Wow! Her voice is fantastic! But, it's sad most people don't care about real talent anymore. All they care about is if the song is catchy and easy to remember, and if the singer looks good. I'm not saying Natalie is bad looking, she's gorgeous! If I may suggest one, Blu Cantrell. She is so underrated and underappreciated vocal. She would blow half these fake singers out of the water. You can really hear her vocals in "Sleep In The Middle," and her fantastic head voice on "Waste My Time." I think that a lot of broadway singers are just as amazing. Or I should say that most broadway singers are amazing at techniques. The average mastery of vocal techniques are higher than pop singers. In order to always preform live and generate enough volume/ clearity in phrasing and constantly harmonizing, Most Theatre singers all have some very serious training.

@@graysang5386 Not everyone for sure. I think that her riffs are great and special for a broadway singer. However, even this ability is becoming more and more common. Checking out the recent "Elphabas" in "wicked", many of them riff their ass off at the end of "defying gravity". Broadway singing is also evolving, many newer stars are incorporating the listed skills, some even on a higher level. And again, we are talking about the stars. However, the average mastery of techniques are much higher. You can randomly pick out a leading actress/ actor and see them demonstrate very healthy belting and excellent head voice which are rare among young pop singers.

Her technique is flawless. Those lows are a lot better than i thought they'd be to be honest. She's so good in her higher range that to have such incredible tonal quality and support as far down as she does is astonishing. Her mix is practically perfect and her overall voice is really well connected. Her breath management and control is immaculate, her resononance is on point, her head voice is fantastic, placement is great, dynamics astonishing, agility astonishing. The only negatives that could be said are really small things that mostly equate to personal preference rather than a of lack of skill or knowledge so to be honest they aren't worth mentioning without the word "i prefer..." and/or "it's really small but...".

What an amazing technical singer she is. I think the reason why she is underappreciated is that a lot of people don't know her, but those who do generally deem her in high regard. I hope she continues her BDTR series.
Celine, though, is another story. She is underappreciated by even those who know her! Like many people here in RUclips undermine her vocal abilities, with some going as far as declaring she does not deserve to be in the Vocal Trinity. It pisses me off when I read comments like, "Celine does not have agility compared to other singers," and whatnot. To be fair, I think people are beginning to appreciate her now. Years ago, in every vocal battle here in RUclips, she always gets slaughtered by other fandoms in the comments section. Recently, however, I noticed that the number of people defending her is increasing by the minute. Celine really is a great singer, and many of her abilities are either not showcased here in RUclips or ignored by other fandoms to purposely undermine her.

For everyone who loves Natalie’s singing please listen to her version of Demi Lovato’s You Don’t Do it for Me Anymore. I just recent heard it but I am responsible for a lot of the in that video the vocal control is unmatched. She really is in a league of her own with the sheer command she has over her voice. She’s incredible.

I dont know if people actually notice that the belting range of tenors starts at around F3/F#3 because their voices sits an octave below the soprano's. Soprano's actually starts sounding belting from say Bb4 and so does tenors at Bb3. So comparing upper 3rd octave as low notes to tenors is just not accurate or fair.
Tenor with a good technique vocalise upper second octave as low notes(F2/F#2-D#3)

Sadly, Natalie isn't appreciated enough because most people don't know about her. I only discovered her through the YT vocal community and I instantly fell in love with her voice. But most people won't ever find out she exists because she isn't mainstream enough. She's a Broadway singer, and general audiences don't pay attention to them.

Singing is much more than just technique and this lady is the living proof. She’s very good, she has mastered her instrument but there’s absolutely no emotion there. She just fails massively at conveying any message, and a lot of this has to do with her "perfect" vocals. Even her "normal" stuff is too Broadwayish.
There’s a reason why worse singers are usually more successful in popular music than these type of vocalists, and it’s simply because the former kind actually connects with people despite their questionable singing.
That’s also why musical theater is overpopulated by singers with failed careers in popular music. (Didn’t she try American Idol?) If it were up to them, most of them would choose to be active recording artists who tour the world but they couldn’t achieve that.
Natalie is a sweetheart and she’s a true virtuoso, but her piercing timbre is too annoying for me. Anyhow, it’s always pleasant to see how much she enjoys singing.
