Astral just took my breath away! It’s a beautiful black but that shimmer and sheen really adds so much dimension to it! Astral is definitely my favourite, followed by Nightfall and then Masquerade ❤❤
I really appreciated that you took the time to talk through which inks were drier... it makes me curious to find out why lower saturation colors have the issue. Definitely looking forward to quite a few of these inks... Cashmere Rose reminds me of a David Austin rose color and Sugar Snap Pea, Bah Humbug and Lavender Frost look to be fast favorites. Bah Humbug!! I love the name and the color. Of all the colors and names, it is the one ink that fits perfectly with my Christmas tradition. Every year around this time, in any version, I watch Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol. Bah Humbug indeed!

Buck's Fizz is a cocktail made up of Prosecco (or Champagne) and Orange Juice. Also the name of the British band that won the Eurovision Dong Contest in 1981. As for the inks that caught my liking - Sugar Snap, Astral, Bah Humbug and Moonbeam.
The ink that immediately captured my attention was Bah Humbug, it’s has a lovely depth of color. I think a good idea for next year’s inkvent would be to introduce more literary and historical references for the ink names, and perhaps a few words regarding their choices, much like the inflight does. Thank you very much for sharing!
Did anyone win this! I really like those colors. My fave is the emerald one. I’m new to fountain pens and I use the preppy pens in extra fine. Just learned how to use them without a cartridge! I tend to use standard inks but those shimmers and chameleon inks are so pretty. I suppose it’s time to try different nibs to use these inks. Does anyone recommend any spiral bound notebooks for fountain pens? What do people do for ink storage for a haul like this advent calendar?
The journey this year’s INKvent takes us on I really find fun and dynamic. That Bah Humbug is the perfect shade of red for a vintage style holiday…as soon as they release a big bottle for Astral it will be perfect for the Estie Raven… and Raise A Glass is going to be fun to welcome a new year and new beginnings and wish everyone well. (I also suspect it will have beautiful chromatographic properties!) Side note for Weeping Willow - not often depicted in holiday scenery because of its bare branches. However, because its leaves are often seen as the first to re-emerge after winter the weeping willow can represent hope and strength in adversity, healing & growth - kinda perfect for an Advent calendar. Thank you for a well presented and organized Inkvent spoiler!
Beautiful colors this year. My favorites are lavender frost, rainbow's end, and fireside snug. I really want to like moon beam but I think I prefer moon dust from their other line of inks. Thank you for the video and doing such a generous giveaway!
What fun! I really wish I'd put on my winter PJs and fixed a mug of hot cocoa for this. A very exciting assortment, here, and there are several that ring my jingle bells, for sure. This is the first year I can genuinely say I'd be really excited to get the advent calendar. Bah Humbug is a standout for me, as are Sugar Snap; Weeping Willow; Lavender Frost; Nightfall; and Velvet Emerald. I'm also very intrigued by the new 'star bright' distinction. Would be interesting to see that same type of finish applied to some of their other colors!

I’m impressed Tom that managed to keep your hands ink free through 24 different bottles. I can’t seem to do that when inking up only one pen😝 I think I can narrow my favourite down to 2 inks without seeing them in person. Walnut and Raise a glass were both such rich colours that stood out to me right away. And I just started using brown ink recently. Thanks for the video!

Whoa! A 50+minute-r! My favorite was glacier. Although im not super partial to shimmer inks, the eyedropper pen mode is a good idea for these kinds of inks (a pen mode i havent tried, but it makes sense with hard to clean inks such as shimmer) another great one, Tom! Cant believe youve had time to make the video with all of the magazine work youve been doing lol
Rainbows End! I am always attracted to these kind of blueish purplely shades and it is also a chameleon so even more going on in the ink. Sugar Snap is also a lovely color as I love how it is a muted green.
My favorite color from 2023 is Astral. The iridescent darkness evokes the mystery and beauty of the depths of space. I also like how well the darker shading on Jacaranda matches the color of the fallen lavender blossoms crushed underfoot on the sidewalk. How does one fix a burping Preppy that has been eye-droppered? Thanks for taking the time to swatch all those inks!
Very difficult to choose a favorite. All are very pretty. But I liked Masquerade the most because it’s hard to say if it’s pink or taupe brown. Thanks for sharing.

I am with you on your favorite with Fireside Snug. it is Very reminiscent of Noodler's Apache Sunset but a bit darker I think. I assume it would shade well with broader nibs.

Thank you for this film. I love inkvent spoilers! My personal favourite is Bah Humbug. It's a beautiful, non-standard color. It may not have the Christmas spirit, but it is magnetic in its own right. I really like Early Dusk. It looks like shadows in the snow when you return from a long winter walk under the last light of the setting sun.
My favourite is Weeping Willow because the colour is so interesting and I love the Weeping Willow trees. I imagine the chromoshading will be fantastic for art.
My favorite inks in this review were Early Dusk, Cinnabun, and Fireside Snug. The others look good in the swatches, but I think there was too much shimmer in this year's InkVent Calendar. I prefer using ink to write with and not having to worry about the feed getting clogged. Thanks for your excellent review!

I like so many! But my favourite definitely has to be Raise a Glass. Deep purples are my go to for everyday writing. Dark enough to still feel “office appropriate”, but the purple makes it a little more fun ❤
My 12-year-old daughter and i both went, "Ooo. Wow!" at the sight of the Bah Humbug, but for more business use, I like the olive drab Moonbeam - dark and serious with just a dash of individuality.
They're all beautiful inks! But I have to choose Velvet Emerald as my favorite! Astral and Raise a Glass are my runners-up! Thank you for showing us the inks!
Jacaranda is a shrub and tall trees (up to 95 ft. tall) with blue to purple flowers. It grows in sub-tropical to tropical areas. Love the Nightfall and Bah Humbug colors. Rainbow's End I think refers to the end of the color spectrum. Astral is really nice. It really does highlight the "chameleon" effect. Sugar snap perhaps reminds me of sugar snap peas. I really like Raise the Glass. I am partial to dark, saturated inks.
I loved Jacaranda, which is a tree. When it blooms, the flowers are very much like the color as shown in the video. They bloom around this time of year in my home city.❤

I am with you on your favorite with Fireside Snug. it is Very reminiscent of Noodler's Apache Sunset but a bit darker I think. I assume it would shade well with broader nibs.

This was so much fun to watch! I love love Cashmere Rose! Close seconds are Sugar Snap and Astral. Would love to try these! Yes, all very different. I like bright and deep colors. There were more shimmer and chameleon inks I liked in last year's inkvent calendar. But I can see a lot of colors I'd give a try here. Thanks for this spoiler! 😜😁 🤩
Nice variety of colors - my favorite is definitely bah humbug, but velvet emerald and blizzard are right up there too.
Thank you for this film. I love inkvent spoilers! My personal favourite is Bah Humbug. It's a beautiful, non-standard color. It may not have the Christmas spirit, but it is magnetic in its own right.
I really like Early Dusk. It looks like shadows in the snow when you return from a long winter walk under the last light of the setting sun.
"Bah Humbug" is what Scrooge said in A Christmas Carol. Definitely a Christmas phrase! :-)

My favourite is Weeping Willow because the colour is so interesting and I love the Weeping Willow trees. I imagine the chromoshading will be fantastic for art.

My favorite inks in this review were Early Dusk, Cinnabun, and Fireside Snug. The others look good in the swatches, but I think there was too much shimmer in this year's InkVent Calendar. I prefer using ink to write with and not having to worry about the feed getting clogged. Thanks for your excellent review!

I like so many! But my favourite definitely has to be Raise a Glass. Deep purples are my go to for everyday writing. Dark enough to still feel “office appropriate”, but the purple makes it a little more fun ❤
Purple lover here. I hope Diamine adds Rainbow's End and Raise a Glass to their regular lineup. I will surely purchase both.
My 12-year-old daughter and i both went, "Ooo. Wow!" at the sight of the Bah Humbug, but for more business use, I like the olive drab Moonbeam - dark and serious with just a dash of individuality.

Jacaranda is a shrub and tall trees (up to 95 ft. tall) with blue to purple flowers. It grows in sub-tropical to tropical areas.

Astral is really nice. It really does highlight the "chameleon" effect.
Sugar snap perhaps reminds me of sugar snap peas.
I really like Raise the Glass. I am partial to dark, saturated inks.
I loved Jacaranda, which is a tree. When it blooms, the flowers are very much like the color as shown in the video. They bloom around this time of year in my home city.❤
