I can see this either way. People always have told me I don't look like I'm putting in an effort when I am because I have a pretty stoic resting expression even under duress, but he definitely has a dominant appearance to him.
Brian Shaw's strength is obvious. But, what I love about Brian is he's so anxious and open to learn a new sport. He takes every piece of advice to heart bc he doesn't know what he's doing. His ability to remove any ego from it and just learn is what makes him so great.
He's incredibly humble. I would have such a huge who if I just did like 5% of what he's accomplished. He's humble, very smart, and gives things his all. He's not half-assing this, which means he'll likely be at the top before too long. We're not talking about someone that just decided to start arm wrestling. We're talking about someone that pulls busses and planes that is giving it his all to destroy the biggest men he can find
Another testament to Brian is people only keep comparing him to Levan. Brian is going to be 50lbs heavier than Levan when he shows up which means he's going to be 100lbs+ over everyone else.

Turned out he's in the top 3% of numbers nerds. he had no idea. & some how after a couple of years he was pretty much at the point where he would have been if he would have known all his life. Not a chance, yet- imagine your physical attributes as your base stats, let's say someone like Matt Mask has 6 points in physical attributes, schoolboy probably a 7-8, Brian is a clear 10- Now, table experience is a multiplier for those physical attributes, on a scale of 1-10, Mask is probably a solid 8 for table experience, hence 48 points, Schoolboy is more of a 5 for experience, 35-40 points, at the current state, Brian is probably at 2, so he would be smashed by those guys, but his potential, is being way stronger than them by the time he reaches a similar level of experience.

Yeah, but thats more of a correlation for strength sports and not really arm wrestling. There are so many weaker arm wrestlers in things and lifts like that who beat stronger powerlifters and strong men. It's a complex sport that takes a certain kind of strength and technique. It's very much about technique, which is how you see much weaker arm wrestlers beat people much stronger than them.
Brian will go right through most of the top pullers even in his current noob status. Doesn’t matter what technique you have if you’re 100-150lbs lighter with 1/3 the body strength Brian’s going through you.
Guys, armwrestling is a tendon sport. Unless u don't have years of practice in specific armwrestling movements, muscle power alone won't be enough. Brian is unimaginably strong and with a bit of armwrestling practice he can easily beat top level athletes from lower categories. But, to put him up against Levan is a complete mismatch. Levan has everything Brian has strength wise, plus years of armwrestling experience. That is a major advantage.

He did not say the exakt same thing about Larry, not even close. But Larry could have become very good at the sport had he focused 100% at it. Even with low focus at it he won tournaments. Devon said that he believed that Larry could become a champion because he thought that he would focus harder on armwrestling than he actually ended up doing. But he never said that Larry would break people because of his strength (as far as i can remember) and he never compared him to Levan. I think that Brian can get to Larry's level in less time than it took Larry to reach that level, due to his 100% focus on one sport mentality and not settle for anything but to be the best. Larry does not have that.

Beating Levan is Never gonna happen. If he beats devon maybe. It takes yrs to build the arm wrestling strength and technique you need to beat guys like Vitaly, Ermes, Devon, Genadi.
Strongmen used to arm wrestle each other at WSM. Still nowhere near arm wrestler levels.

He did not say the exakt same thing about Larry, not even close. But Larry could have become very good at the sport had he focused 100% at it. Even with low focus at it he won tournaments. Devon said that he believed that Larry could become a champion because he thought that he would focus harder on armwrestling than he actually ended up doing. But he never said that Larry would break people because of his strength (as far as i can remember) and he never compared him to Levan. I think that Brian can get to Larry's level in less time than it took Larry to reach that level, due to his 100% focus on one sport mentality and not settle for anything but to be the best. Larry does not have that.
