- Fixing your H-Series security camera's connection is pretty simple, but if you're used to terminating network cables, it may look a little scary at first. But don't worry! We made this video to walk you through the whole process.
If you haven't already watched our video on the R-Series process, go ahead and watch that one first:
In one sense, H-Series cameras are easier to fix than R-Series cameras. That's because H-Series does have all eight wires to line up in our RJ45 connector, whereas the R-Series cams only had six.
In another sense, these cameras can still be a bit tricky because they are different colors than you might be used to. However, each wire corresponds to another wire on a standard Ethernet cable, so it's just a matter of lining them up in the correct order, which is...
1. Orange
2. Yellow
3. Green
4. Purple
5. Gray
6. Blue
7. Brown
8. White
Check out the links below to pick up the tools you need for this project! Don't forget to tune in next week to see this same process on a Uniview camera.

Is there another series besides "H" and "R" , the color combos on Zosi cameras have blue strip/solid blue, 2 red wires, 2 black wires, purple, green strip/green solid. Need direction on how to connect with rj45
I have connected the Rj45 well to the camera and NVR but some of the cameras keeps going off and comes back on
Have a nice day, have a nice day, I watched your videos, you did a great job, I have a request from you. I have a Panasonic K-EW114L03E ip camera with a disconnected ethernet port and I can't sort it out. I tried the h series. brown-black-white-red-green-gray-yellow please help me to light this keyston or rj45, thank you very much.
Why not just punch down a jack instead of using a coupler? They make ones with the weather proof boot just like the camera comes with.
For sure, there are a few different ways to do this depending on what tools you have on hand. We do have a video in the works showing how to use punch down jacks as well!
i have a lorex model # LNBB973-C and i tried this fix but for some reason it didn't work any suggestions to get it to work? Thank you.
