- Hey everyone, here's another cover. It's the rough mix version off of the deluxe edition, because the regular would get flagged for copyright. Love the driving drums in this song, it's a ton of fun to play. Hope you enjoy!
I’ve heard a lot or of people try to play this and many are very good. But they weren’t right. You nailed it!
Not just the notes but the essence and the groove.
Great job👍 You made it your own. 😀🥁
Awesome job loved it !!!!
Great!
So I'm not saying this to be sarcastic, but I did notice a couple of TINY mistakes, otherwise you did a great job with this one. It's actually inspiring to see other drummers make a tiny mistake and then jump right back in, right on time. It reminds me that I'm not the only one that makes those mistakes. I've even seen footage of Bonham completely dropping the beat at a Zeppelin show, it made me smile. I've been working on covering this song too, but you're better at it than me so far.
well , its a drum cover, its kinda impossible to mimic someones style of playing, i think he did his own take, pretty much his own personal groove moment you know, what mostly blown me away was his fills!, so many ghost notes between them, it's amazing!
I’m not sure what would’ve been considered sarcastic😂 I think you meant I’m not trying to sound like an asshole but you made a few tiny mistakes , good job overall
Sounds amazing 🧡
Visable proof of groove enjoyment! Very fluid 👌
Thanks man!
I had totally forgot about this song, thanks for bringing it back and fantastic job.
Thanks for commenting!
♥️♥️♥️
Terrific job! Is the crash cymbal near your hi hat an 18" 2002? CRASH or THIN CRASH?
It's an 18" crash, the furthest left one above my toms is a 16" thin crash, and the middle one beside the ride is a 20" medium crash. All 2002. Thanks for commenting!!
Thank you sir! It looks a wee bit smaller than an 18. I thought you might answer that it was a 17”.
bonzoleum god damn it, Terry! It's like great sex and you are asking about the brand of lube and how much was used right after the deed! 🤣😉
TheDrummerboy1999: Your playing is absolutely phenomenal! This is extraordinary. ‘Carouselambra’ is most definitely one of my favourite Led Zeppelin songs. The song; the arrangement; the performance ― the finesse; Pagey’s innovative production techniques; the signature sound of Polar Studios; the Harrison console; the sound of Bonzo’s stainless steel shell Ludwig Pro Beat drums and Paiste 2002 Big Beat Series CuSn8 bronze alloy formulation percussion; Jonesy’s Yamaha GX-1 ― ‘The Dream Machine’ ― keyboard; Pagey’s chiming, droning and lurching heritage cherry double-neck Gibson electric guitar, and Percy’s lyrics. Suffice to say, I just cannot get enough of Led Zeppelin recording at ABBA’s Polar Studios, Stockholm! (And you playing along with the recording!) Thank you for sharing. Cheers!
Nice groove. Nice drums!
Thanks!
Great job!!!
Thanks!
Bonzo é coração que pulsa a 1000 cavalos de potência!
Love it!
Thanks!
FUCKING NAILED IT MATE! \m/
Bloody Great! loved it!
Thanks!
That was truly awesome! Fantastic job. Thank you for sharing your talent and obvious passion! You've elevated my appreciation for Bonham's drumwork by demonstrating it in all of the glorious, subtle details here. Rock on!

Awesome all around , your drums sound great !
Thanks!
Great cover, never missed a beat !!! Thanks for sharing, tell me you live in Texas. Please ??? I subscribed !!!
There is a hypnotic spazziness to your playing that I freaking love...we gotta get the band back together bruv! 🤙 (But Bozoleum has slightly better hair...regardless of it's dubious composition 🤣)
Thanks haha!
Heyo first comment. Awesome. Way to kill it in 10 minutes dude ;) keep it up man
Thanks man!!
This is what it would look like had Jimmy Page played drums for Led Zeppelin. (but seriously dude... awesome job!!)
Liked and subbed!
Thanks!!
nice....but the sound is all over the place
Nice tuning, and hihat work.
Thanks!
Jumped out at 1:06
do you ever hit your knuckles?
No, I've hit my fingers on the rims of the drums before, with my finger caught between the stick and drum... ouch.
i sticked mine until i raised the hats.
I knew Jack White was a better drummer than Meg
You know what i have to go one up from fantastic, that was outstanding.
Thanks!!
Wrong ...because if you really really listen you will here John at the very end it that JPJ keyboard shuffle , on the rider cymbal while working the toms and keeping timing with his foot. That phrasing by Bonzo is rarely mentioned in his repertoire but to me is one of the most subtle and powerful things he has ever done...listen to the outro , it's John on the rider...
Yeah, I just sort of played it. He switches to it in the last 20 seconds on the fade out. Thanks for commenting anyway!
TheDrummerboy1999 you make it look effortless though..nice job...great tone also.
d cc You did a great job...Bonzo also works the bell on the ride cymbal at the end too...just crank the stereo during fade out.
Jimmy page can play drums as well!!!
dude.....fuck.....
Thanks!!?!?! :D
Really good cover but your drums are tuned way low
Only the snare was tuned WAY low for this, like I should've put it up a bit, but the other drums are tuned really high.
TheDrummerboy1999 yea i guess it is just the snare but still really good cover
Thanks a lot, man! :D
