Brother, listening to your expositions over the years about the importance of the word and in my journey of reading through and considering David’s insights in Psalm 119 recently have been driving home this truth more and more. I pray the Lord continues to impart these revelations as we study and feed on this more sure, certain and reliable word.

Deny your "self". Every place we think or say, "I, me, or my" ought to give us clues who were talking about or doing something for. Putting this under is the only way we can truly follow the Messiah. If we won't get out of His way, He'll have no place to live in us.

Spiritual warfare is a very real thing. Months after being born again, the voice of a spirit of suicide came upon me and convinced me to begin rehearsing the ending of my life. Praise the Lord He intervened and told me I was listening to the wrong voice. It changed my life forever. Today He brings others from time to time who need similar help understanding God’s will for their life and how to get free. There is nothing more thrilling than to see someone come to the saving knowledge of the truth and make their choice to lay everything down to follow Jesus.

Wow! This is real revelation to me as we grow from disciple to servant to friend to son/daughter which is 0 - 30-fold - 60-fold - 100-fold.

It continues to amaze me how Holy Spirit connects the dots between the Old and New Testaments. Lots of gold in this teaching from what Jesus taught about "7 soils" to Abraham's altars to personal testimony. All good stuff that the body of Christ has likely not much heard before!

It’s so interesting that I’ve been exploring this topic of presumption recently then here comes a sound teaching on just what it is, how to see it, and what to do when we come across it - whether in ourselves or others. I always appreciate your faithfulness to dig in and stay the course when Holy Spirit downloads the track He wants to to run on in these teachings. Very well delivered message today brother! Either we believe the word of God -- all of it -- of we don't. This message is equally important for those who are in the faith as it is for those outside of the faith, as it is hard to distinguish one from the other these days. But as you reminded us from the word of God, none of us has any excuse to not know what is true. God made it clear in His creation. Your plea in love at the end of the message reminded me of a video I saw years ago that I found a more recent and short version of regarding an atheist who gives accolades to a man for sharing what he believed to be the truth about eternal life. It sure makes a difference and brings light to our understanding when we take the whole counsel of God (the entire Biblical context) into consideration. Sadly, it is a rarity. Having listened to brother Rob's teachings now for many years, this point continues to be driven home. I may be slow to "get it" at first and need to see it from many different perspectives because of my thick headedness, but through perseverance and a ready mind and heart, these "washings" with the water of the Word are doing exactly what Paul admonishes believers to do in Romans 12:2, "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind..." so we can intimately know and walk in a deep and trusting relationship with the true living God, which is His good and acceptable and perfect will for our born again lives with Him. Amen. Thank you brother Rob for pouring out your life in this way for all of us who have ears to hear the truth, and faithfully live it to the best we're able with God's help, and pass it on to others as He leads. I know your road has not been easy and you have faced many adversities most others will never hear about. But you sir have been an answer to prayer to me personally for the past 15 years (this month) since the day we first met. My life has been forever changed because of your faithfulness to selflessly submit yourself to the Holy written Word of God and Holy Spirit's leadership. I pray more people begin to see what they've been missing through your meaty teachings, their own diligent study, and by living this Word. This is not an ego stroke brother because on your own you couldn't do it. But I am in awe of how our God is able to draw men and women unto Himself, especially those like you who are so rarely willing to pay the cost of being a true disciple, regardless of how high the stakes. sometimes we can mistake our familiarity with the term or phrase with our understanding of it, if you are not terribly sure what is meant by the kingdom of god, then keep reading, did you know that the phrase,”kingdom of god” occurs 122 times in the New Testament? did you know that 99 of these occurrences are found in the synoptic gospel ( Matthew, mark, and Luke)? did you know that 90 of those 99 occurrences come from the mouth of Jesus? Yeah, me neither, that was until i read Jesus of Nazareth, volume 1, by, pope emeritus Benedict, if you haven’t yet read it yet, you really should, let’s examine three historic and harmonizing interpretations of the kingdom of god, each of which shed light on this important concept, here we see that “the kingdom is not a thing, it is not a geographical dominion like worldly kingdoms, it is a person; it is he, on this interpretation, the term kingdom of god’ is itself a veiled christology, by the way in which he speaks of the kingdom of god, Jesus leads men to realize the overwhelming fact that in him god himself is present among them, that he is god’s presence,” Jesus of Nazareth part 1, here we see that the kingdom of god resides in the heart of man, church father, origin (1) wrote, “those who pray for the coming of the kingdom of god pray without any doubt for kingdom of god that they contain in themselves, and they pray that this kingdom might bear fruit and attain its fullness, here we see that the kingdom of god is in the here and now, present in and through the church, yet it is a mixed reality that will only be perfectly realized at the end of history, this current “mixed” state can be seen as the church on earth which now grows in the field of the world with both weeds and wheat until the harvest when Christ says he will “tell the reapers, gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned , but gather the wheat into my barn” Matthew 13:30

Choosing to lay down my life to become a disciple of Jesus Christ cost me my family and a nearly 29 year marriage. Was it worth it? Absolutely, yes! The life we live today is so short, but eternity never ends. Jesus is enough!

It’s a choice to become a disciple. The church must be the center of the community in order to train and equip us to be a doer of the word.

It is also especially for the UK ( where I'm from). The UK is all but a spiritual wasteland.

A word from the Lord indeed!! I am in tears All but struck dumb as you unpacked the awesome significance of the temple of old and the FACT that we are now the temple of God! In recent months again and again I have become profoundly aware of the immeasurable gap between the glory and power of the pages of the word of God and my life. Sadly this realisation has come to me in my seventies. My calling has always been intercession. I HAVE to heed this word. The Lord has spoken. I go away weeping with this needed rebuke. Yet with hope, hope to yet be a true servant and intercesor for the Lord.
