colourpop was a legit and well respected brand and it was known that she outsourced manufacturing with them so I kind of did not understand some criticism. From what i remember someone saith that they used trick sold out. They dropped a small amount of product with a lot of add so it was sold out asap. We all had an illusion that this product was super popular and that they dropped a bunch of products to the market.
Its a lot of heavy make up for someone so young, but thats how she likes portraying herself, so props to ya momma
...and the plastic surgery.
I remember being 13 and she was 11 and thinking holy shit she looks like she could be 15! She grew up too fast.
Her insanely long hair doesn’t help - it actually ages her.
It’s probably just from a place of insecurity. She is very scrutinised, so it wouldn’t surprise me if she had a lot of difficulties in that area
You gave yourself away with
"especially the Kardashian Jenner clan"
Just say you don't like them people and move around huh lol
Y'all kill me with that BS ...
They all GOOD I promise 😂 you not buying anything of theirs clearly didn't stop shit lol
But you chose to air your grievances under a video of people who you clearly don't like, for what? Now that you got that off your chest, you feel better?
Yea the lying was pointless
Thank you
I always wondered why people wouldn't just save up their money for lip injections instead of a 'lip kit' - lip filler is only the cost of a few of those and then you don't even need the lip kit
I tried them out in Sephora and I’m happy that I didn’t purchase anything. Quality of a cheap drugstore makeup staff, and ridiculously overpriced!
Its the same quality as colourpop, its meant to be that level, but of course theres a premium for her name

I’ve always wondered who supports any Kardashian/Jenner brand. They’re pretty polarizing.
I think they're liked for the same reasons any other celebrity is liked.
@@bnwo I wonder the same thing about people who support other polarizing successful people such as Trump or Elon Musk. Someone in America is buying all those red hats and Teslas. And it’s weird to imply if someone doesn’t like Kardashians they are racist?

I’ve discussed that in so many other videos, I didn’t want to seem like I was rehashing old ideas
True. The person who made this video is clearly one of those who hates the Kardashian clan. But it was educational never the less. This kid Kylie is made for life under the age of 25. Theres alot of people selling crap, so she’s one of them. She did it smart and fast.

Yeah definitely I also think sales would be much reduced if she wasnt attached
Smoke and glitter, like everything they do. The video of her in that pink set, doing a facial in full makeup and wearing rings, it's eye- rolling, like, just eff off. Its so transparent that it's a merch line, if her fans weren't teenagers, it wouldn't sell at all.
the facial in make up got me too ahahah
Amazing video! I have issues with this brand... it's so...cheap. From her image to packaging, logo etc. She doesn't seem passionate about it, i don't know. I don't like KKW either but I see it more refined than Kylie's. Oh, I remember when she tried to snatch the rights of KYLIE when Kylie Minogue has been using for literally decades 😭☠️ the entitlement of it all, just like Kim
The packaging really does need to change, it’s easily the worst thing about the business right now
She’s making Claire’s makeup and selling it for high end prices… like… how???

She is not a billionaire. They lied. A bit like they lied that you can get her lips from the lip kits. You need injections for that. The fact she has a lot of followers means nothing. @@1SkorpiaUnfortunately they did. But I’m glad more and more people come to their senses.
Yeah, I think colourpop did that too, it’s really dishonest, is that the word?
The only thing I know is they had a walnut scrub which is wild, at least sell your fans overpriced cosmetics that don't damage their skin.

Iman was one of the first celebrities to start a cosmetics business
I just got another request for her actually, I need to look into it more
This family has a lot of instances of jumping into something they claim to be passionate about and then fizzling out within a year or so. Also, I’m sure a lot of fans grew up and saw she DID have lip fillers for a lot of that (which when she initially denied, many youth believed) and it wasn’t the makeup that was the secret, so quietly bowed out.
We all wish we had the money to make businesses of our hobbies
I do wonder is it because it can be a year or longer behind the scenes before it launches, then by the time launch happens and the company is a few years old it’s probably 5+ years. So not surprised they go through phases of being passionate for the produxtsb
Typical Armenian scam artists…this is all money laundering because Kris has been trafficking all of her girls their entire lives.
Shes been media trained so long she doesnt come across genuinely
She was doing what was hot at the time. Now her look/as well as Kim and khloes looks looks dated. Heavy makeup, contoured face, fake tans , bbls, plastic surgery etc. The fashion is overly sexy. The new generation is more organic. Less makeup.
I love that we’re going into our ‘support small craftsman shops’ era it’s the best. People like kylie have everything by handed to them, no passion, no knowledge just cold cash.
I hope that continues for sure. I really agree. There was just nothing special about the Kylie brand after that initial lip kit, they failed to make up innovations
Around this time, I was also heavily into the beauty community but just in the cream blushes, and skin care type lane of make up community.
What I did not understand looking at it now is that colourpop was a legit and well respected brand and it was known that she outsourced manufacturing with them so I kind of did not understand some criticism. Her inflating the prices was a well discussed sore spot though. This was quite a while back and I wasnt her demographic so I may be missing something.
Yeah colourpop was the hottest brand at the time, the height of popularised makeup. There was good reason she signed with them, but they werent really her formulas to share
I’m glad to see people have finally gotten sick of these people and them flaunting fake looks and money
They still sell, they still get clicks, I dont think theyre going anywhere any time soon
@@underskinYT because of idiots and they brain wash weak minded people that view them as role models probably like the idiots who think Biden got 81 million votes
@@underskinYT the mom is an evil genius pimp selling her daughters for money and fame look up Kylie and yachting it’s disgusting
@@underskinYT that very sick attitude about all about money and you all think that means ultimate success open your eyes how many of these people actually look happy even with all their fame and fortune wake up! Find real decent role models read the Bible God is going to change everything very soon
REAL TALK. I have never bought anything from ANY of the Kardashians nor kept up with any of them as they have NO REAL TALENT aside from being rich and I will NEVER support them so I look forward to the day I can say GOOD RIDDANCE 💯 ❤
They both got into a makeup line was too fast. What do they know about about different skin textures and all the chemicals and not so good stuff put into these makeup lines. Also do they have their own makeup scientist that test all these things. It’s not all natural stuff. I would not buy anything from these lines. I will stick to my Laura geller, Jodi Marin , Bare Minerals etc.
I think thats all down to the chemists they use tbh
Damn it was an era
Oh for sure and it gets to forgotten now
The lip kits are iconic! That’s just the tea
very iconic
Saw it coming. Quality of her products and creativity is just plain mediocre.
You think theyll rebrand?
not gonna lie there were several of her products that were really really good. they were overpriced though.
Everything feels overpriced these days honestly
Well, you can't keep selling plastic surgery as makeup forever.
🙈
It’s funny how they are (2 years?) on the German market finally. When I was a teenager I would be so crazy about about the launch.
Gosh, that is very late
Well, the brand may be struggling, but she sold her share for about $600,000,000... It made her very very rich.
Please do a video on SKKN!
Oh thatd be so interesting!
Ngl. Her ‘Boy Bye’ liquid lip is my absolute favorite lipstick and I went through an entire tube. Her formulas actually lasted me all day.
Idk about her other products but those lippies were amazing. They also smelled amazing .
I love when you find a great product
I was given the Candy K Lip Kit when it first came out and I actually loved it. But by the time I wanted to buy another kit, the formula of both the liner and the liquid lip were drastically different. I was gifted the eyeshadow palette and glosses too, but they didn’t really make me want to buy from the brand.

Sooo happy to say I’ve never bought tried on or wanted any of her lame cosmetics. The whole family hasn’t sold me ONE item! And ive never watched their show! I feel so pure and intelligent

From what i remember someone saith that they used trick sold out. They dropped a small amount of product with a lot of add so it was sold out asap. We all had an illusion that this product was super popular and that they dropped a bunch of products to the market. This illusion was like Instagram likes - the more likes post has the more likes will get even if post is not great. If number of available products was visible for customers it wouldn't be most wanted product and wouldn't make them millions of dollars. I hope you understand what I wanted to say....
* someone said..... rorry keyboard changing words
Illusion it's an old marketing trick
Perception is nearly always the key to success, refardless if its warramted or not
Quality is cheap❗️❗️ I will not buy again❗️❗️
It’s a real shame, but that seems to be a common theme with celebrity brands
I simply do not understand how folks continue to be fascinated by these people
Simply, people are just fascinated with money
clean beauty has nothing to do with clean girl aesthetic. clean beauty is just a marketing term that just refers to not using specific "bad" ingredients.
She still has some good stuff. Her lippies. Her eyeshadow pallettes were crap for the price. That was the one thing people wanted THE MOST at the time. Her powders like bronzers/blush are ok. Like any brand - it has misses.
It seems like most companies, these days are not the sum of their product, but the sum of their marketing. I love marketing, but its not a good thing
Now I wonder if she will push her baby line more since she's semi active with the cosmetics line 1:18
I think she will personlaly
Found Kylie Jenner in TK Max hehe
the place with all the best makeup hahah
I bought a liquid lip kit 2 years ago. I love the colour and that’s it. I don’t need another.
Which colour did you get?
I never liked the Kardashians so I'm proud that I have never bought any of the things that they support or make there show off in my view and are very rude..
Realize she didn't come up with formulation of these cosmetics it was just her name and she probably didn't even have a choice in the color she sold. You would need at least a master's degree in chemistry. A lot hype over lipstick no better than Wet N Wild brand.
Its branding that sells the product for sure
Seeing a Kylie Dior commercial as the ad before this video is…ironic
💀💀
The women in my family wear/ wore a specific type of makeup brand (I won't say the name b/c I want "influencers" to leave it alone but its well known).. I never wanted nor did i have anything to do with Kylie's brand or her sister's stuff. I never "Kept up with the Kardashians"🤭
you made me so curious now

I don’t understand the massive hate towards her makeup products, like it’s okay if you don’t like her but it’s not like she’s spends time in the lab creating makeup by herself. I had some lipsticks, lipglosses and eyeshadow palettes, they were okay. Didn’t become my favorites but I quite enjoyed using them. But again, it’s 100% similar to colourpop
You can never please everyone, very unfair fs 🙄
hell yuh a kylie one,, im just staring this vid but i hope he talks abt the walnut face scrub from her skin care line
scrubby scrubby
