Exposition of the Gospel of Luke - Chapter 3 vs 18-38
John the Baptist would not be silenced when calling out sin, chaos, and corruption. John is thus arrested and thrown in prison for preaching repentance unto forgiveness of sins to the multitudes, including the rich and politically powerful. Jesus, (the last Adam & the Seed of the woman), begins His earthly ministry.
