Yeah you're right it's still on driver. I have one of these, the full setup, $2,500 and to be honest it's not worth it. It's a video game on steroids. What you get out of your shots on the range are not what you get on the course, no wind etc. so it makes playing a round very hard. Plus I cannot putt on it for shit no matter what I do.
I put mine in the garage and there's room in there but I like to hit down on the ball which isn't easy to do with those sensors so close to the impact. It took me several nights to try and dial in my distances where you edit clubs but they're still not right. You're very welcome and if I were you I would save my money, all I'm doing now is hitting balls off the mat that came with it ($350) into the screen which has helped my impact but hell I could do that somewhere else much cheaper. My ceiling height is 8'9 I cut the EMT poles to 8'5 and I have plenty of room but I am short, 5'6 so that makes a difference swinging except that I still try and hold off my follow through for fear of hitting the garage door tracks. Sorry this got so long.
+TheJhaley12 no worries on length haha, one if my main issue is working on hitting my driver straight and since I won't have enough room even though my basement is 9 ft tall (I'm 6 feet tall) this won't have much use to me. thanks again anyways though
practicing your swing make you worse because? This does tell you when your shot is straight which is the most important thing about your swing. So, if anything, it does the exact opposite of what you suggest...
One quick tip if you do get one is to get a piece to 3/4" mdf to stand on so your feet are the same height as the sensors on the OptiShot
i want this so bad. imma buy it next paycheck
I don't know that i would call that a review. More of an informative video about what it is....... and how much it costs.
The guy on the right obviously has never played golf if he thinks $500 is a lot of money....
Yep That's one round for a foursome at many courses. Two at the most.
shot a 72 on 9 holes!!?? xD you should compete in "The worlds worst golfers" :P
might not help you with your game but it looks fun to play with family and friends with a few beers...
JNRdrigz how does it not help with your game?
it clearly helps your game...
but what happens when a hack golfer hits it fat and smashes the leds?
that would be me!!
Everyone has a good shot at smashing it just trying a new swing, new knee position....its gotta be strong!
Leo Sanchez the simulator works with foam balls or no ball at all if you like. It just measures the club head passing two rows of infrared lights.
that 5 iron tho
can u use it outside
no it does react well to sunlight
Now $299.
Stick t
o Golf Club VR I think
Hi
this guy hit a ball 214 yards with an iron? lol I don't think so.
I think it was still set to driver. Look at the bottom right at 1:40 and 2:00

+TheJhaley12 thanks for the heads up, I probably wasn't going to buy it because I don't have the ceiling room anyways
