I was a backer and historically had very little faith in YAW however they reached out the other day with an offer to give me 110% of the value of my backing payment and if I pay the difference they would sell me a Yaw3. I consider this a reasonable offer and accepted. It has just been shipped. Looking forward to receiving it. I'm in Sydney, Australia. Also, thanks for your videos they are appreciated.
I appreciate Zolt's continued transparency with the Yaw devices. It goes a long way to improving the reputation of their company! I watched the entire video but still wasn't too clear on when kickstarter backers would be receiving theirs without paying more? I'm kickstarter backer #238, so pretty low on the list. When would you expect I would roughly be receiving mine in the USA? Will you be sending in order of the backer number along with the others that pay extra?
They are making a good faith effort to satisfy those that pledged to the Yaw2 Kickstarter campaign with the superior Yaw3. The long wait plus the remaining unknowns is legitimately frustrating but Yaw first has to stay in business by attracting new customers. I just got my Yaw3 and am impressed with the new design.

Also, is there a new weight limit to the new devices? I'm 180 lbs but will be adding quite a few heavy accessories and want to be sure I don't exceed the weight limit. In addition, will the base be more stable? I've seen some videos where it seems to jump around due to the small base when in motion?

Great interview as always! You are a hero, Sir.
The issue between those who paid for the 2DOF vs 3DOF is further compounded when you consider some paid for 3DOF PRO version (such as myself), which was around double the cost of the 2DOF version. Some paid even more for the arcade version.
They may not find a solution to make it completely fair... but I hope those who paid double get SOMETHING to show for it, something they would find satisfactory...

I am backer 305. Why should I have to pay more to get what was promised? To date, I have only received the seat. Where is the rest of the YawVR? I've beeen a backer since 2020. This is ridiculous?
You don't have to, it's optional and helps you get it faster, but Yaw intend to deliver to all backers still.

I cancelled my order as you can't ship without protecting the metal. Any shipped package has to be able to drop 4" on all corners/sides. Millions of other companies do it.
The only thing that interests me is when the kickstarter devices are being delivered. The rest is just blablabla at this point.
How many years is it now that you guys took all those millions from backers?

It was my understanding you’d be paying 10 percent more as a backer, not full price minus 10% Price going from a few hundred dollars more to a couple thousand is obviously going to piss people off.
There is no obligation to pay more than the KS pledge, it's an option if you want to help the company and get your unit faster..

Hey dude I only use SRS for everything- with their licensed motion comp with wit motion sensor (using open vr motion comp)…. The yaw game engine makes the unit whispaw back and forth while the game is paused and has few other minor glitches. Infuse VR motion comp doesnt work for me and game ne some vr centering problems
Wit motion sensor is 40$ on amazon- works great - just a little slow during extreme yaw movement but sometimes I switch to the yaw virtual tracker which seems faster but Your mileage may vary across different games
693 subs and begging for sponsorships , hes only got the 693 due to telling community he was going to view our concerns but out for himself only

@@ItsVRK no sh*t sherlock thats what the 693 comment was about! why would any company waste money when you have no reach,,, what happened to all the game developers you knew and were waiting to test your yaw you had on order and were eager to start developing, yet more bull to jump the queue .this has been your narrative all the way through, use a platform with no reach to either jump in front of others and get freebies on the pretence your in the know and can benefit the yaw team but your sub count proves otherwise. you didnt even address the communities questions when zsolt was ready and willing asking you for them using the excuse you'd addressed them all on facebook. let alone asking yaw for transparency its you that should be, also the few questions you asked id of told you mind your own business ,we bought into a start up and unlike many who just fold on kickstarter yaw are trying to resolve issues in a hard time imo ,im in the mid 100's and waiting what was your backer number and what have you received from yaw up to yet ?
