You have bought a GT family car designed for comfort, and are comparing it to a BMW M car which has been designed to be as sporty as possible! It is like comparing a Bently with a Corvette and saying the Corvette is better! Just test drive a Ferrari 458, 488, or 812 and you would see that they are a league above any sports car from Porsche, let alone any BMW M car! I’ve been lucky enough to drive some of the top of the line Porsches, BMWs, Lambos, and Maseratis. IMHO nothing, not even Porsche 911 Turbo, comes close to the excitement and emotions you get from a proper Ferrari! At least this is my humble opinion. YMMV
You’re wrong about the comparison to the M5, the two cars are EXACTLY the same concept, namely 4 seaters luxury sports limousines. And BMW just did it much better. But you are right that I should try the 812 to see if it saved my opinion on Ferrari. All in all Ferrari HAS to be impressive no matter which car it is, and the Lusso simply isn’t!
@@thespiritualgangster9216 🤣 You’re wrong about the comparison to the M5, the two cars are EXACTLY the oppostite concept: The m5 is the sporty extreme of a comfortable sedan, the gtc4lusso is instead the most comfortable gt of an extremely sporty range... So, your video is only a sad rant of nonsense.
At spiritual gangster You say you talk alot, in fact you talk a lot of rubbish. You’ve only driven one Ferrari and have generalised though you’ve driven everything that Ferrari has produced. Try driving some interesting ones F40, F355, 550, 599, 458, 812 and then see how you feel Mr Narrow mind!
You Forget... that the V12 Lusso beats out all the cars racing... tho neck and neck with the 911- 992 Turbo S..still the Lusso wins. And the beautiful configuration of 4 seats with ability to flatten the back seats to make more storage room with the back entry. None of the other cars have such a delectible sound from the naturally aspirated engine. It is 4 wheel drive...works well in snow, sleet, rain, hail, ice. Practical issues that supercede all the other cars. I would prefer you appreciated what you have. Not nitpick it. I *reject your complaints. The Lusso is one of the best cars on Earth. You're lucky you got one. I will have to buy a used one now as they are discontinued. But I shall in a few more months. I just hope who owned it first didn't run the hell out of the engine. Bruising it in any way. I keep my cars IN TUNE by way of how I drive them. *Your Lusso is Just Gorgeous!!* *Be sweet to her.*
I agree with you. Did you buy one? For me it’s the perfect car, in all weather conditions, I’ve driven 28,000 km in 2 years in mine. But, recently I discovered some rust/corrosion under the wheel arches. Be aware! Oh, gear changes are perfect, engine noise is correct for the car. It’s NOT a track car, it’s a comfortable GT that could go around a track. Apple CarPlay is a must.
As an F355 owner I’m always interested in the experience of owners of newer Ferraris. I’m sorry you find the GTC disappointing. I’ve also owned several BMW M cars (2003 e39 M5, 2010 e92 and a 2017 M2) and although I loved all of them and they were fabulous driving machines they never felt special in the way that my F355 does (I guess the BMW’s spoke to my head and the Ferrari to my heart). Regarding your exhaust, I’m interested in how you live with it on a long journey (given the GTC is a Grand Tourer) as I find loud exhausts not only anti social for my neighbours but very tiring on a journey of more than an hour or so. If you are a fan of Normally Aspirated engines, have you tried a Ferrari 458? It’s not a front engined V12 of course but I think it will give you more of a flavour of what Ferrari can offer you. Anyway, thanks for the video thought it was very informative.
Thank you for your straight talk. I was considering this car but I had always my doubts about quality and daily usage. The M5 is also on my radar and I will follow this path now. But still enjoy the car and sell it as long as the value is high enough. 👍🏻👍🏻😊
Its a nice car...but mine is even better also in straight black Nero! This one is missing a lot (if not most) carbon options such as the rear view mirrors, door handles, roof spoiler and basically everything on the interior part from the steering wheel - and possibly even the front splitter...details are everything!
@@thespiritualgangster9216Do you still own the Lusso? I have one, love it and use it as a daily in all weather. But recently I have an issue with rust/corrosion in the wheel arches, and bonnet. Have you had similar issues?
Agree with you about the sound to a degree, although I think they purposely subdued the sound as it’s a daily car for the family. For me personally it’s ok in OEM state, especially if you drive it hard. The gear changes in mine are almost perfect, almost as good as the 812. Maybe you should get your gearbox checked out.
I love the fact that you reviewed your personal car and showed more of the car than features/quirks etc. The sound is absolutely menacing, keep up the great work brotha.
How many miles is on it now? You going to sell it to someone who will love it and take good care of it? You obviously don't like it. I think its perhaps too elegant for your tastes.
should have gone with an FF. hydraulic steering makes all the difference. The DCT isn't as bad as you make it out to be. But again you're in a 2+2 that's a pretty soft cushy, especially compared to the FF. It's not meant to be a hardcore F car. Ps - I daily an FF for the last four years and have Scuds, Speciale, etc.
If you say this you are not a car connoisseur. If you buy a BMW in preference to a Ferrari, you should know that after a few years your BMW will be worth half of what you bought it, while a Ferrari acquires value over time. Shame the wheels are black because you simply cant see the design properly.
A nice metallic grey would be a much better bet
What exhaust changes did you make?

theyre nice when you rebuild them for fractions of the original cost for personal use

Nice jeans buddy. You nuts want there life back
Hello, great video although I've just watched it a year on. In regards to your catless exhaust, did you say FE exhaust or Fi exhaust?. Thank you.
In Germany the car would be illegal because it has no CAT and has been modified in a way that it would not pass sound emissions test.
Thank God; avoids the oligarch factor!
I think you need to be more famous

No worries bro, I have you covered. I can take it off your hands and give you a BMW in exchange.

Totally agree with you mate. Good taste 👌 P.s The sound is a bit too much though 😅 especially for Europe
Love those Wheels Bro🦾
Interesting candid review. I’m thinking about both this Ferrari and the M5. It’d be interesting to see you compare both in the same video. Thanks!

You should,ve got the 812

Love it man
Appreciate the honesty 👍
I think you meant stupidity instead of honestly; the next time I’m going to compare a DHL sprinter with a taxi.

Ok I gotto get one
