I can’t believe that they would bury her killer next to her! I find that so disrespectful to the victim and her family. As always, thank you Lamont for sharing the stories, giving the dead a voice and always keeping it respectful.
It is an injustice to us for sure. But neither of them are in those holes. Our used up husks are not us; praise God. Their souls are alive and well.
@@MattLaClear at least hers is
I wonder why they allow it
100per percent
She’s death why the hell would it matter
I'll never understand why the family of the murdered person will allow their loved one to be buried by their murderer.
Yes, that's very sad. I know that in death it really doesn't matter. But it matters to the family, the descents that come and visit. They probably wouldn't want the victim buried next to the person that took their life. I don't understand it either.
Her husband buried her there before his guilt was found out.
I wonder why her family didn't move her grave after his death?
It is possible that the family didn’t know that Louise was going to be buried next to the killer
I'm with you on that .
Swift justice back then in the good ole' days. He was executed 4 months after she was killed. We need that same swift justice these days.
I'd like to think of it this way:
For 100 years, the killer was buried next to his victim.
Sounds like HE did/does not rest in peace, since she received her justice.
Edit: his goal was to escape her, now he's trapped with her for eternity. Poetic justice
I choose to look at the same way you do!! She's resting in peace and he is haunted by her presence, she's happy in her justice and he's miserable because he got caught!! Thank you for your interpretation, I was angry about this scoundrel until I read your comment! Good day to you!!
Very good point. 👍
This is a great way to look at this situation!
Sad for her 😥
Man it always wakes me up when I see people's graves on ur channel that are old. 1911 is such a long time ago I think we all forget that our time here so short and there's going to be many time lines after ours
Yes! The bible do say we have 120 years to live. To me that's not a long time on this earth, but to live a eternity after we gone makes me think of the my great-grandparents and how old earth is. Blows my mind sometimes when i think about it. Lol
@@kilotre9842 yeaaaa lol life been around for sooo long I think we all forget that. If u think about what year are we really in we might be in the year one billion lol realistically
Not these days , time is getting shorter and shorter each year pass !!!
No it wasn't that long ago! My Grandfather was born in 1900!
Actually 1911 isn't that long ago! My Grandfather was born in the early 1900's! 1911 was only 1 year before the sinking of the Titanic!!!! Just saying!
This guy was evil through & through. Poor Louise, how can she be at peace next to him. Well told story👏Thank you.
Do you think death is the end? Do you really believe the dead are at peace? If so, do you believe the dead are conciense and know who is buried with them?
@@deliveryguy7402 Well their soul spirit does.
I thing they are one on top of the other.
The death penalty was no joke back then. Rip Louise
Amazing how you find these historical news clippings, Lamont. It definitely brings the reality to the story, puts a human face on the crime. Obviously, Domestic Violence was a "thing", even way back then. I wonder where the mistress, Wayla Binford, ended up. . .
Not only was it a thing but worse, society thought it was the husband "right" to knock his wife around. At least now it's against the law....
@@bellanniepickles Against the LAW? LOL!
@@stellarocquie7957 - Well, in Oregon if the police are called for domestic violence and the police show up and some one is bleeding or bruise somebody is going to jail. A spouse can't say 'I won't press charges." It's automatic. Somebody's going to jail.
@@bellanniepickles This is not a commentary on your comment, but a LOT of people say a LOT of things, and a LOT of things are, lol, "AGAINST THE LAW", but that all means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in reality, unfortunately. That's why DV and Rape Victims STILL WON'T come forward, because RARELY does LE respond in any responsible, productive, professional, RESPECTFUL, or proper way.
@@bellanniepickles same here in Alabama!
It seems so cruel to me that a person is buried next to the one who harmed them - here in Norfolk VA there are at least two grave plots that I know of where the man killed his spouse then himself and they are buried together.
Disgusting! Didn’t Louise have any family that would speak for her!? Maybe money talked! I’m so sorry Louise that he was put there!
Happy Easter to everyone! Lamont hope your Easter 🐣Sunday is going well 😊 this story gives me shivers! To think your with someone you love and trust and them they kill you!!!!
🙆🏻♀️ When you said he was buried “next to her”, I didn’t think you meant ‘shared-a-headstone-with-her next to her’!! Ain’t THAT some bullishit!!
Thanks Lamont 👍👊🇬🇧🇺🇸
So a baby out if wedlock and an affair. Yep, that's an upstanding dude!
That wedding should have never been, it was a "shotgun" wedding.
"upstanding" back then was all about the $$$, not good deeds.
No, there's a post further up explaining the dates were wrong. Baby was 6 weeks old when mum was murdered, and they'd been married 11 months. Was pregnant just after the wedding.
Thanks for all you do Lamont✌️💖🙏. Happy Easter
Happy Easter Lamont. You do good videos. I live in winchester va. There is an unsolved case here going back to 1975.
I have to say again: Why do people feel they have to take the life of another individual. They go on living and the victim lies buried in a grave. I am sincerely happy he was executed for the murder. Thanks for the story Lamont. Another awesome video. Stay safe.❤️
Happy Easter Lamont, thank you for your videos:)
Divorce was a no! no! back then . Because they were married ,it was probably the reason why he lays next to her in death.
Thank you for explaining it to others. That's exactly why they are buried next to each other.
Happy Easter Lamont and everyone. Hope everyone is having a nice relaxing Easter Sunday.🐰🥕🤗
Happy Easter same to you stay safe
She probably found out about his mistress so she told him that she was going to tell his father and everyone else that's why they argued and he might have thought that if he just killed her and made up a story that he would get away with it. But his story didn't fool the police.
Dam, they gave that dude the express execution! Only 4 months after the murder, wow!!
Was no appeals for him
Happy Easter Lamont
Happy Easter "Lamont" 🐇🐥
As always "Thank You" for all u do for yr followers!
That's why we Love & appreciate you❤😇
Crazy story Lamont! Thanks, Happy Easter 🐣🐰
Maria Keller shot her husband, her baby and herself. They are buried in the same casket.
Thanks for another interesting story I hope this lady is resting in peace take care lamont much love from England 🇬🇧❤ 🇬🇧 ❤
⭐️ Good video work Lamont. This is such a sad story and wrongful burial of this innocent lady. I don't understand the reason's why she had to be buried next to her evil husband.
My paternal grandfather killed his wife, my grandma in a gruesome way. My Dad and his siblings decided to separate their parents graves. My grandma was placed on a pretty expensive memorial site while my grandfather's final resting place was in a remote public cemetery.
What a sad story thanks for bringing the sad story to life again!
I want you to know how much I appreciate your videos! You give so much information that I never knew, but some the stories I have heard of. Thank you for your research and and reporting your knowledge. God Bless and be safe!❤️
My question is, why did he marry her? If HIS family had the money. He behaved like a man that was forced into it.
Pregnant
@@msjujuz266 - He could've just denied it. As many men did. They didn't have DNA back then, or Maury Povich to put up big, blown up side by side pics 😏.
Thank you for this story!
Maury Cemetery is on the southern bank of the James River in what was originally the city of Manchester. However, in 1910 - a year before the murder - Manchester was annexed by the city of Richmond under the pretense of uniting it with a bridge.
The cemetery is named after Matthew Fontaine Maury - a naval officer, scientist, and Confederate diplomat during the American Civil War - in 1874, a year after Maury passed away while acting as a professor at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia.
Exactly ! Just walk away ! Get a divorce ! Thank you for sharing these stories ! Of the lost and forgotten ! Appreciate you 🙏🏾💜
WOW! WHAT A STORY LAMONT.....HAVE A GREAT WEEK!
May she rest in peace
Good story. You're a very well spoken and a wonderful story teller with a great bass voice. Very commanding. There are voices that don't command attention but your voice is great. A gift.
One good thing was that no matter how rich he was, he still got death penalty for killing his wife. Nowadays, many get away with it for hiring great lawyers
The heat pisses me off too. 🤬👿
Amazing story my friend. Where did you get the background for that one. I really enjoy your videos. You do some incredible research I’m guess to find those old stories. Keep up the good work very entertaining stuff. 👍👍❤️
Lamont, have u considered doing crime shows? U certainly have the voice for it. What a sad story.
Thanks so much that was a awesome story. I love your work and all the history and facts.
Such a sad story and buried next to the man she married and didn't know that he would be her killer and buried by her side..... nuts....but rip sweet lady......thanks Lamont for sharing her story......happy Easter Lamont....🐇🐣🥕🥚.
That is so wrong on many levels
Hello 👋 dear, how are you doing?
Hi Lamont be blessed
You are so sweet to give us the scoop ☺️ on these stories.
Happy Easter Lamont! I'd be PISSED-OFF if I was stuck being buried next to the guy who murdered me! I'd be BITCHIN' at him every damn day of eternity!
Love you channel Lamont. Always so interesting. Thank you for all you do. God Bless you
That’s sick to put a victim next to the person who murdered them, I hope she haunts him everyday. Xxx
Once her killer was confirmed and sentenced to death, her own family should have protested and he should have been buried elsewhere.
How disrespectful to bury a murderer next to their victim, his wife!!!!
Hope she's given him an earful, for last 100 yrs
It's horrendous that he's buried next to the woman he murdered.
I'm pretty sure she isn't resting in eternal peace 😔😥
It's crime of wicked disrespect to bury a victim next to their murderer. Even back when human life had meaning
This is one of the best channels on youtube
Thats crazy thank you Lamont at large for the video god bless keep safe
In my county, we have a similar story. Minnie was 17 and a 37 year old man wanted her and was jealous. He shot her shoved her body into The Morris Canal and was on the run for days. Minnie was buried in Orchard Street cemetery. The killer was caught, tried, found guilty and executed. Minnie was buried without a headstone but wealthy ladies of the town bought the killer a headstone. He’s buried near her.
Thanks for sharing this always enjoy this channel!
Great story telling as usual
Very disgusting. They buried him right next to her. And after what he did to her
Thank you for such great videos
Happy Easter Lamont as I mentioned I am from Richmond,Virginia and am still living there. Welcome back to my hometown. Stay safe. P.s. I have a little cousin buried in Maury Cemetery as well. I wonder how far or how close he is buried to them. R.i.p. to Louise and my cousin and many others there except for monsters.
Hey, Lamont, happy Easter. It's a beautiful sunny day here in North Philadelphia. You alwsys have good content. It gives us a lot to think about and talk about. History at it's best. Got to watch out for those “Highwaymen” my Uncle 😮
Why on earth would her family allow her murderer to be buried next to her.
Thanks for this video, Lamont. I live in Richmond, Va but had never heard of this story before. I sure don't like that he was buried next to her after his execution but I'm wondering if that plot had already been there for them before all this happened. Such a sad, sordid story, husband kills wife, they had a little baby together but he also had a mistress. Blame it on a ' highwayman' and figures he'll get away with it with his reputation intact. Well, he didn't succeed ! May she rest in peace.
What happened to their child
Wellford was raised by Louise's parents with her name, Owen, in Pennsylvania. He died in Albany, NY in 1996 aged 85. His half-brother, yes Henry Beattie's mistress Buelah had a son in 1909, named Henry Clay (after his father) Binford Trout, who was adopted shortly afterwards by the Trout family, and died the following year aged 11 months of infant cholera.
Happy Easter 🐣 Lamont safe travels
I find it nauseating . Good job , Lamont .
Lamont, next time you’re in Richmond, VA _please_ visit the graves of, and cover the absolutely horrific and heartbreaking story of the outrageous and senseless, and, also, really, tragically rotten-luck nightmare slayings of indie-musician Brian Harvey, his wife and their two young daughters. It took place on 1-1-2006, over 25 years ago.
You would truly honor their memories, like you always do…☹️💔
2006 would not be 25 years...I'm confused.
How absolutely terrible for her & her family . How could they do that my God . R I P dear lady 🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏
What a seemingly convoluted story.
happy easter lamont. hope you had a nice meal today
So weird! Anyway, it’s still called Midlothian Pike at least in Chesterfield. There is the town of Midlothian, a middle school and HS by the same name that I attended. Just a tidbit for you. Thanks for visiting RVA Lamont! Still waiting for the Harvey family murder vlog from you! 😉
Hi happy Easter everybody
A few more details for you all: Wellford (their son) was raised by Louise's parents with their name, Owen, in Pennsylvania. He died in Albany, NY in 1996 aged 85.
His half-brother, yes Henry Beattie's mistress Beulah had a son in 1909, named Henry Clay (after his father) Binford Trout, who was adopted shortly afterwards by the Trout family, Peter and Mollie and their three teenaged children, and died the following year 1910, (around the time that Henry Clay Beattie and Louise married) aged 11 months of infant cholera. He was buried in Shockoe Cemetery, Richmond, in an unmarked grave in the William McMullen plot.
Hnery Jr's Find a Grave entry however lists a different lady Betty (nee Harrison) Knapp, as his mother, along with Henry Clay Beattie as his father. Betty also has a grave on Find a Grave, where Henry Clay Binford Trout is listed as her son, but Betty is described in the attached obituary as the wife of Andrew Knapp, and mother of C. Stephen Gibney and John Randolph Hoffmann. There are no Find a Grave records for any of these men. All very bizarre.
If Betty is in fact Beulah Binford, born 1895, this would mean she was 14 when she gave birth to Henry Clay Beattie's son, Henry Clay Binford Trout.
That's a thing of beauty.
We have a grave site like this in Round Rock, TX. In the 1800's Sam Bass was a notorious train, stagecoach, and bank robber. He and his gang were planning on robbing the bank in this town, but the Texas Rangers got word and came to thwart the robbery. A gun fight erupted in the streets of downtown Round Rock which led to Sam Bass' death, but he was able to shoot and kill one of those Rangers before succumbing. To this day that Ranger is buried next to his killer, Sam Bass. On the other side of Sam Bass is buried one of his gang members.
I enjoy your stories
There is a similar burial site in Meridian Mississippi. A man murdered his girlfriend and the two sons they shared together. Then he killed himself. All four of them are buried together, the victims and their killer.
Thank you Lamont. Very interesting. Very sad also. I feel sad for her being buried next to him. I wonder why they did that?
Happy Easter
Always hate when that happens. Also when the muderers' name is on the married woman's headstone.
Why in the world would they bury him there??
😲 OMG....if that was my daughter I would dig her up myself and put her somewhere 100 miles away. As always love hour stories and the graveyards you find. Be safe
Happy easter Lamont
Some story. 😔
What a story, what a story!!
Great job👍 on this video.
If ever I'm killed by a person, I do not want to be put to rest next to my killer. I will haunt the hell out of someone.
so sad louise
One good thing the law back then didn't allow any loitering on death row. If you killed someone early in a year you would die before the year was up.
Beyond disturbing...first of heard of this...why bury them together...no no no
What was her family thinking. I would never allowed it
Wow! Evil since the firsts man Adam and Eve and the serpent still active So long ago, and still fields Sad for her! Your description of each case is Very Good!
Excellent video buddy
Liked the vlog lamont from Margaret P uk
Hello Lamont I have done a thumbs up.
Double Tragic for her family and friends for sure🧐
