The people who watch your videos aren't the ones who leave trash. You're preaching to the choir... LOL... Love that cabin. I've spent many beautiful nights there. Been going there since the 90s.

Very cool!... I've been in the lower workings of the Santa Rosa, but never the upper areas where you entered/explored at, thanks!

Thanks! It is crazy how immense the mine is on the inside.

Litterbugs are a pet peeve. Good on you for the cleanup and PSA.
You and I are the same age. That newspaper from 71 is a neat find.
Please be careful about disclosing too much about local geography and sites in their relation to area's not disclosed (first special cabin).
    😉

The weather station is still sitting in the same spot.

We spent a couple of nights there in February in some heavy rainstorms and left it cleaner than it was when we got there. It's sad to see trash strewn around, how much trouble is it to clean up after yourselves, huh? We only found the lighting on the last night we were there, never noticed the plug until then.

Sounds like fun! Did it leak in the rain?

Yes, the new patch that somebody did to the roof leaked badly into the bedroom and still needs to be sealed around the edges.@@advfamily

I am actually surprised that was the only place it leaked. Good thing it doesn’t rain very much out there!

    I only leave trash 🚮
Where people are paid to clean it up. ⬆️
