When I tell you how frustrated I became trying to figure out why this filter would not fit into the unit uuggg.. The instruction booklet said nothing about removing the little gray handle neither did it mention removing the inside base from the unit. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for this video.
What a terrible Company i bought the machine they give you instructions how to make coffee yet dont even bother adding how to add filter i was using it without the filter part because theres no instructions saying to add a filter besides on a piece of plastic. No pictures nothing.
Costco should pay you for this, I just wanted to put water filter and because I knew it all so I thought after watching your video I knew so little about this new machine I was about to treat it like the old ones. Thank you very much for this very informative video. Shame on Costco for not applying straightforward, easy simple instructions as your video was. Thanks a bunch. Have a great weekend.
Lol, thanks very kind of you to say, I appreciate the comment. Just a note, your frustration should be directed at Keurig, not Costco. Keurig is trying to go paperless so they're bothering to add instructions in their boxes anymore. They want you to go to their website - another way to get traffic to their website lol😉
I just got this machine at Costco great deal. Thank you for your video I rather look at someone doing it the correct way than reading the manual. Your instructions were perfect.
I think you are right. I followed the instructions that came with it. But now I see. The red plug should be removed only for this model to allow for full 5 point multi-stream outpour. Thank you for pointing it out.
You saved me from having to buy my friend another Keurig and allowed me to have a good cup of coffee. I don’t know who those replacement filter instructions were written for but thank God you knew how to interpret it and demonstrated it for the less inclined. Many thanks 🙏🏽
Thank you very much for this video! My parents bought one and very confused by the lack of instruction. Living thousands a miles away made it frustrating. This video is straight forward and extremely helpful.
For this coffee maker model I believe that the user should remove the orange plug piece as the plug will prevent the spray effect and will only pour from the center spout.
I think you are right. I followed the instructions that came with it. But now I see. The red plug should be removed only for this model to allow for full 5 point multi-stream outpour. Thank you very much for clearing it up.
Thank you for simlifying the non-existent instructions which should have been included. Your display and explanations were perfect and may have convinced me to keep this unit. Couldn't figure out how to install my k- cup but you simplified it all. Great, perfect job! Thank you. Wish every UTube video was as pleasant as yours and solved all my questions.
Thank you sooooooooo much!!! I am a visual learner, and you caused me to make an A+. Before you, I made two attempts using how-to videos and ended cussing and vowing to bring the ******** coffeemaker back to the store. The first two people should be arrested for confusion, and Keurig should hire you. Got to go...my delicious perfectly brewed coffee is getting cold. Again, I bow down to you.
Awesome. Needed this clear and concise instruction video. Even though I have a 2.0 I just got the new supreme series and was confused all over again lol! Thanks again for the help!!
I'm on my third machine in seven years. Remembering when I saw the first Keurig machine a long, long time ago I thought it was novel and a little like witchcraft. 😉 However, being on my third machine I'm finding that no two Keurig coffee makers are exactly alike. It's like I had to take a refresher course in setting it up and using it. Then there was the tension over whether or not an off-brand pod would work (it did). Also I had to reassess the fluid ounce size to the cup(s) or mug(s) I typically use. The last machine had only the Small, Medium and Large icons to select when the lid was closed. For the past two years I was using the medium icon which I believed was dispensing ten ounces. On this new machine ten ounces nearly overflowed my double-walled insulated Lenox Butterfly Meadow travel mug so I had to select eight ounces for the second cup. Live and learn.
Exactly what I was looking for thank you! I’ve had many Keurig brewers but it’s been a while since I’ve set one up. With my vision getting worse, it’s hard to read the instructions so this really helps. Thank you again!
Thank you so much for making this video! I stumbled upon your video while trying to descale my keurig. I know I did it right, but my first one broke after descale was complete. I took it back to Costco and got a new one. I am extra careful with this one. You explained everything perfectly!! 🏆
Thank you for this excellent tutorial. Just received this series and unfortunately, the instructions are not as exact as they should be. My husband is a jump off the dock, not knowing if the boat is there kinda guy. He needed to see this!
Great video thank you. I’m pretty sure you remove the red insert when using with 5 point needle coffee makers. This way the coffee get saturated with water evenly. The red insert is to be used with single needle coffee makers. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks again
Yes, you're right. When I made this video last year I followed the instructions that came with the KCUP, but after using it for a while, it made sense to remove the insert for this model.
Thank God for this great video. Got a new machine from Costco and NOWHERE in the instructions was there ANY MENTION of the water filter. I followed the instructions, brewed the first cup and I am wondering "what are these extra parts?" Would it have been so hard to mention it? Thanks very much for this very high quality video!
Thank you for the detailed video. I just bought a K-Supreme and NO WHERE in the instructions does it tell you to push up from the bottom to remove the K cup adapter! My other Keurig does not require this. 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
Great video! The instruction manual did not say how to install the water filter. Luckily, I found this video which explained it perfectly. Thanks for posting it!!
This is fantastic having a video with the very important steps to getting started and using the K-Suspreme Plus, but I really want to stress a point to Keurig. All of this detail should have come with the instructions in the box! There is nothing in the book that shows what the long plastic device and the bags were for and how to put them in the machine, as you showed on your video. Thank you! But! All if your instructions here should have been in the book too. The ultimate temperature for making coffee is 195°F. It is very cool this Keurig has 3 temperature settings. My question is, “What are those 3 temperature settings? Why are they not in the book of instructions?” Maybe this is not the right place to state some of my frustration but keurig needs to make better instructions that come with the machine. Thank you.
No worries, vent away @Keurig! I guess they are trying to go 'paperless' assuming that everyone will watch their RUclips Channel for instructions. Regarding the temperature settings, I was also very curious to know what the three levels were and did some of my own testing, nor sure if you were able to watch my video, but here is the link if you wanted to watch. ruclips.net/video/g1-aIyfL-nM/видео.html Not sure how much it will help. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment.
@@MeemReviews once I got my machine running, the first thing I did was tested the temperature of the water as it was dripping or perking, because your cup will drop the temperature down. I’m the high temperature I got 180°F. Of course I want my coffee hot in my cup but the most important part I was concerned about was the temperature of the water while perking because you can’t extract the full flavour unless it is at least 195° temperature. I just have to drink my coffee quicker before it gets too cold. Lol! Either way I love the machine.
Tedolph, why spend twenty bloody bucks when you can spend just a few bucks on making coffee the old fashion way? Heat your water to the ultimate temperature in a pot on the stove and usd a single cup filter that you pour your water through, as it drips into your cup or full coffee pot.
@@anthonydeleeuw Because you have to buy filters over and over again. The Moka pot is a one time life time investment-far cheaper than buying filters for the next 30 years. The Moka pot makes better tasting, stonger coffee too.
I received one of these as a Christmas gift from my son's girlfriend. I love it, it's such a great Keurig. I wasn't sure how to use it until I viewed your video. Thank you so much.

I want to get four reusable K-Cups for my K-Supreme Plus machine - two for decaf and two for regular. If I buy Keurig reusable K-Cups they are approx $11/ea, but aftermarket ones are cheaper. Can you recommend aftermarket reusable K-Cups that work well in the K-Supreme Plus machine?
So I bought this after watching your helpful videos Plus, Costco has it for $40 off for September. The ADD WATER message will stay on even with at least 8oz in the reservoir, being unable to make a small cup. Have you had this issue? I'm coming from a Bunn My Cafe machine.
Mine isn't hot enough also didn't come with anything extra I had to buy everything. It stopped working went dead and had to be replaced by keurig. Not impressed with this one . K cup Elite is much better .
You should have mentioned that the recyclable coffee pods do not work in this coffee maker or any of the ones with 5 prods. The prods don't properly puncture the pod and you end of with a lot of water and not much coffee in your cup as well as a mess.
Thank you so much for this detailed video! Ours came with the piece that goes on the bottom of the water filter missing and we were wondering if that’s what how it was supposed to be. We washed all the pieces and the filter cartridge only to find out that we have to send it back 😡

You should always push the pod down with your fingers before bringing the lid down. It just helps extend the life of the machine.
