I ran through a converter of this (I started filling pens with the inkvent inks when I got the calendar, but only opened a door when I'd emptied a pen & so I only opened 4) & really liked it. It reminded me of a tea set my grandmother once had--or of a patterned pashmina scarf--the ink really sets a mood. Not my favorite even from the first four days, but a gorgeous ink and I'm glad we still get a sprinkling of standard colors.
Now that you mention it I do have a pashmina that is almost this color. I also opened this one early. I was having a terrible day and I decided to watch a spoiler video up until I found an ink that would greatly improve my outlook. Fortunately, that only took two days. This one is definitely going to be a favorite of mine.
Thank you for doing inkvent again this year! Last year, I enjoyed opening along with you. This year, I'm living vicariously through your videos. Im looking forward to the rest of inkvent :).
I really love this color! It's got an "old english rose" feel to it and since it's a standard ink, I'm willing to risk putting it in my favorite vintage pen. The shading is awfully nice and it doesn't feel too much like a bubble gum or candy pink.
Thank you for another beautiful video! Can I just say I really love the B reels you put in, and as a fellow Seattle native the from-the-window shots resonate so much!
Ahh, I'm glad someone appreciates those :-) I always think about putting more in, but imagine that many people care about that sort of thing. Maybe I'll add in a bit more now and then.
I agree, the Midori paper works best here. I applaud your Inkvert patience, Matthew; one reel per day, recapping the “Advent” like Diamine release. Agnostic troglodytes are reviewing every doors offering, but I’m boycotting their presumptuous urgency. Until tomorrow…be well…and know you’re respected. 👍
Thanks for another gorgeous video, Matthew: you are the King of Inkvent! I was surprised that I, too, like this color, considering I am mainly a fan of green, brown, and orange 🍊 inks. I’ve got the calendar, but I nonetheless look forward to tomorrow’s video. 😊
Hmmm - I'm not sure about this one. I already have 5 Cent Fuchsia, which is very different because of the greenish overtone. But this one I am not really wild about. But, thank you so much for doing these videos!
This is really good ink colour. I really loved this one. Your writing is also really beautiful. Shading is seen which gives a different charm. See you tomorrow. Keep up the good work 😊👍
Not going to lie, I ended up skipping getting my own Inkvent this year because I just don't like having all the little 12 ml bottles rolling around and I'm just as satisfied watching you do your daily swatches/writing samples. I can wait for the big bottles of the colors I do like. Thank you so much for doing this again this year!
@@Tea_Mist They did drop it... but I don't know why. I haven't done any searching for information yet since I want to avoid spoilers. I'll get to the bottom of it at some point.
I’m calling it - going to be in my top 3.
A bold prediction... but one that I think I can get behind. It will definitely be in my top 5, I think.

I'm not a big fan of glittery inks, and now that the sheening inks are gone, these rare days with standard inks are a joy 🙂

I always love your Inkvent videos. Thanks for making them again this year!
Thanks 🙂
I like this one. Crazy how different it looks on different papers.
This one is a winner for me. 🏆

I really like this one too, though at first it looked fairly red to me, and now it looks more and more pink each time I see it :-)
I really love this colour. Feels like a warm cashmere blanket to snuggle in.
Although of course I’m Australia it isn’t winter 😂
It's not terribly wintery here in Seattle at the moment either, but cool enough that a sweater still sounds good. Maybe not in this color for me...
This was a beautiful color, and I'm tempted to get it in a pen right away!
Really love this one!
Such a nice soft, warm color... and useful, too 🙂
Oooo, I really like this one! Interesting to see the different tones/shades on the various papers.
Agreed :-) I've found that it is reliably cooler/pinker on Tomoe River, Iroful, and Cosmo papers so far.
Love the music choice 😊
It is interesting to see how different the ink looks on different papers!
Agreed! It's a pretty significant difference this time.

Thanks Kathy, I'm glad you're enjoying the videos 😀
I really like your videos!! The presentation and music are great and soothing. Keep it up! :)
Thank you 🙂

Mine too! Though I admit, not a lot of competition yet.
This is really good ink colour. I really loved this one.
Your writing is also really beautiful.

Thank you!
I love dusty colors like this! Day 3 is a little dusty too 😜
Agreed :-)

Hmm... maybe I'll do the same thing next year :-) Especially now that they've dropped the "sheening" ink category! 🙂
Oh wow did they drop it? Did they give a reason why? @@thewetpen

I'll be waiting for your discovery Detective Wet Pen. xD @@thewetpen
It is a warm rose color...like autumn leaves
Yep... maybe a little more pink than that on some papers, but a lovely color
At first it was meh.. but it is growing on me. :-) I like your videos very much!
Thank you :-)
Cashmere itself is derived from Kashmir.
Is Tomoe river completely gone?
It is still on the market while old stock sells out, and it might take a while, but no more will be made.
Nice color but still a bit too pale for my taste.
