Thanks. It is not a blue tarp, I was going to buy a white tarp but i couldn't find one, so instead I bought a light tan tarp, but when your hitting you can't tell the difference. The projector is on a projector stand I built with scrap pieces, but it is very sturdy and the projector won't fall out. I have a Epson EX5210 and it is 14 feet away from the tarp, but all projectors are different and the length you should put it at will be different depending on your projector. I hope I was helpful.
Thanks. The tarp is wrapped and screwed to the wood on all corners so that the ball will not escape. You can use both real or fake balls it doesn't matter.
I know this video is like seven years old now, but I just saw your golf simulator, looks pretty sweet, wish I had a place to build something like that, but great job nonetheless. Maybe you could give us an update on if you still use it? Or if it was just a passing trend? Thanks
Brilliant, I'm very impressed. Nice job with the tutorial too. Can you tell me more about where to get the "stable mat" and the dimensions and cost? Thanks
Nice....but you left out IMPORTANT details like what brand projector and WHERE the projector is mounted. I'd also guess the enclosure would be more stable and MUCH easier to move if the studs were covered with strand board or similar stabilizing material. Nice job tho.
I think this is a great setup and I am planning on doing the same thing. I have a couple of questions. The tarp that your hitting into. Is it just the regular blue tarps that they sell? The second question is where is the projector located and how far back from the screen was it. I couldnt tell from the video.
Okay thanks for the info. I watched the video again just to see if I could catch the angle of the Projector. I am assuming if you are 6' tall than you have it at least 7'-9' and directly behind you correct?. Since I didnt see any shadowing until you were right next to the Tarp.
Thank you friend! This is "Class." I am a PGA certified in "Swing" bio-mechanics. I am working on a very similar project in Billings, MT. We should "swap" ideas, sir. I really appreciate your enthusiasm kiddo. Cheers!
You can see the tractor right next to his sim. Would have to be a huge house if his family parks their farm equipment in the living room dont you think? :D
Anthony Newgent do you think he's magically going to be your neighbor? 300 million people in the United States and this guy is your neighbor. Sure here's some extra matting come over for a beer and hot dog while you're at it.
Dude the boat jacks were genius
Love the ingenuity behind this. Thanks for the tip on the pad, I've been looking for something like this.
The A-Team intro is the best part
Anything related to golf is never a waste of time :)

Great job man!
What material did you use for your landing mat?
great job. impressive.
Awesome job!
Did the software require any specific measurements and camera angles?
Thank You. I bought the from a hardware store called Harbor Freight.
so no net, just a white tarp? what size?
what about the projector?
The projector is hung at 9' high and is angled at somewhere between 30-35 degrees, but every projector is different. It is directly behind me

I did not catch what you said you used for the projector screen could you please reply
U still can.put foam on it lol
Like the project, but you need to actually listen to your video before you upload it. The music is MUCH louder than your voice!
where do you live? I have some extra matting if you like

I used a light tan tarp I bought from Home Depot
dimensions?
little things you could improve on, but i would appreciate it at my house as is :D
This sucks waste of a spring break
Its a piece of shit. I could have done better in my sleep
