Your reviews are awesome - very thorough and thoughtful and full of energy. Would help anyone make a decision about a bag. Like the look of this bag but don't love the inside pockets. Too floppy and would just get in the way trying to load and unload, as you pointed out. Keep up the excellent work 👍
Quick access pocket: Do not zip the pocket, therefore the access is now quicker. It also give us (people like me) a good feeling that my stuff will not fall out due to being able to zip the pocket.
This was a helpful review- and I appreciate the decisive perspective- positives and negatives. I ordered the x-pac variant- with the mk-2 lt camera pack
@@Nomads.Nation Just got back from a quick hike with it. The straps are still stiff, but I really the internal organization, so I can leave some of the pouches at home. They even sent me a free AUX compartment (the attachable bag), but I haven’t tested it yet. Take care and stay safe!
I bought an errant, did not come with a key (had to purchase separately). Also I love on the hemp bags you referred to expansion zipper instead of a compression one. Love your reviews, you helped me decide on an aer day sling :)
Hello! Thanks for this in-depth review :-) I am currently looking for a school backpack and I was wondering which you'd choose between the Bellroy Classic 20L and the Boundary Supply Rennen Daypack? Also, thoughts on the Fjallraven Laptop 15/Foldsack/Raven 20?
Hi Aaron. This pack, in blue, is on sale for $83. I have an errant for years and it is my travel pack. I was wondering If this pack would lie flat enough to be used as a packable bag. (or do you have a better alternative)? Thanks my friend.
its a great price for this bag, it will make an OK day bag as it will lie flat, but I can't say if it will fit in the Errant for sure - best to double check with Boundary on that one. I personally prefer a truly compressible bag such as the Boundary Rennen Compressible Series or the Aer Go Pack 2
Thanks John, and it’s absolutely a school pack, but it just depends on how many books you are carrying. Are you saying that you need a bag that can carry 30 books?
I purchased the BS Errant back in 2019 and this company had issues with delays shipping out the initial pre-orders because of manufacturing/supply chains. I'm hesitant to order with them again. Anyone know if they are much better this time around?

Loved the review, already ordered the x-pac version of the Rennen and pouch, thanks for a great review....!!!
So glad you enjoyed it! Let us know what you think about the x-pac!
I really like your review ! I bought the Nomatic backpack because of your review. Keep up the good work !
Same here! His review made me get 2 backpacks and a sling!
Thanks so much Raymond! How has the Nomatic Backpack been treating you? I'm still loving mine :)
Holy crap @Jepoy! So glad to hear we have been able to provide you value! What did you get?
@@Nomads.Nation PRVK, Errant, and Peak Sling
@@Nomads.Nation I also told Boundary supply about it and sent them the link to your video. I said this is what made me buy your bag lol!

Would love the team to revisit this one
Revisit how?
Thanks for the video! I already bought the Errant after watching your review so I'm set :)
Thanks for that Tom! Also, how has the Errant been treating ya?

Ah seems they have changed the key ring thing since I got my Errant. The zips can be used for compression and expansion I suppose

Haven’t tested fjallraven. Would probably pick Bellroy for better quick access. Both are amazing though

You should check out some of the STM band from Australia...great designs and prices!
Will do - thanks for the suggestion !
Thinking about buying one. Is the laptop compartment suspended or do I need to use a sleeve?
im traveling right now so I can't say for sure - be sure to reach out to Boundary and let us know what they say 🙏
Great review! From your POV is this a daily carry as a school pack? No locker so hauling 30# of books. Or other suggestions would be awesome.

@@Nomads.Nation thank you!
Hey Nomads,I’ve got a question.Does the bags comes along with extra cubes or does it necessary to grab them?
I believe those would be extra $$
How would this bag do as a packable day bag? Could it be packed flat when totally empty? Thanks, I appreciate y'all as always
Hey Kent, sorry I missed this comment! It's malleable enough to be semi-packable, but by no means can it go as flat as a compressible daypack
Didn’t get a key ring with my Errant pack. I bought in dec 2020.
OK! thanks for letting me know 👌🏻
is it good in withstanding rain?
good yes, but not excellent. XPAC or Ultra fabrics would offer superior weather-resistance
Is the aux compartment able to be attached to the front of the Rennen bag or only the errant series?
Aggg not sure tbh. I’d recommend reaching out to boundary - they’ll get you sorted 💪🏾
Thanks for the review. I'd be interested in a review of the sling bag
Sure thing! I'm editing it right now, it should be out within a week.

more weather resistant, less abrasion resistant
Yes on the sling review!

Both are great - slight edge to the Bellroy for better access
